学习描述学校的表达法。
学习课文中介绍各个场所的用途的表达方式。如:have lessons, plan lessons, play sports, get books and have science classes,show sb. around, visiting students.

标 Enable the students to know the places of school according to the pictures
2. Enable the students to say the functions of the places at school. Say what they can do in these places.
3. Enable the students to introduce their school to their friends.

(2)Key sentences:
We have lessons here.
Our teachers plan their lessons here.
We play sports and have fun there.
We get books there.
We have our science classes there.
教学 难点 (1) Grammar: Show sb. around
(2) Introduce school to their friends.
学情 分析 The students may feel a little difficult in part of phrases.
So it’s necessary to help them to bear them in their mind via some games and activities.

Step1 Warm-up Let’s chant
Our school will shine today.
Enjoy the song Sing and enjoy the song. Make the students take an interest in English according to an English song.
Meanwhile embedded a kind of relaxing atmosphere.
Step 2 Greetings The teacher says to the students
T: The song is great!
Do you like school?
S: Yes, I do./No, I don抰
T: How do you like your school?
S: I like it very much./My school is beautiful.
T: Why do you like your school?
S: Because we have many friends here./ Because it is very beautiful厖. Make a short conversation with the teacher. And answer these questions freely.
1. Lead into the text.
2. Communication with the students.
3. Let the students express themselves freely and confidently, never be bound to fixed answers.
Step 3 Lead-in Look at the screen. Show one of Chinese classroom, then students try to say something about the classroom.
Show the second picture of Canada and have the students say the differences
A video is played about our school.
The teacher explains the places
( This is our school.
This is our classroom. We have lessons here. This is an office. Our teachers plan their lessons here. That is the library. We get books there. That is the playground. We play sports and have fun there. It抯 a lab. We have science classes there.)
Answer the questions say 搘hat can you see in the picture?
Listen and watch.
Try to know about the different culture between Chinese school and Canadian school.
The teacher shows the students school to impress some places of the school and know about the whole school.

2. Show the pictures on the screen and teach new words.

Read and bear these words in their mind.
Read it one by one
Use the words in a
sentence
Read together.
Grasp the key words and let the students use it in a sentence.
3. Play a game---what is missing in the picture?
Show 5 groups pictures and let the students choose which one is missing and say the word at once. See and rush to answer
Have a better way to remember the words.
4. Listen to the statements and number the pictures (twice)
Do the exercises Consolidation
5. Show the picture of having lessons\ getting books and so on.
Know about what we can do in the classroom/office/library
/ playground/ lab. Phrases remembering
Practise
Some good students master the phrases and try to make up a dialogue with each partner.

Improve the sense of cooperation and the ability of communication
6. Game—A gesture, a guess.(一个比划,一个猜)
Pair work.
One student does some movements and the other one guesses and speaks it loudly. If they guess right, they will got a triangle (评价)
7. Chain game

8. Make up a dialogue
