My
topic
is
the
using
language,
which
is
in
unit
3
book
2.
I
divide
my
speech
into
four
parts
namely
my
understanding
of
this
lesson;teaching
theories,
methods
and
aids;teaching
procedures
and
blackboard
design.
Now
let’s
start
with
part
1.
My
understanding
of
this
lesson:
1.
At
first
I’d
like
to
introduce
the
analysis
of
the
teaching
material.
This
lesson
is
using
language.
It
plays
a
very
important
part
in
the
English
teaching
of
this
unit.
It
focuses
on
the
students'
abilities
to
gather
information;
deal
with
information;
solve
problems
and
the
abilities
to
think
and
express
in
English.
By
studying
the
lesson,
the
students
can
improve
their
reading
ability;
learn
to
write
a
composition
of
a
robot.
Now
I’
ll
talk
about
my
teaching
aims
of
this
period
The
knowledge
aim
of
this
period
are
to
enable
the
students
to
master
some
useful
words
and
expressions
about
designing
a
robot.
The
ability
aim
is
students
can
write
a
passage
to
introduce
the
robot.
For
emotional
aims
I’ll
stimulate
the
students’
sense
to
use
creativity
and
imagination
in
their
study
and
develop
the
students’
sense
of
cooperative
learning.
In
my
opinion
the
teaching
important
point
in
this
period
is
how
to
improve
the
student’s
reading
ability.
The
teaching
difficult
point
for
the
students
is
how
to
understand
three
important
aspects
in
writing,
including
structure,
content,
and
language.
Now
let’s
focus
on
the
second
part
about
my
teaching
theories,
methods
and
aids:
When
I
deal
with
this
lesson,
I’ll
do
my
best
to
carry
out
the
theories
of
the
new
curriculum,
such
as
task-based
teaching
and
learning;
cooperative
learning
and
interactive
approach;
make
the
students
the
real
masters
in
class
while
I,
the
teacher
acts
as
director;
I
will
adopt
skimming
to
get
a
general
idea
of
the
text
and
scanning
to
get
the
detailed
information;
group
work
to
get
every
student
to
design
a
robot
of
their
group;
free
discussion
to
make
the
students
smooth
away
the
difficulties,
I’ll
make
full
of
modern
equipment
such
as
the
multi-media
and
tape
recorder
to
make
the
class
more
lively
and
interesting.
With
the
help
of
the
computer
and
courseware,
I
think
the
efficiency
of
the
class
will
be
greatly
improved.

the

to

the

especially

ability.

Lead-in
At
the
beginning
of
this
class,
I
will
play
a
short
video
about
the
robot.
Through
this
activity
I
can
arouse
the
students’
interest
of
study
and
bring
in
new
subject.
Step
2.
Fast
reading
Ask
the
students
to
read
the
passage
quickly
and
get
some
specific
information
about
Andy.
Guide
the
students
to
find
out
key
words
and
sentences.
By
doing
this,
I
will
train
the
students
for
fast
reading
skills
to
improve
the
students’
reading
ability
Step
3.
Careful
reading
The
students
are
required
to
focus
on
the
second
paragraph
to
sum
up
Andy’s
characters.
The
purpose
is
to
train
the
students
for
the
skills
of
summarizing.
Step
4.
Discussion
and
speaking
I
will
get
the
students
to
have
a
discussion
in
groups
to
design
a
robot
of
their
group
and
share
their
group’s
idea
in
front
of
class.
Step
5.
writing
Give
students
10
minutes
to
write
a
composition.
Step
6.
Homework
I
think
homework
is
important.
It
is
necessary
for
the
students
to
do
rewrite
their
composition
after
class
to
consolidate
the
knowledge
they
learned.
Also
it
will
set
some
bases
for
the
next
class.

4.
Blackboard
design
The
Blackboard
Design
is
to
let
the
students
have
a
clear
idea
to
get
the
main
content
of
this
period,
and
it
should
be
clear
and
artistic.
My
blackboard
design
is
like
a
robot.
On
the
left,
I
list
the
main
points
of
reading.
On
the
right
I
list
the
three
aspects
of
writing,
including
structure,
content
and
language.
