Step 1.Organizing the teaching
1.Greetings
2.Sing an English song.

Step 2. Revision:
1.Review “come”and other vocabulary with the “Leave arrive chant”.

Step 3.Key concepts:invite song star
1. Introduce:
a. Role play to demonstrate “invite”.Ask for a volunteer and lead a
dialogue such as:
T: (to the class,indicating a S)We are going to a restaurant to have
lunch.Let’s invite __(S2).___(S2),please come.
S2: (Stands up and joins)
Have a chain drill to demonstrate.
b. Play “What’s wrong” with phrases such as “I read a song” or “I
talk a song” to reinforce this word.
c.Show a picture of a star to demonstrate “star”.
2. Student book:
Play the audiotape as the Ss follow in their books.
3.Practice:
a.Teach “Oh,Christmas tree”in No.2of the student book.This is a
famous Christmas’ caral.
b. Put up a big,cut out Christmas tree and ask each student to make
a decoration for it . They can make any object they want as long as they can name it in English and write it on their decoration. When each student has finished, he or
she says “Let’s invite ___. ___, please come.”to indicate who should
come next.
六.Students’ activity:
1.Sing an English song.
2.Daily dialogue.
3.Let’s chant: “Leave and Arrive”.
4.Imitate the dialogue of the lesson.
5.Teach the song “Christmas Tree”.
