教学准备
教师准备：多媒体课件，设计课文中所涉及的图片或教学幻灯片，设计课后巩固练习的幻灯片，制作课文插图和人物对话的课件并将听力插入。
学生准备：制作自己喜欢明星脸的卡通帽(1～2个)。

★Leading-in 展示两人初次相见的图片，让学生边看边谈论下面的问题。

2. How do they introduce themselves?
3. How do they ask for others’ name? Look carefully.
Discuss the questions with others. 通过多媒体课件呈现真实情景，让学生们感受真正的西方文化，同时也为以后的话题——感谢做好铺垫。
★Presentation The teacher walks to one student and says: Hello/Hi, my name is/I am …
Shake hands with the students while doing it.
Write down the sentences on the blackboard. Listen carefully.

★Consolidation 戴上画有明星脸的卡通帽(如周杰伦)。
Say: Hello/Hi, my name is/I am Zhou Jielun. What’s your name?
Read after me: What’s your name? 让学生把自己准备的明星脸戴上，代表现在的身份。

Ask and answer. 此项活动跟学生的实际生活联系紧密，能够激发学生学习英语的兴趣。
★Listening 1. 放映多媒体课件，显示课文Part 2插图和人物对话，让学生边听边读。
2. Let students introduce themselves and ask others’ names. Using the patterns: Hello/Hi, my name is/ I am …What’s your name? Listen carefully.

Practice the sentences one by one. 把课文内容以课件形式呈现给学生并让其跟读，目的在于训练学生的听、说能力;采用做游戏的方式，能充分调动学生的积极性，使学生在玩中体会到学习英语的乐趣。
