Lesson2 Thanksgiving Day (第一课时)
教学目标:
1、学生能够掌握新单词turkey、pie、potato...的拼写及发音。
2、学生能掌握单数变复数的变化规则。
3、通过学习Tony和TingTing的邮件内容,了解感恩节和中秋节的时间及活动形式,发展学生的阅读能力。
4、通过学习感恩节的有关知识,熟悉电子邮件的基本格式,并进行中西方节日文化的比较,丰富相关的文化知识。
教学重难点:
1、感恩节的时间和活动,及其表述。
2、对P56的邮件的理解及背诵。
3、对于新单词ball、August、draw、fork...等的掌握。
4、重点句型:

These are moon cakes.The moon cakes are round.
教学过程:
Step1 Warming up
1、Greeting
2、Review some festival (Teachers’ Day.Halloween...)
3、Use pictures to review some words about this lesson(moon cakes、potato、pie、corn、turkey...)
Step2 Presentations
1、Listen and guess,what’s festival about this lesson?(引出lesson 2Thanksgiving Day)
A、Christmas B、Thanksgiving Day C、Halloween D、Mid-Autumn Festival
2、Introduce something about Thanksgiving Day and Mid-Autumn Festival according to look up the information before class.(播放一些关于外国感恩节的图片,介绍感恩节的起源及发展、习俗。)
3、Read the kownledge about Thanksgiving Day together.
4、Sing the song about weekdays. And review the seven days.

Today we learmed two festivals. What other festivals do you know?
What's your favourite festival? Now let's talk about your favourite. You can write it down on your paper.And Write a letter to me to tell me something about your favourite festival .
