1、知识目标:
能够理解并在实际情景中运用句型What does she do She is a/an…;能够理解对话的内容并完成相应的练习
2、能力目标:
能够运用句型:What does she/he do ?询问他人的职业情况,并作出相应回答;培养学生的听说以及模仿表达能力;培养学生灵活运用交际用语的能力和知识的迁移能力。
3、情感、策略目标:
培养学生的积极交流与合作能力的竞争意识;教育学生要树立远大的理想,并为之努力拼搏。
教学重难点:
重点:熟练掌握并会运用句型What does she do She is a/ an…
难点:能够理解、认读句型“How exciting!”和“How does she go to Hong Kong She goes to Hong Kong by plane.”并在实际应用中作相应扩展。
教学准备:录音机,磁带, 多媒体教学课件
教学步骤设计
Step 1. Warm up
Let’s chant: 播放本单元Let’s chant录音,让学生听并说唱歌谣。
(设计意图:利用chant进行热身,营造英语学习的氛围,并复习职业话题的相关词句。)
Step 2. 任务呈现
参加“英语口语比赛”的评选活动,为自己制作“Family Show”参赛卡。
T:Hello,boys and girls, today let’s make the “Family Show” cards for yourself. We’ll choose the best cards and paste them on the wall newspaper.
(设计意图:首先交代任务,我们要参加 “英语口语比赛”的评选活动,请同学们为自己制作“Family Show”参赛卡,选出优秀作品还将被贴在墙报上。为文本的学习提供任务驱动。)
Step 3. 文本学习
1. 初识文本:听录音、整体感知
T:What will we write on the “Family Show ” Now let’s learn from the passage. This passage is about Wu Yifan’s family. (呈现课文插图)Look!Wu Yifan is talking about his family with Amy. What are they talking about Please listen to the tape and try to know.
教师播放对话录音,学生听录音,回答:They’re talking about Wu Yifan’s aunt and uncle. / Wu Yifan’s aunt is an actress. / …
(设计意图:整体呈现文本,学生初步学习,在听的过程中领会文本的大体内容。)
2.指导阅读,深入学习文本。
(1)T:We know, Wu Yifan is talking about his aunt and uncle with Amy. This time, please read the passage quickly, and try to finish the following questions: (呈现以下问题)
(2) Ss read it themselves and underline the key words or sentences.
学生自主阅读文本并用笔画出关键的词或句子,完成四个问题,然后同桌两人就如何找到答案的过程进行交流。
(3) 教师引导,在核对答案的过程中理解文本内容、培养阅读技巧。
T:Now, let’s check the answers of these questions.
a. First one,Who’s the beautiful woman
S1: She’s Wu Yifan’s aunt.
T: How do you know
S1: From here, Amy asks: “Who’s she ” Wu Yifan answers: “She’s my aunt.” Then Amy says “Wow! She’s really beautiful.”
T:Good job!
b. The second one, What does she do
Ss: She’s an actress.
T: How do you know
Ss: From here. Amy asks, “What does she do ” Wu Yifan answers, “She’s an actress on TV.”
T: Good job! “What does … do ” is used to ask someone’s job, and “She’s a / an …” is used to answer the job. (顺势板书这两句话:What does … do She’s / He’s an actress.)
c. 学生按上述方法汇报问题3和4的答案及解决过程。
课件呈现阅读提示:
Tip:If you want to know the answer of one question, you can circle or underline the key words or key sentences.


( 设计意图:通过阅读深入学习文本,在问题的引领下,引导学生逐步深入地了解文本内容。在解决问题的同时,培养学生用在文中寻找关键词、句的方法提高学生获取和处理信息的能力。在师生交流、生生交流的过程中,逐步掌握重点句子的语用功能。)
3. 再读文本,实践所学的阅读方法。
T:Please read the passage again, and try to finish the short passage.
学生自主阅读,完成短文填空练习。
The beautiful woman is Wu Yifan’s ______. She is an ________. Sometimes she works in ________, but sometimes she works in Hong Kong. She goes to Hong Kong by ____. Wu Yifan’s uncle is a ________. He writes the TV show for _______.
(设计意图:通过学生自主阅读,加深对文本的理解,以关键词填空的形式考察学生对文本的实际理解程度,实践阅读方法,并为下一步完成“Family Show”参赛卡的设计提供语言支架。)
4. Listen and repeat. 学生听录音并逐句跟读,模仿语音语调。
(设计意图:模仿跟读在高年级还是很有必要的,可以培养学生地道的语音语调。)
Step 4. Summary 师生总结,提炼核心语句
T:Just now, we knew some important sentences, how to use them When we ask someone’s job, we use the sentence …
Ss: What does … do
T: When we want to ask someone the way to go to work, we use …
Ss: How does he / she go to work
(设计意图:通过总结,帮助学生对本节课所学习的重点语言进行梳理,同时为下一步学生组内交流、完成任务进行铺垫。)
Step 5: 完成任务
1. Group work: 小组活动。小组内互相交流,谈论自己家庭成员的相关信息。为学生提供如下语句支持:
What does your father / your mother … do
How does he / she go to work
(以上为本课重点语句,以下是拓展语言。)
What’s his / her hobby
What’s he / she like

(设计意图:让学生运用所学的语言进行自主交流,初步落实语用目标。)
2. 动手制作,完成任务
让学生动手为自己制作出“Family show”参赛卡。
课件呈现制作卡片所需提示语:
This woman / man is my______. She’s / He’s tall and … She / He likes …She is a / an ________. He / She works in ________. She goes to work by ____ . …
Step 5:任务总结
请学生展示自己的作品,师生共同评选出最佳作品,课后张贴到墙报上。
