（1）表示经常性、习惯性的动作，常与always，usually，often,sometimes,every day等连用。

（2）表示主语的职业或具备的性格、能力等。
My mum teaches Chinese.我的妈妈教中文。(表示职业）

（3）表示客观事实或普遍真理。

（4）表示现在的状态。
