up
at
the

M:
What

W:
We
land
around
noon.
So,
we

p.m.
M:
Oh,
but
I
have
to
pick
up
Sandy
from
the

at
1:30
p.m.
I
won't
be
able
to
get
to
the

2:00
p.m.
at
the

W:
What's
wrong
with
Sandy?
M:
Nothing
too
serious.
The
vet
said
she

something.
W:
Oh,

Your

no
one

be
anywhere.
We'll
plan

2:00
p.m.
at
the
station.
OK?
M:
Works

me.
W:
Oh,
hang

Where
are
we

If
you
are
bringing
Sandy

car,
we
won't

room
to
sit
in
the
back
seat.
M:
That's
true.
Also,
what

your
luggage?
W:
Son,
can't
you
put
off
picking
up
Sandy
until
later
in
the
afternoon?
That
would
make
everything
easier.
M:
I
will

the
vet

that's
possible.
I'll
call
you
right
back.
W:
OK.

【解析】
【原文】Well,
folks,
it's
time
for
the
weekly
weather
report.
We
have
a
lot
of
different
kinds
of
weather
coming
at
us
over
the
next
several
days.
On
Monday
and
Tuesday,
the
weather
will
be
just
as
pleasant
as
it
has
been
lately.
Warm
days,
cooler
nights,
with
a
light
wind
from
the
ocean
coming
across
the
hills:
beautiful
late
summer
weather
--
so
get
outside
and
enjoy
it!
By
Tuesday
evening,
though,
the
weather
will
turn.
We'll
be
getting
the
first
of
the
autumn
rains.
The
storm
system
will
come
down
from
the
north,
from
the
direction
of
Fremont.
Our
area
will
be
hit
hardest
with
rain
--
we
should
receive
up
to
an
inch
of
rain
overnight!
With
the
storm
will
come
much
cooler
weather.
You'd
better
pack
your
summer
clothes
away,
because
you
won't
need
them
for
a
long
time!
By
Friday
morning,
all
the
wet
weather
will
have
passed.
But
the
temperatures
will
drop
even
further
into
the
weekend.
And
since
Gilroy
is
not
very
close
to
the
sea,
we
can
expect
the
weather
to
remain
cool
for
quite
some
time.
But
if
we
get
lucky,
we'll
have
hot
weather
once
more
before
winter.
Late
September
and
early
October
generally
bring
a
couple
of
weeks
that
feel
like
summer.

本文是夹叙夹议文。文章讲述了作者是一个热情的读者,孩提时热衷读书,第一份工作在图书馆。有了孩子以后,一家人去图书馆读书,阅读的习惯代代传承下去。作为小说家,作者呼吁其他作家支持图书馆,宣传图书馆。
【24题详解】
推理判断题。根据第一段的

Why
should
mankind
explore
space?
Why
should
money,
time
and
effort
be
spent
exploring
and
researching
something
with
so
few
apparent
benefits?
Why
should
resources
be
spent
on
space
rather
than
on
conditions
and
people
on
Earth?
These
are
questions
that,
understandably,
are
very
often
asked.
Perhaps
the
best
answer
lies
in
our
genetic
makeup
as
human
beings.
What
drove
our
ancestors
to
move
from
the
trees
into
the
plains,
and
on
into
all
possible
areas
and
environments?
The
wider
the
spread
of
a
species,
the
better
its
chance
of
survival.
Perhaps
the
best
reason
for
exploring
space
is
this
genetic
tendency
to
expand
wherever
possible.
Nearly
every
successful
civilization
has
explored,
because
by
doing
so,
any
dangers
in
surrounding
areas
can
be
identified
and
prepared
for.
W
ithout
knowledge,
we
may
be
completely
destroyed
by
the
danger.
With
knowledge,
we
can
lessen
its
effects.
Exploration
also
allows
minerals
and
other
potential
resources
to
be
found.
Even
if
we
have
no
immediate
need
of
them,
they
will
perhaps
be
useful
later.
Resources
may
be
more
than
physical
possessions.
Knowledge
or
techniques
have
been
acquired
through
exploration.
The
techniques
may
have
medical
applications
which
can
improve
the
length
or
quality
of
our
lives.
We
have
already
benefited
from
other
spin
-offs
including
improvements
in
earthquake
prediction,
in
satellites
for
weather
forecasting
and
in
communications
systems.
Even
non-stick
pans
and
mirrored
sunglasses
are
by-products(副产品)
of
technological
developments
in
the
space
industry!
While
many
resources
are
spent
on
what
seems
a
small
return,
the
exploration
of
space
allows
creative,
brave
and
intelligent
members
of
our
species
to
focus
on
what
may
serve
to
save
us.
While
space
may
hold
many
wonders
and
explanations
of
how
the
universe
was
formed
or
how
it
works,
it
also
holds
dangers.
The
danger
exists,
but
knowledge
can
help
human
beings
to
survive.
Without
the
ability
to
reach
out
across
space,
the
chance
to
save
ourselves
might
not
exist.
While
Earth
is
the
only
planet
known
to
support
life,
surely
the
adaptive
ability
of
humans
would
allow
us
to
live
on
other
planets.
It
is
true
that
the
lifestyle
would
be
different,
but
human
life
and
cultures
have
adapted
in
the
past
and
surely
could
in
the
future.

Is
Managing
Kids'
Screen
Time
a
Good
Idea?
Screen
time
is
a
big
topic
of
conversation
in
today's
households,
particularly
during
the
pandemic
when
online
education
hours
have
multiplied
for
many
students.___36___They
hope
to
spare
their
kids
from
the
countless
challenges
that
technology
can
bring.
Yet
the
challenges
of
screen
time
overuse
seldom
come
from
kids'
devices
themselves,
but
rather
from
the
tense
relationships
that
technology
can
bring
to
families.___37___But
technology
has
positive
benefits
too.
Since
every
child
and
family
is
different,
managing
screen
time
calls
for
joint
family
decision-making.
If
parents
believe
they
can
manage
a
child's
screen
time
through
adolescence,
they
are
not
only
fooling
themselves
but
also
inviting
relationship
trouble
with
their
teens.
It
is
a
myth
to
think
that
parents
can
or
should
manage
their
kids'
screen
time
through
authoritarian
restrictions,
even
during
elementary
school.
___38___
When
children
are
left
out
of
those
decisions,
they
often
become
less
communicative
with
parents
and
siblings.
This
is
the
opposite
of
what
parents
want
to
achieve.
___39___
From
early
ages,
children
are
quite
capable
of
understanding
that
a
good
life
involves
awareness
and
balance.
Just
as
they
learn
right
from
wrong,
and
good
from
bad,
they
can
also
learn
to
use
technology
in
healthy
ways.
Learning
how
to
regulate
oneself
and
develop
healthy
behaviors
is
one
of
the
primary
tasks
of
childhood
and
adolescence.
What
happens
when
an
adult
tries
to
regulate
a
child
is
that
the
child
misses
out
on
the
opportunity
to
learn
for
themselves.
Enforced
restrictions
can
also
make
children
feel
helpless
and
less
confident.
To
be
clear,
this
article
is
not
suggesting
that
families
never
use
apps
or
trackers,
or
that
there
should
be
no
restrictions
on
screen
time.___40___Parents
should
give
voice
to
children
and
involve
them
in
the
planning
and
decision-making
process.
A.
Of
course,
there
are
websites
that
are
unhealthy
for
kids
to
access.
B.
The
alternative
is
to
involve
children
in
decisions
that
govern
screen
time.
C.
However,
every
family
needs
a
family
media
plan
between
family
members.
D.
The
goal
is
to
see,
hear,
feel,
and
understand
how
children
view
screen
time.
E.
To
manage
children's
screen
time,
parents
have
invested
in
apps
and
trackers.
F.
To
get
children
involved,
parents
should
trust
and
develop
kids'
self-awareness.
G.
What
it

【解析】
这是一篇议论文。文章讨论了“管理孩子们的屏幕时间是个好主意吗”这一问题,最后得出结论:父母应该让孩子们有发言权,让他们参与问题的计划和决策过程。
【36题详解】
由上一句“在今天的家庭中,屏幕时间是一个重要的话题,特别是在疫情流行期间,许多学生的在线教育时间成倍增加。”和下一句“他们希望让孩子们免受科技带来的无数挑战。”可知,疫情流行期间,学生上网面对屏幕的时间增加,家长害怕这样对孩子造成不好的影响,所以会去购买相关的程序工具来监控孩子的上网时间,控制孩子们的屏幕时间,该选项中的“manage
children's
screen
time”对应本段尾句中的“managing
screen
time”,承接上下文,E选项“为了管理孩子们的屏幕时间,家长们投资了应用程序和追踪器。”切题。故选E项。
【37题详解】
由下一句“但是科技也有积极的好处。”可知,But表转折,空后说科技的好处,此空应说科技不好的地方,比如不健康的网站对孩子不好,承接下文,A选项“当然,有些网站对孩子来说是不健康的。”切题。故选A项。
【38题详解】
由上一句“这是个神话,认为父母可以或应该通过专制的限制来管理孩子的荧屏时间,甚至在小学阶段也是如此。”和下一句“当孩子们被排除在这些决定之外时,他们通常会减少与父母和兄弟姐妹的交流。”可知,对于管理孩子们的屏幕时间,父母专制型的监管很难实现,而且当孩子被排除在“屏幕时间管理”的决定外,又会带来消极影响,说明作者认为孩子应该参与到“屏幕时间管理”的决策中,该选项中的“decisions”对应下文中的“those
decisions”,承接上下文,B选项“另一种选择是让孩子们参与决定屏幕时间。”切题。故选B项。
【39题详解】
由下两句“从很小的时候起,孩子们就很有能力理解良好的生活需要意识和平衡。正如他们从错误中学习正确,从错误中学习好,他们也可以学习以健康的方式使用技术。”可知,孩子有能力理解一些事物,也能学习各种使用技术,说明孩子是有自主(学习)意识的,所以让孩子参与到“屏幕时间管理”的决策中时,父母要信任孩子有自我意识去学习、理解事物,承接下文,F选项“为了让孩子参与进来,父母应该信任并培养孩子的自我意识。”切题。故选F项。
【40题详解】
由上一句“明确地说,这篇文章并不是建议家庭永远不要使用应用程序或追踪器,或者不应该限制屏幕时间。”和下一句“父母应该让孩子们有发言权,让他们参与计划和决策过程。”可知,文章并非不建议父母不去管理孩子的屏幕时间,而是建议父母让孩子也参与到“屏幕时间管理”的决策中,相对于父母专制型的完全监管,这是一种不一样的管理屏幕时间方式,承接上下文,G选项“它的建议是,家长们应该用不同的方式来管理屏幕时间。”切题。故选G项。

or
nails”与动词“involve”之间为被动关系,应用一般现在时的被动语态;且or连接的并列成分作主语时,其谓语通常要与靠近的主语保持一致,即谓语动词与nails保持一致,用复数。故填are
involved。
【66题详解】

far”可知,此句应用现在完成时,主语为“The
master
carpenter”,助动词应用has。故填has
attracted。
【70题详解】
考查固定搭配。句意:阿木爷爷坚称自己不是网红,只是个普通的农民。由not
an
internet

本文为记叙文。一位女士在出差过程中,想通过晒太阳浴放松自己。于是,她身穿泳装躺在了旅店楼顶上。但是,不巧的是,她正躺在了旅馆餐厅的天窗上,被其他的客人一览无余。
【详解】第一处:考查介词。固定搭配:be

第五处:考查冠词。此处特指“旅馆的楼顶上”,应使用定冠词。故roof前加the。

第八处:考查代词。根据语境可知,此处指“没有人能看到我!”故Everybody改为Nobody。

第十处:考查名词复数。根据前面All
of可知,此处应使用名词复数,意为“所有的客人们”。故guest改为guests。
【点睛】在高考里,英语语法填空题是很多考生最害怕的一类题型。但是如果能掌握好一些解题的技巧,就会发现,语法填空其实并没有想象中的那么困难。在做题过程中,最重要的是要记住随时联系上下文,从整篇文章的角度中去判断空格处应填哪个单词。如果空格后是名词(尤其是单数名词)应该考虑空格处是否需要填冠词(a,an,the)、物主代词(my,your,his等)、指示代词(this,
that等)、不定代词(few,little,many,much,all,each,every,both,neither,other等)、名词所有格或形容词等进行修饰。例如第10小题,根据设空处前的All
of可知,此处应使用名词复数,意为“所有的客人们”。

I

the

Why
should
mankind
explore
space?
Why
should
money,
time
and
effort
be
spent
exploring
and
researching
something
with
so
few
apparent
benefits?
Why
should
resources
be
spent
on
space
rather
than
on
conditions
and
people
on
Earth?
These
are
questions
that,
understandably,
are
very
often
asked.
Perhaps
the
best
answer
lies
in
our
genetic
makeup
as
human
beings.
What
drove
our
ancestors
to
move
from
the
trees
into
the
plains,
and
on
into
all
possible
areas
and
environments?
The
wider
the
spread
of
a
species,
the
better
its
chance
of
survival.
Perhaps
the
best
reason
for
exploring
space
is
this
genetic
tendency
to
expand
wherever
possible.
Nearly
every
successful
civilization
has
explored,
because
by
doing
so,
any
dangers
in
surrounding
areas
can
be
identified
and
prepared
for.
W
ithout
knowledge,
we
may
be
completely
destroyed
by
the
danger.
With
knowledge,
we
can
lessen
its
effects.
Exploration
also
allows
minerals
and
other
potential
resources
to
be
found.
Even
if
we
have
no
immediate
need
of
them,
they
will
perhaps
be
useful
later.
Resources
may
be
more
than
physical
possessions.
Knowledge
or
techniques
have
been
acquired
through
exploration.
The
techniques
may
have
medical
applications
which
can
improve
the
length
or
quality
of
our
lives.
We
have
already
benefited
from
other
spin
-offs
including
improvements
in
earthquake
prediction,
in
satellites
for
weather
forecasting
and
in
communications
systems.
Even
non-stick
pans
and
mirrored
sunglasses
are
by-products(副产品)
of
technological
developments
in
the
space
industry!
While
many
resources
are
spent
on
what
seems
a
small
return,
the
exploration
of
space
allows
creative,
brave
and
intelligent
members
of
our
species
to
focus
on
what
may
serve
to
save
us.
While
space
may
hold
many
wonders
and
explanations
of
how
the
universe
was
formed
or
how
it
works,
it
also
holds
dangers.
The
danger
exists,
but
knowledge
can
help
human
beings
to
survive.
Without
the
ability
to
reach
out
across
space,
the
chance
to
save
ourselves
might
not
exist.
While
Earth
is
the
only
planet
known
to
support
life,
surely
the
adaptive
ability
of
humans
would
allow
us
to
live
on
other
planets.
It
is
true
that
the
lifestyle
would
be
different,
but
human
life
and
cultures
have
adapted
in
the
past
and
surely
could
in
the
future.
28.
Why
does
the
author
mention
the
questions?
A.
To
express
his
doubts.
B.
To
compare
different
ideas.
C.
To
introduce
points
for
discussion.
D.
To
describe
the
conditions
on
Earth.
29.
What
is
the
reason
for
exploring
space
based
on?
A.
Humans
are
nature
born
to
do
so.
B.
Humans
have
the
tendency
to
fight.
C.
Humans
may
find
new
sources
of
food.
D
Humans
don't
like
to
stay
in

Electronic
sensors
built
into
paper
could
be
used
in
a
range
of
ways
from
information
storage
to
touch
screens
and
more.
Electronic
sensors
built
into
cartons(纸盒)may
make
it
easier
to
tell
when
it’s
time
to
throw
out
rotten
milk
or
orange
juice.
And
that’s
just
the
start.
At
least
that’s
the
goal
for
researchers
working
on
putting
electronics
into
paper.
They’re
trying
to
figure
out
how
to
combine
the
flexibility,
low-cost
and
recyclability
of
paper
with
the
information-carrying
ability
of
electronics.
Daniel
Torbjork,
a
physics
graduate
student
in
Finland,
has
been
working
on
the
problem.
He’s
published
a
review
of
the
field
in
the
journal
Advanced
Materials.
Much
research
has
been
focused
in
this
area.
While
most
electronic
applications
require
patterned
conducting
structures,
conductive
paper
could
be
used
in
applications
such
as
energy
storage
devices,
sensors,
electric
heaters
and
others,
according
to
Torbjork.
“You
could
even
have
some
interactive
functions
in
magazines,”
Torbjork
said,
“You
could
put
a
simple
game
in
a
package.
If
you
want
a
touch
screen,
press
a
button
and
then
something
happen.
Sensors
in
paper
could
tell
us
when
something
has
gone
bad.”
Additional
applications,
such
as
information
storage
and
security
paper,
have
been
suggested
for
magnetic
papers
containing
magnetite.
In
Massachusetts,
researchers
have
figured
out
how
to
post
a
video
of
such
a
device
put
into
a
paper
airplane.
German
researchers
have
also
put
electronic
chips
in
paper
bank
notes
to
defend
counter-feiters(造伪币者).
Paper
is
a
good
material
but
printing
electronics
also
requires
low-cost
manufacturing.
As
many
US
and
European
paper
makers
lose
market
share
to
cheaper
paper
from
China,
these
big
paper
companies
are
looking
for
added
value
products.
That’s
where
electronic
paper
devices
could
make
a
difference.
“The
major
obstacles
are
paper’s
large
surface
roughness
and
chemical
impurities.”
Torbjork
says.
But
others
in
the
field
think
that
electronic
sensors
in
paper
are
still
far
from
the
consumer
marketplace.
“I
don’t
think
it’s
going
to
happen.”
said
Roy
Horgan.
“You
need
a
conductive
surface.
It
could
be
10
years
out.
What
we
are
looking
for
are
solutions
that
you
can
commercialize
to?day.”
Solar
Print
is
partnering
with
Italian
automaker
Fiat
to
develop
a
unique
auto-glass
with
tiny
photostatic
cells(光电)that
can
capture
electricity
from
the
sun.
In
the
meantime,
using
paper
to
conduct
electricity
is
still
a
“blue-sky”
project.
“I
would
love
to
see
someone
prove
me
wrong,
because
that
means
that
it’s
actually
happening.”
Horgan
said.
“If
someone
comes
up
with
conductive
paper,
then
that’s
a
very
interesting
technology.”

Is
Managing
Kids'
Screen
Time
a
Good
Idea?
Screen
time
is
a
big
topic
of
conversation
in
today's
households,
particularly
during
the
pandemic
when
online
education
hours
have
multiplied
for
many
students.___36___They
hope
to
spare
their
kids
from
the
countless
challenges
that
technology
can
bring.
Yet
the
challenges
of
screen
time
overuse
seldom
come
from
kids'
devices
themselves,
but
rather
from
the
tense
relationships
that
technology
can
bring
to
families.___37___But
technology
has
positive
benefits
too.
Since
every
child
and
family
is
different,
managing
screen
time
calls
for
joint
family
decision-making.
If
parents
believe
they
can
manage
a
child's
screen
time
through
adolescence,
they
are
not
only
fooling
themselves
but
also
inviting
relationship
trouble
with
their
teens.
It
is
a
myth
to
think
that
parents
can
or
should
manage
their
kids'
screen
time
through
authoritarian
restrictions,
even
during
elementary
school.
___38___
When
children
are
left
out
of
those
decisions,
they
often
become
less
communicative
with
parents
and
siblings.
This
is
the
opposite
of
what
parents
want
to
achieve.
___39___
From
early
ages,
children
are
quite
capable
of
understanding
that
a
good
life
involves
awareness
and
balance.
Just
as
they
learn
right
from
wrong,
and
good
from
bad,
they
can
also
learn
to
use
technology
in
healthy
ways.
Learning
how
to
regulate
oneself
and
develop
healthy
behaviors
is
one
of
the
primary
tasks
of
childhood
and
adolescence.
What
happens
when
an
adult
tries
to
regulate
a
child
is
that
the
child
misses
out
on
the
opportunity
to
learn
for
themselves.
Enforced
restrictions
can
also
make
children
feel
helpless
and
less
confident.
To
be
clear,
this
article
is
not
suggesting
that
families
never
use
apps
or
trackers,
or
that
there
should
be
no
restrictions
on
screen
time.___40___Parents
should
give
voice
to
children
and
involve
them
in
the
planning
and
decision-making
process.
A.
Of
course,
there
are
websites
that
are
unhealthy
for
kids
to
access.
B.
The
alternative
is
to
involve
children
in
decisions
that
govern
screen
time.
C.
However,
every
family
needs
a
family
media
plan
between
family
members.
D.
The
goal
is
to
see,
hear,
feel,
and
understand
how
children
view
screen
time.
E.
To
manage
children's
screen
time,
parents
have
invested
in
apps
and
trackers.
F.
To
get
children
involved,
parents
should
trust
and
develop
kids'
self-awareness.
G.
What
it
is
suggesting
is
that
parents
look
at
managing
screen
time
in
a
different
way.
