1). Prediction: look at the pictures on Page 25 and predict what strange things happened to the wells, to the animals, to the sky, and to the sound.

Step 5 Post-reading
. Watch a video: Do you remember some big earthquakes which once happened in China
( invite one student to express his own opinions and feelings)
. Group work: work in groups of four to list some ways on self-rescue
Act out two scenes: indoor self-rescue and outdoor self-rescue
(invite five students to act out both the wrong ways of self-rescue and the correct ones)
