Part 1 Teaching material
By studying of this lesson, the Ss know how to ask and answer 揌ow did you come here? I came here_______. These set of textbooks pay more attention to the Ss interests,experiences and abilities to link to the reality. The content is closely related to the Ss daily life and can help them improve their communication ability.
Part 2 Analysis the students
The students have learned English for 3years but their English learning methods are incomplete.Some students are not interested in English because they think English is very difficult.
Part 3 Teaching Aims
1) . Knowledge aims
a. Master the important words: bus , train, plane, boat, bike, taxi...
b. Master the sentences: How did you come here? I came here...
2) . Ability aims
Through all kinds of ways to improve Ss' abilities of listening, speaking ,reading and communication .
3). Emotional aims
a.Get on well with each other.
b.Get more interested in English.
c.Protect our environment.
Part 4 Teaching important and difficult points
Teaching Important Points
1). Read out the important words and sentences quickly and correctly.
2). Choose the transportation correctly.
Teaching Difficult Points
1).Use the past tense of 揹id and came correctly.
2).Choose the transportation quickly and correctly .
Part 5 Teaching methods and study method
According to the requests of the new standard curriculum and the contents of this course , I decide to use the following teaching methods.
1).Task-based teaching method.
2).Total Physical Response method ( TPR method).
3).Communication method.
4). Pair work.
5).Phonics.
Study methods
1).Pair work. The aim we learn English is to communicate with others, so in the English classes, it抯 very important for students to practise communication ability.
2). Experiences-Practice-Feedback is one of the best way for students to learn.
Part 6 Teaching procedures
Step I Warming up
1).Greeting
2).Enjoy a song: Transportation (To stimulate the Ss learning enthusiasm and active classroom atmosphere.)
Step II Presentation
1).Show the pictures of transportation.
2).Listen and guess.
3).Show some beautiful pictures.
4).Ask and Answer.
5). Listen and answer.
6).Read and point.(To train Ss listening,speaking,pronunciation
and cooperative abilities.)
Step III Practise
.Make an interview.
2).Do exercises.(To develop students language integration and express ability.)
Step IV Expansion and Extension
1).Enjoy a song.
2).Let抯 chant.(This step can attract students attention and make them more interested in English. )
