一、学习目标:
1.知识与技能目标:
a.学生能听懂、会说、认读关于季节的单词及短语。
b.能够理解运用下列句子: Why? Because…
2.学习策略目标:
a.积极与同伴合作,能够运用所学的知识与他人讨论自己最喜欢的季节及其原因。
b.能够在列表的帮助下进行简单的写作输出。
3.情感态度目标:
a.用talk show访谈的方式激发学习兴趣,创设情景为学生提供轻松的学习氛围。
b.学生通过本课学习,了解四季不同特点及相关活动,使英语学习与实际生活相结合,从而激发和培养其热爱生活、热爱自然的良好品质。
二、教学重点:
1.学生能够听懂、会说、认读、书写关于季节的单词及短语;
2. 能够熟练使用短语like to、love to对自己的喜好进行描述。
教学难点:
在日常生活中,学生能够灵活运用句子: Why? Because…来询问并表述原因。
教具、学具:多媒体,录音机,水果、树叶实物。
教学过程:
Step1 Warming up
Greeting
T: Good morning.

设计意图:通过欣赏歌曲,可以让学生尽快进入课堂,初步感知本课话题seasons,活跃了课堂气氛。歌曲的内容和本课的内容相关,为本课学习做好准备。
Lead-in
T: Welcome to Nancy Talk. Today we are going to talk about seasons.
设计意图:创设情境,用教室来模拟演播室,老师充当talk show主持人,学生来充当观众。用新颖的课堂形式来激发学生的学习兴趣。
Step 2 Presentation
Review
T: First, I have some questions for the audience.
T: How’s the weather in winter? What can you see in winter? (教师出示雪景图片)
S1: It’s cold and snowy. I can see ice and snow.
T: How’s the weather in spring? What can you see in spring? (教师播放春天鸟语花香的视频)
S2: It’s warm. I can see new leaves. And the flowers are blooming.
T: How’s the weather in summer? What can you see in summer? (教师出示带有气温标志的图片)
S3: It’s hot. I can see the hot sun.
T: How’s the weather in autumn? What can you see in summer? (教师出示各种各样秋天树的图片)
S4: It’s cool and windy. The leaves turn red and yellow.
设计意图:回顾每个季节的天气情况,感知并学习四季的不同特点。复习How’s the weather? 为接下来新知识的学习做准备。
2. Interview
T: Today we have a special guest. He is Li Ming. Most of the audience must know him. Now welcome our guest Li Ming. (One of the students acts as Li Ming, and answers the questions.)
Li Ming: Good morning, everyone! I am glad to be here today.
T: Welcome! May I ask you any questions?
Li Ming: Sure!
T: What season do you like?
Li Ming: I like all seasons.
T: Well, why do you like winter?
Li Ming: Because I like the snow. I like to make snowmen. And I love the Spring Festival.
T: It seems interesting in winter. Why do you like spring?
Li Ming: Because I love the new leaves and flowers. And I love to plant trees.
T: You like summer, don抰 you?
Li Ming: Yes, I do.
T: Why?
Li Ming: Because I like summer holidays. I love to swim in the sea.
T: I think all of the audiences like summer too. Because they also like summer holidays.
T: What抯 your favourite season?
Li Ming: You can guess it! (Show a red maple leaf)
T: Who gets the answer?
S5: Autumn!
T: Is it right?
Li Ming: Yes, he gets it.
T: Why?
Li Ming: Because I like to fly a kite. And I love to eat fruits.
T: We have a good morning today. Thanks for your coming, Mr Li.

设计意图:采用talk show的访谈模式,学生在理解文章内容的基础上,更增加了一种参与感。通过主持人和嘉宾的对话,学生对怎样灵活运用所学知识进行交谈有了更深刻的理解。
Step 3 Practice
T: Work in pairs. One is the host, the other is the guest. According to the interview, please make your own dialogue with the questions: What’s your favourite season? Why? Then I will ask some pairs to show their dialogue.
设计意图:及时巩固新学的知识,加强学生对课文的理解与表达。
T: Which pair wants to come first?

T: Different people like different seasons. Can you make a survey about your group members’ favourite season and why? Then finish the chart.

Writing
T: According to the chart,write a passage “ What’s Your Favourite Season?”. Talk about your favourite season and why. You can talk about the weather, the clothes you wear, things you can see, and things like to do in this season. You should write at least 50 words.
设计意图:学习英语的最终目标是学生能将所学的知识灵活运用于生活中进行自然的表达,培养学生的综合语言运用能力。 教师在这个环节创设仿写的活动,让学生充分利用所学知识,将英语学习落实到实处。

六、教学反思:
这节课采用了talk show访谈的教学方式,通过主持人和嘉宾的一问一答让学生理解整篇文章的内容。本单元的知识点联系实际,学生比较感兴趣,学习效果较好。新颖的教学方式不仅能使学生初步了解talk show这种节目,而且能为学生运用所学知识进行对话起到示范作用。
本节课我注重教学中情境的创设,情景能使抽象的语言具体化、情景化和形象化。在生动、形象的情景中讲解、操练英语知识,能促进学生理解、记忆所学英语和运用英语的能力,是促使学生积极学习的重要手段。当然课堂中也有许多需要改进的地方。
这节课教学容量大、词汇多、节奏快,课堂上我更注重学生的说和写的操练,可能对于基础稍差的学生难度有点大,有些跟不上。在之后的教学过程中要不断地完善和改进。
