Teens
want
structure
(精心组织)
in
their
lives,
which
means
they
want
their
lives
well-planned.
To
begin
building
structure,
teens
need
love
and
trust.
They
need
to
know
their
parents
are
there
to
give
them
needed
love
and
support.
Teens
want
to
be
sure
that
nothing
can
prevent
parents
from
shouldering
their
responsibility
for
them
—
not
their
growing
maturity
(成熟),
misbehavior,
nor
anger
at
something
they
have
done.
Teens
want
parents
to
keep
control
while
allowing
them
to
make
some
decisions.
???
There
are
some
ways
you
can
help
your
teens
create
reasonable
structure
and
remain
close.
One
way
is
to
spend
time
together.
Parents
often
mistake
their
teens’
increased
interest
in
friends
for
disinterest
in
the
family.
???
Teens
would
like
to
spend
more
time
doing
things
with
their
parents,
but
watching
TV
is
not
counted
as
spending
time
together.
As
your
teens
mature,
it
is
important
for
you
and
your
teens
to
spend
time
alone
together,
one
to
one.
Your
teens
need
time
to
talk
to
you
alone
without
any
other
family
member
present.
???
Talk
with
your
teens
about
their
interests
and
concerns.
Make
sure
you
really
show
interest
in
what
is
happening.
When
talking
with
your
teens,
give
full
attention
and
do
not
stop
them.
???
The
way
to
help
your
teens
become
adults
is
to
let
your
teens
into
your
world.
Sharing
your
emotions
and
concerns
with
your
teens
is
important.
Avoid
causing
needless
worry.
???
Trust
your
teens.
Don’t
expect
the
worst.
Hope
for
the
best.
Telling
your
teens
you
don’t
like
their
friends
will
cause
the
teens
not
to
bring
their
friends
home.
If
something
should
go
wrong,
believe
that
your
teens
didn't
do
it
on
purpose.
???
It
is
very
important
that
you
treat
your
teens
with
respect.
Teens
need
the
same
respect
adults
show
for
total
strangers.
Don't
talk
down
to
your
teens.
???
You
need
to
be
supportive
of
your
teens.
What
may
be
a
small
problem
to
you
may
be
troubling
to
your
teens.
Teens
don’t
have
the
experiences
that
adults
have
had.
Let
the
teens
know
that
you
understand
how
much
it
hurts
when
something
happens
that
is
upsetting
or
hurtful
to
them.
As
they
mature,
they
can
look
back
at
some
problems
they
had
and
laugh
at
having
been
upset
by
something
that
now
seems
unimportant.
???
The
most
important
things
to
remember
are:
talk
with
your
teens,
listen
to
their
worries
and
offer
suggestions
when
needed.
This
will
help
your
teens
to
live
a
well-organized
life.

As
a
student,
I
was
most
afraid
to
answer
questions
in
class,
and
I
found
that
the
students
around
were
just
like
me.
At
the
beginning
of
each
class,
when
the
teacher
asked
a
question,
I
always
lowered
my
head
because
I
was
afraid
that
the
teacher
saw
me.
???
One
day,
in
a
foreign
language
class,
Mr.
Black
gave
us
a
lesson.
He
wanted
us
to
be
active
in
class,
so
he
asked
us
some
questions,
but
no
one
answered.
“Let
me
tell
you
a
story
first,”
he
said.
???
"When
I
came
to
the
United
States
to
study,
the
university
often
invited
famous
people
to
make
speeches.
Before
the
beginning
of
every
speech,
I
found
an
interesting
thing.
The
students
around
me
always
took
a
cardboard
folded
(折叠的)
in
half,
wrote
their
names
in
bold
with
the
most
eye-catching
color,
and
then
placed
the
cardboard
on
the
seat.
So
when
the
speaker
needed
the
answers
from
the
students,
he
could
see
and
call
a
listener’s
name
directly.”
?
“
I
couldn’t
understand
that.
My
classmate
told
me
the
speakers
were
all
top
people,
who
meant
chances.
When
your
answer
was
to
his
surprise,
it
meant
he
might
give
you
more
chances.
In
fact,
I
really
saw
a
few
students
got
great
chances
because
of
that.”
???
After
listening
to
the
story,
I
understood
that
the
chance
will
not
find
you
itself.
You
must
show
yourself
all
the
time
so
that
you
can
find
a
chance
on
the
card.

I
want
to
rant
a
little
about
cell
phones.
Here
are
a
few
things
I
hate
about
them.
???
I
hate
it
when
people
turn
cell
phones
on
in
the
movies
to
check
their
messages.
When
someone
turns
a
cell
phone
on
in
the
movies,
I
want
to
turn
on
a
flashlight
and
point
it
at
their
faces.
???
I
hate
it
when
people
talk
loudly
on
cell
phones
in
libraries,
in
quiet
bookstores,
on
buses
or
on
trains.
Do
these
people
really
think
we
want
to
hear
their
conversation?
It’s
not
very
interesting,
to
be
honest.
They’re
usually
talking
about
what
they
ate
for
breakfast,
and
we
can’t
hear
the
other
end
of
the
conversation
(although
I’m
pretty
sure
the
other
side
of
the
conversation
is
just
as
boring).
???
I
hate
it
when
people
answer
their
phone
calls
while
I’m
talking
to
them,
and
then,
in
front
of
me,
continue
a
long
conversation.
I
also
hate
it
when
people
text
while
I’m
sitting
at
dinner
with
them.
This
is
probably
the
worst
thing
people
do
on
cell
phones.
This
sends
the
message
to
the
person
you’re
eating
with
that
"You
are
not

or
important
enough.
I'd
rather
text
my
other
friend.
Obviously,
I
like
this
other
friend
much
better
than
I
like
you."

I
saw

yesterday
standing
in
front

the
Pacific
Ocean.
The
sun
was
setting.
The
sky
was
pink,
orange,
and
blue.
The
waves
were
rolling
onto
the
beach.
She
was
looking
down
at
her
little
pink
cell
phone,
texting
something.
She
did
not
look
up
once.
I
really
wanted
to
tell
her,

答案以及解析
1.答案:1.B;
2.D;
3.C;
4.D;
5.A
解析:1.细节理解题。根据第二段第二句"It
states
how
we
should
sing
or
play
the
song,
requiring
(要求)
all
Chinese
to
respect
it"可知,国歌法要求人们尊重国歌。
2.细节理解题。根据第三段尾句"It
shouldn’t
be
used
at
personal
funerals
(葬礼)
or
as
background
music
in
public
places"可知选D。
3.细节理解题。根据第五段第二句"For
example,
US
people
should
put
their
right
hands
over
their
hearts
while
singing
the
song"可知,美国人唱国歌时,应该把右手放在心脏处。
4.细节理解题。根据全文可知,D项不是《中华人民共和国国歌法》规定的内容。
5.主旨大意题。本文主要介绍了《中华人民共和国国歌法》的颁布和它的主要内容,故A项符合题意。
2.答案:1.B;
2.D;
3.D;
4.C;
5.B
解析:1.细节理解题。根据第一段最后一句"Teens
want
parents
to
keep
control
while
allowing
them
to
make
some
decisions"可知,青少年想要家长把握方向,但同时要允许他们自己做一些决定,因此选B。
2.短语猜测题。画线短语所在句意为"青少年想要花费更多的时间和他们的父母做一些事情,但是看电视不能算作共度时光"。因此选D。
3.细节理解题。根据第六段中的"Don’t
expect
the
worst.
Hope
for
the
best"可知,不要做最坏的预想,希望最好的。因此选D。
4.细节理解题。根据第五段第二句"Sharing
your
emotions
and
concerns
with
your
teens
is
important"可知,跟孩子们分享你的情感和关心是重要的,故选C。
5.标题判断题。纵观全文,尤其根据第二段第一句"There
are
some
ways
you
can
help
your
teens
create
reasonable
structure
and
remain
close"和文章最后一句"This
will
help
your
teens
to
live
a
well-organized
life"可知选
B。
3.答案:1.C2.D3.B4.A5.D
解析:1.作者的老师想让他们在课堂上积极些,就给他们讲述了一个故事:当作者的老师刚到美国学习时,学校常邀请一些名人来演讲,学生通过做名片卡让名人看到以获得机会。作者通过这个故事明白了机会不会来找你,你必须勇敢地展现你自己以获得机会。此题为细节理解题。从文中第二段第二句中的He
wanted
us
to
be
active
in
class可知老师想让学生们在课堂上积极些。所以选C。2.细节理解题。从文中第一段可知,当老师问问题时,我总是低下头,周围的同学和我一样。所以选D。3.细节理解题。从文中第二段第二句中的placed
the
cardboard
on
the
seat(把卡纸放在座位上)和最后一句So
when
the
speaker
needed
the
answers
from
the
students,
he
could
see
and
call
a
listener’s
name
directly.(所以当演讲者需要学生回答问题时,他能看见卡纸并能直接叫出听课人的名字。)可知选B。4.词义猜测题。由画线词前的in
bold(用粗体)及下一句可知此处表示用引人注目的颜色,所以选A。5.主旨大意题。由文章最后一句You
must
show
yourself
all
the
time
so
that
you
can
find
a
chance
on
the
card.可知本文主要告诉我们:勇敢地表现自己就能赢得机会。故选D。
4.答案:1.A;
2.D;
3.C;
4.D
解析:1.推理判断题。根据下文和第一段中的"rant"可推断,此处是说人们通常会抱怨令他们"生气"的事情.故答案为A。
2.细节理解题。根据第四段中的"I
also
hate
it
when
people
text
while
I’m
sitting
at
dinner
with
them.
This
is
probably
the
worst
thing
people
do
on
cell
phones"可知答案为
D。
3.推理判断题。通读全文可推知,作者可能会尽力有礼貌地使用手机,故答案为C。
4.推理判断题。通读最后一段可推知,画线处所缺的句子是D项。
5.答案:1.D;
2.B;
3.C;
4.D;
5.A;
6.D;
7.B;
8.A;
9.C;
10.D
解析:1.此处用She(她)指代上句中的Jenny。
2.lose"丟失";find"发现";see"看见";have"有"。由下文中的"If
(如果)
you
lost
your
pencil
box"可知,凯特和詹妮检到了一个铅笔盒。
3.此用定冠词The特指上文提到的铅笔盒。
4.该句主语为"A
pen,
a
ruler
and
two
pencils”,是复数,故be动词应用are。
5.由上下文可知,此处是在介绍铅笔盒里的尺子。
6.此处和上文中的"two
pencils"相呼应。
7.这个铅笔盒是你的吗?
yours"你的"。
8.ask
sb.
for
sth."向某人要某物",为固定搭配。
9.这个白色杯子是詹妮的朋友送给她的礼物,所以她必须找到它。
must"必须"。
10.say"说";excuse"原谅";thank"谢谢";help"帮助"。由上文詹妮丢了她的杯子可知,此处应是"你能帮助她吗?"。
6.答案:
Nowadays,
more
and
more
students
are
encouraged
to
be
volunteers
to
improve
their
practical
abilities.
For
me,
I
also
stand
on
the
side
of
such
activities
because
I
benefit
a
lot
from
one
experience
of
being
a
volunteer.
It
happened
last
term
when
I
was
still
a
student
in
Grade
Eight.
Our
school
called
on
us
to
volunteer
to
be
a
commentator
in
the
museum
on
the
weekend.
The
news
made
me
excited
because
I
was
crazy
for
culture
and
history.
And
I
wanted
to
share
my
knowledge
with
other.
So
I
joined
the
activity
at
once
with
some
of
my
classmates.
At
first
I
was
a
little
nervous
when
I
stood
in
the
hall
of
the
museum.
A
few
minutes
later,
things
changed.
More
and
more
people
would
like
to
listen
to
my
introduction
about
the
history
of
Datong
Museum.
At
last,
an
old
man
even
praised
me
for
what
I
did.
Without
doubt,
the
experience
is
meaningful
for
me.
On
the
one
hand,
I
believed
I
could
do
something
that
I
had
never
done
before.
On
the
other
hand,
I
brought
some
happiness
the
people
around
me.
It
is
hard
to
imagine
how
proud
we
will
be
when
we
do
something
for
others.
