教材分析
在本单元，学生将通过对圣诞节的了解，构建这方面相关的知识。学生将要学习圣诞节日的来源，日期，习俗等，从而使学生能对英语的学习有更加浓厚的兴趣。
学生分析
学生已经对英语已有了好奇心，能根据教师的指令做动作、做游戏、做事情。能做故事课的角色表演。但学生的问题是没有语言环境让学生的口语得到充分的锻炼。学生不仅需要掌握英语的语法、时态等，更重要的是口语的表达。
教学目标
语言技能目标：
能听懂简单的配图小故事，能就日常生活话题作简短叙述，能根据拼读的规律读出简单的单词，能学唱简单的英语歌曲和歌谣30首左右，能在教师的帮助下表演小故事或者小短剧。
语言知识目标：
掌握词汇：put up, light, thing, put under, top, done;
能够用句型
First,______________; Then_____________; Now____________; At the end________________.来描述搭建圣诞树的过程。
借助PPT幻灯片、小组PK、对话表演、唱歌等多样灵活有趣的形式，在轻松愉快的氛围中，激发学生的学习兴趣和热情，培养学生学习的主动性和创造性使学生产生成就感，并自信地参与语言活动。
情感态度目标：
1.通过本课学习激发学生的学习兴趣，培养学生的综合语言运用能力。
2.通过本课学习培养学生乐于接触外国文化，体会文化差异。

（五）教学策略
主要利用组内PK、歌曲、小组合作创造自己的圣诞树以及最终搭建真正的圣诞树等形式从听说读写四方面来学习本节课的重点单词和句子。
（六）教学用具
教学光盘、ppt、圣诞树简笔画进行小组加分以及一个圣诞树。
