1.中外家庭亲属成员之间称谓的文化差异
在我国,家庭亲属成员之间的称谓可体现出长幼(例如:“姐弟”和“兄妹”)、血缘关系(例如:“奶奶”和“姥姥”),通过称呼便可得知双方的血缘关系、长幼等。
英语国家却不一样,在称呼中对于血缘、长幼等因素不做细分。例如:grandfather既可以指“爷爷”,也可指“姥爷;外公”;sister既可以指“姐姐”,也可以指“妹妹”。
grand:前缀,表示“隔一代的(亲戚关系)”意为“(外)祖......”或“外(孙)......”
