I. Pre-task preparation:
1.Greetings.
2. Let’s sing a song. How is the weather
3. Have some free talks.
What is the weather like today
What was the weather like yesterday
What did you do yesterday
4. T: I read a story yesterday. It was about a farmer. Do you like stories
Now, let’s listen to the story.
II. While-task procedure:
1.Ss look at the story and listen to the cassette.
2. Read and judge the sentences.
3. Look at the PPT. Learn the story paragraph by paragraph.
4. Listen to the whole story and read after the cassette.
5. Practice reading in groups.
6. Ask and answer.
7. Try to retell the story in groups.
8. Let’s have a writing race. Do the workbook Page 27.
9. T: Is the end of the story Let’s look at the picture. Can you say something about the picture
III. Post-task activity
