What Season Is It?
一、教学内容分析：
本课时是川教2011课标版三年级起点小学英语四年级上册第二单元Things Around Us. Lesson2 what season is it?学习的主题是询问季节及其天气。通过学习季节名称，了解各个季节的天气。我所选取的教学内容是以let’s talk部分的对话为主线，同时将let’s learn部分的五个单词整合到对话教学中去，让学生能够在情境中正确运用句型”What season is it? It’s spring/…How’s the weather in spring/…?It’s warm/…”描述当时季节及天气。
二、学生情况分析:
四年级的学生通过一年多的英语学习，已经有了一定的英语基础，能从天气方面入手。对英语学习兴趣比较浓厚，希望得到教师的肯定和表扬，因此在课堂上我也采取了小组竞赛形式，激发学生的积极性和主动性。
三、教学目标分析：
1. 知识与能力目标：
1）能够在情景中运用句型What season is it? It’s spring/…How’s the weather in spring/…?It’s warm/…”询问并回答季节及其天气；
2) 能够在情境中正确运用有关季节的五个单词：season, spring, summer, autumn, winter；
3）能够在图片，动画和教师的帮助下理解对话大意并完成相应问题；
4）能够通过小组合作完成相应表格并做汇报；
5）能够完成创编对话并进行角色扮演。
2. 情感目标：
1）让学生有兴趣用英语表达自己所喜好的季节，并陈述理由；
2）能引导学生注重小组合作学习，培养沟通和团结协作的能力；
3）了解四季的美景，并培养学生热爱大自然，热爱生活的品质，并善于发现生活中的美。
四、教学重难点：
1. 教学重点：能够在情景中运用句型What season is it? It’s spring/…How’s the weather in spring/…?It’s warm/…”询问并回答季节及其天气。
2. 教学难点：用spring及autumn发音。
五、教学道具：
单词卡片，教学课件等。
六、教学过程：
Step1 Greeting.
1. Talk about the weather.
Step 2 Warm up
1. Enjoy the music. The seasons song
(通过欣赏音乐引入，让学生在有趣的歌曲中开始课程。并将书中的对话在课堂真实情景中演绎出来。)
If you listen carefully. If you are active. If you do a very good job, you can get the prize. At last, your tree will be beautiful. If your group is our winner today, you can get the secret gift.
(将学生分为四组，组名分别为“春”“夏”“秋”“冬”，并介绍奖励机制，鼓励学生积极参与课堂上的活动，让每一棵树都变得漂亮。)

2. Present the five words.
1）根据图片及单词卡片教学本课5个新单词。

Today we learned four words and talked about the seasons. All the seasons are very beautiful. And we can find the beautiful scenery everywhere. Let’s enjoy the beautiful scenery.
(展示祖国各地四季的美景，让学生感受各地四季的变化和家乡的美。)
Step 6 Homework.
1. Draw a picture of the seasons.
2. Share your picture with your friends, teachers or family.
