及日期的表述。本课为PEP6第四单元B部分Let’s
talk板块。本课是陈杰向Mike询问其生日时得知Mike与陈杰妈妈同一天生日的对话,课文对话从Let’s
try部分讨论Mike新出生的表弟的生日,自然过渡到Mike的生日,让学生理解When
is
your
birthday?
的意义。对话中还通过陈杰要在妈妈生日那天为妈妈煮一碗生日面渗透了中国过生日吃长寿面的习俗。

三、学习者特征分析
本次授课对象是为五年级的学生。这个年级学生已经具备一定的语言表达能力,能够用完整的句型描述自己的所见。在本课之前学生已学过了句型Where

...?
It’s
on
...
以及日期的表述。经过两年多的学习,五年级的学生已具备根据所给条件设计活动的能力。他们富有想象力,性格活泼好动,有鲜明的喜好,能够按照他人的喜好,对接自己已有的生活经验,设计一场既有趣又有意义的主题生日派对。
