教学内容
川教版小学英语五年级上册Unit2 Lesson2中的Let’s learn 部分。
教学目标
能听说认读昆虫及其身体部位单词:an insect, body, legs, two pair of wings, dragonfly, and butterfly, soft, hard.
能看图对昆虫身体部位提问,如:Does an in sect have six legs? Yes, it does. No, it doesn’t.
培养学生观察能力和敢于运用英语的良好品质。
教学重点
让学生听说认读新单词
教学难点
学生能观察图片,用新句型进行问答,并延伸到生活中。

教学步骤
Step1 Warm-up
1.Greeting
2.Free talk
Today I have a gift for you. Look, what’s it? Ss: It’s a butterfly.
T: It’s a butterfly. It’s an insect. Do you know what’s an insect mean? Read after me.(
Teach an insect)
Ss: an insect......
T: Today we are going to learn What’s an Insect? Read after me.(teach the title and write it on the Bb)
Let’s look at this butterfly. What does it have?(ppt show butterfly”s body)
(设计意图: 通过问候复习以前学过的重要句型,通过举行引入单词昆虫的学习,进而板书标题学习标题。)
Step2 Presentation
T: Can you say them in English? OK! Let’s learn them. (teach the new words)
(通过看图,问句引入新单词的学习,及培养了学生的观察能力,也无意识中让学生进行单次分类学习。)
Ss: (read after the teacher)
T: Can you read now? Let’s practise in groups. If you can’t read, ask me.
Ss: (work in groups,then show)
(小组合作学习,培养学生的团队意识,优生帮助学困生,提高学习兴趣。利用小组读,开火车读,反馈学习情况,便于及时纠正。)
T: OK!All of you did a good job. Let’s play a game Find the missing word.(ppt show pictures)
Ss: (Ss look and say what’s missing.)
T: Well done! Look at the White Board again. What’s this? Can you guess what’s the next picture?
Ss: ( Look and say word)
T: What’s this? Is this an insect? It’s a dragonfly. Does an insect have a pair of wings?(ppt picture, write on the Bb, teach the new sentence)
Ss: (read after the T)
Step 3: Practise and show
1.Look and say (some pictures of animals)
Does an insect have ...? Yes, it does. No, it doesn’t.
2.Work in pairs.
Step4: Consolidation
Do some exercises in Learning Guide.
(句型互相问答,练习相关题型)
Step 5: Summary and homework.
1.What have you learned in this lesson?
2.Read this page 3 times at least.
3.Preview P34 and finish P36.
Step 6:Assessment(评价)
(教师统计各组所得彩蛋总数:how many eggs did you get? 把结果写在黑板上(见板书)。把金色五角星贴在得分最高的组上。)
