step 3 Language points in Project
Introduce and explain some language points to students.
1. Arrived here to find everything was in chaos.
= After I arrived here, I found everything was in chaos.

2. Many of the people have fled to the mountains to escape the floods.

step 4 Group discussion
Divide the students into different groups and set a topic for discussion.
Topic: Imagine that you will work in your community and help old people and children there. What will and can you do for them Discuss the topic with your group members and work out an action plan.
Then ask every group to write a plan about what they are going to do and how to put them into action.
Ask each group to present their plan to the whole class.
