一、教材内容解读
本课是六年级上册的第一课，其中涉及的现在进行时是小学英语考核的重点，它包含三个课时的教学内容，各个课时的教学内容既有联系又有不同侧重点.第二课时复习巩固句型 what is the woman/man doing now？She/ He is...的基础上以旧知引出新知识 what is the girl/boy doing？ He/ She is ...掌握短语clean the blackboard，clean the classroom，drink water，do word exercise，wait for a classmate, have a lesson。
二.学情分析.
本班学生的英语基础普遍较差，前面3—5年级学的知识都浮于表面，记得不牢，会一些简单的单词，发音不标准，语感不强。这导致他们对英语学习兴趣有所下降，两极分化比较严重。为了激发学生学习英语的兴趣，让他们初步建立学习英语的自信心，在教学过程中，注意学生能力的培养，本班的学生较活泼，故我运用各种游戏形式激发学生学习兴趣。本课中涉及的现在进行时对小学生都是一个难点。这个年龄阶段的孩子是很善于模仿的，于是我用旧知引出新知，由浅入深学生接受起来更容易。
三、教学目标
1、本课核心短语的正确朗读,理解。
2、掌握本课核心短语和单词，能运用 what is the girl/boy doing？ He /She is ...进行交流。
3、学会正确的理解现在进行时，并学会在动词后加ing

1、what is the girl/boy doing？ He /She is ...学习与交流。
2、学会正确的理解现在进行时，并学会在动词后加ing。
五、教学过程：
Step 1： Greeting
通过师生间的问候，能增进学生和老师的感情，也能创造良好的英语学习氛围。
Step 2：Let’s revise
出示图片让复习短语 making the bed, riding a bike, doing housework, putting away the clothes, doing some washing, cleaning the windows.（由一生带读其他学生跟读）
看着图片对话：what is the woman/man doing now？She/ He is...（师生对话，男女生对话，个别对话）
Step3： Game1: What can you see? (巩固短语)
Step4 ：Learn some new words
1、学习短语：clean the blackboard，clean the classroom，drink water，do word exercise，wait for a classmate, have a lesson.教师示范读，学生跟读。最后能流利读，明白短语的意思。
2、V + ing :把短语变成现在进行时cleaning the blackboard，cleaning the classroom，drinking water，doing word exercise，waiting for a classmate, having a lesson.先由学生自己加，然后交流学习成果，全班订正。最后在小组练习说短语。
Step5: Game2:根据图片出示的顺序来说新学的短语。（短语巩固）
Step6：学习对话 ：what is the girl/boy doing？ He /She is …（把所学的短语带进句子里）然后两人一组练习，抽生汇报。
Step7: Game3:Act and practice四人或五人一组，一个人表演其他人根据他（她）的表演对话。
Step8:复习巩固新知。
短语: clean the blackboard，clean the classroom，drink water，do word exercise，wait for a classmate, have a lesson.
句子：what is the girl/boy doing？ He /She is …
Step9: Homework:
1. Read the dialogue by yourself.
2. Act the dialogue with your partners.
