Recently,
the
Canadians
felt
so
surprised
about
a
Chinese
student,
because
he
had
bought
a
big
house
there.
It
cost
a
large
amount
of
money
and
the
student
needed
to
pay
off
the
debt
for
about
200,000
yuan
every
month.
The
media
tried
hard
to
search
for
more
information
about
the
student,
but
failed.
The
house
was
very
big
and
good,
and
it
was
equipped
with
all
kinds
of
amusements
and
cookers.
Its
former
owner
is
a
billionaire,
what's
more,
the
neighborhoods
are
all
big
shots.
The
Canadians
were
so
shocked
that
a
student
could
buy
the
house
that
none
of
them
could
afford.
They
even
doubted
whether
the
source
of
the
money
was
legal.
Last
century,
Chinese
economy
developed
so
fast.
Many
people
became
rich
and
made
their
children
live
a
good
life.
So
these
children
were
called
rich
second
generation,
most
of
whom
were
sent
to
study
abroad.
There
is
no
doubt
that
the
new
owner
of
this
house
must
have
a
rich
father,
who
can
support
him
to
buy
this
great
house.
The
Canadians
feel
so
full
of
envy
about
this
young
boy,
at
the
same
time,
they
are
very
impressive
of
the
development
of
Chinese
economy.

B
In
the
tenth
grade,
I
began
working
for
free
at
a
vet's
that
was
run
by
a
friend.
I
wanted
to
get
experience
for
what
I
thought
would
be
my
future
job.
However,
on
one
particular
Saturday
morning
I
learnt
something
perhaps
more
important.
The
hospital
was
in
the
middle
of
one
of
the
poorer
sections
of
the
city
and
some
people
could
only
pay
for
the
most
basic
treatments.
On
this
Saturday,
a
man
and
his
young
son,
who
was
probably
about
7
years
old,
walked
in
with
a
small
cat
in
a
cardboard
box.
There
was
something
wrong
with
the
cat's
left
eye.
But
the
man
could
not
afford
to
pay
for
the
cost
of
the
medicine.
He
kept
quiet
for
a
while,
and
then
he
asked
where
the
nearest
animal
shelter
was.
Hearing
this,
his
son
cried
and
started
to
argue
with
him.
All
of
a
sudden,
an
older
woman
who
was
sitting
in
the
waiting
room
stood
up,
walked
up
to
the
counter,
and
told
the
man
that
she
would
pay
for
the
cost.
The
man
thanked
her
and
the
son
got
to
keep
a
healthy
cat.
I
always
thought
it
was
the
right
thing
to
help
out
a
needy
person,
but
I
only
saw
people
do
acts
of
kindness
on
TV
or
in
movies.
What
the
woman
did
made
me
believe
that
these
things
do
happen
in
real
life,
and
quite
often.
Now,
when
I
can't
decide
whether
to
help
someone
who
is
in
need,
I
remember
this
woman,
and
then
I
have
the
courage
to
step
up
to
the
plate.
Sometimes
other
people
follow.
本文叙述了一位父亲和儿子来到我所工作的宠物医院给受伤的小猫治疗,但是没有足够的钱,另外一位女士帮助了他们。这给了我帮助他人的勇气,在这之后,只要遇见别人有困难,我都挺身而出去帮助对方。

most
probably
a
hospital
for

something
wrong
with
the
cat's
left
eye.”一位男士和他的儿子带着一只左眼受伤的小猫来到这里,说明这里是治疗动物的场所。故C正确。

his
friend.

Hearing
this,
his

27.What

to
the
man's

too
much
money.
答案:C
解析:推理判断题。根据第二段第六句“...Hearing

C
What
do
you
want
to
be
when
you
grow
up?
A
teacher?
A
doctor?
How
about
an
ice?cream
taster?
Yes,
there
really
is
a
job
where
you
can
get
paid
to
taste
ice
cream.
Just
ask
John
Harrison,
an
“Official
Taste
Tester”
for
the
past
21
years.
Testing
helps
manufacturers
to
be
sure
of
a
product's
quality.
During
his
career
Harrison
has
been
responsible
for
approving
large
quantities
of
the
sweet
ice
cream—as
well
as
for
developing
over
75
flavours
(味道).
Some
people
think
that
it
would
be
easy
to
do
this
job:
after
all,
you
just
have
to
like
ice
cream,
right?
No—there's
more
to
the
job
than
that,
says
Harrison,
who
has
a
degree
in
chemistry.
He
points
out
that
a
dairy
or
food?science
degree
would
be
very
useful
to
someone
wanting
a
career
in
this
“cool”
field.
In
a
typical
morning
on
the
job,
Harrison
tastes
and
assesses
60
ice?cream
samples.
He
lets
the
ice
cream
warm
up
to
about
12
?.
Harrison
explains,
“You
get
more
flavour
from
warmer
ice
cream,
which
is
why
some
kids
like
to
stir
it,
creating
ice?cream
soup.”
While
the
ice
cream
warms
up,
Harrison
looks
over
the
samples
and
grades
each
one
on
its
appearance.
“Tasting
begins
with
the
eyes,”
he
explains.
He
checks
to
see
if
the
ice
cream
is
attractive
and
asks
himself,
“Does
the
product
have
the
color
expected
from
that
flavour?”
Next
it's
time
to
taste!
Continuing
to
think
up
new
ideas,
try
out
new
flavours,
and
test
samples
from
so
many
kinds
of
ice
cream
each

D
Researchers
have
solved
a
long?standing
mystery:why
rocks
on
a
flat
lakebed
in
Death
Valley
National
Park
in
California
sometimes
move.
Racetrack
Playa(赛马场盐湖),
the
waterless
lakebed,
is
named
for
the
long
trails
(痕迹)
that
the
rocks,
some
of
which
weigh
hundreds
of
pounds,
leave
in
the
earth.
What
was
one
of
the
world's
natural
wonders
now
appears
to
be
the
perfect
combination
of
rain,
wind,
ice
and
sun,
scientists
have
found.
Dr
Norris
and
James
M.
Norris,
a
cousin
and
co?author,
actually
saw
the
rocks
moving
in
December
when
they
went
to
check
on
the
project.
For
their
study,
they
used
special
global
positioning
system
tools,
designed
by
James
Norris,
in
rocks
of
various
sizes
brought
from
outside
the
park.
They
were
not
allowed
to
move
or
change
anything
of
the
existing
playa
stones.
No
river
flows
into
the
playa,
though
rainwater
sometimes
fills
part
of
it
to
a
depth
of
a
few
inches.
It's
when
this
happens,
and
the
nights
are
below
freezing
and
the
days
are
fine,
that
the
rocks
may
“sail”,
the
researchers
said.
On
those
occasions,
the
cold
night
air
leaves
a
sheet
(薄片)
of
ice
only
an
eighth
of
an
inch
thick.
Then
the
warmth
of
the
sun
causes
the
sheet
to
break
up.
As
more
ice
melts
(融化),
some
of
these
lesser
sheets
have
room
to
move.
Driven
by
light
winds,
the
sheets
push
up
against
rocks.
The
wind
drives
the
water,
too,
which
also
helps
push
the
ice
to
some
degree.
The
movement
is
slow,
no
more
than
about
15
feet
a
minute.
The
movements
are
episodic—the
conditions
may
be
just
right
for
a
few
minutes,
and
then
the
sun
causes
more
ice
to
break
and
the
movement
stops.
And
once
the
water
disappears,
it
may
be
years
before
the
rocks
move
again,
even
if
the
playa
floods
again,
because
the
right
temperature
and
wind
conditions
may
not
occur.
本文是一篇说明文。美国加州的赛马场盐湖常年干旱,而上面的石头为什么会移动呢?科学家已经破解了这一自然之谜。
32.What
do
we
know
about
Racetrack
Playa?
A.It
has
flat
rocks
in
the
earth.
B.It
is
covered
by
rocks.
C.It
has
some
valleys.
D.It
is
usually
dry.
答案:D
解析:细节理解题。根据第一段中的“Racetrack
Playa(赛马场盐湖),
the
waterless
lakebed”和第四段中的“No
river
flows
into
the
playa”可知,赛马场盐湖经常是干涸的。
33.What
was
the
park's
attitude
to
using
GPS
in
the
lakebed's
stones?
A.It
doubted
the
method.
B.It
was
against
doing
so.
C.It
felt
it
was
worth
a
try.
D.It
thought
it
was
useless.
答案:B
解析:推理判断题。根据第三段中的“They
were
not
allowed
to
move
or
change
anything
of
the
existing
playa
stones.”可知,死亡谷国家公园不允许科学家在赛马场盐湖的石头上使用全球定位系统。
34.Why
do
the
stones
“sail”
according
to
the
Norrises?
A.They
are
moved
by
big
floods.
B.They
move
just
because
of
strong
winds.
C.They
are
mainly
pushed
by
wind?driven
ice.
D.They
move
very
slowly
on
smooth
ice
sheets.
答案:C
解析:细节理解题。根据第四段中的“Driven
by
light
winds,
the
sheets
push
up
against
rocks.”可知,两位科学家认为,石头周围形成的冰在风的作用下使得石头移动。
35.What
does
the
underlined
word
“episodic”
in
the
last
paragraph
probably
mean?
A.Amazingly
big.
B.Extremely
slow.
C.Happening
sometimes.
D.Going
on
without
stopping.
答案:C
解析:词义猜测题。由最后一段可知,能够让石头移动的条件非常特殊,很少出现,所以可推断episodic应该是“偶尔发生”的意思。

本文论述了积极心态的重要性和拥有积极心态的方法。
36.G 解析:上文是三个问句:你愿意与什么样的人在一起?是那些总是垂头丧气的人?还是那些总是设法看到事情积极一面的人?因此G项(人们喜欢和积极的人而不是消极的人在一起是意料之中的事)回答了上文提出的三个问题。
37.E 解析:上一句提到积极的心态可以在很多方面帮到你,下一句提到你的朋友会因为你的积极而真正地赞赏你,因此E项(如果有积极的心态,你就能给身边的人带去更多的快乐)承上启下,说明了积极心态带给周围的人的好处。
38.D 解析:上一段讲了积极心态给周围的人带去的好处,下一句提到压力越少,你的整体感觉就越好,因此D项(拥有积极的心态也能减少你的压力)在此承上启下。
39.B 解析:上一句提到拥有积极的心态不像把柠檬变成柠檬水那样简单,故B项(拥有积极的态度需要付出一些努力)符合语境。
40.C 解析:上一句提到要找出生活中不顺的事情,下一句提到一次只专注于一件事,并找到它积极的一面,因此C项(它们可能会使你产生消极的思想)在此承上启下。

本文是一篇记叙文。九岁的时候,作者开始感觉很压抑。但是没有人关注作者的情况,最后校长用倾听和拥抱让作者走出了困境。
56.a
解析:考查冠词。句意:我的父母亲注意到了但是感觉我一直都是一个好孩子,这种情况只是暂时的。不定冠词a可以修饰单数可数名词,表示泛指。所以要在good前面加a。
57.Unfortunately
解析:考查副词。句意:不幸的是,情况并不是这样。在英语里副词通常作状语修饰形容词、副词、动词或整个句子,形容词通常作定语或表语修饰名词。本句要用副词修饰整个句子,所以要填副词Unfortunately。
58.confidence
解析:考查名词。句意:深深的担忧开始毁掉我的自信。英语里动词的后面要接名词或代词作宾语,所以本句要填confident
的名词confidence,作destroy
的宾语。
59.shutting
解析:考查非谓语动词。句意:最终我拒绝上学,把自己锁在房间里好几个小时。动词shut与主语I构成主动关系,要用现在名词作状语,所以要填现在分词shutting。
60.were
解析:考查谓语动词。句意:我的父母和老师对我的坏的表现感到很吃惊。主语为复数,且形容的是过去的事,故填were。
61.depressed
解析:考查形容词。句意:在和父亲进行了一次严肃的交谈以后,我站在校门口,感觉十分压抑。句中用过去分词转换的形容词depressed
对主语I的状态进行说明,所以要填depressed。
62.of
解析:考查介词。句意:下面的四十五分钟是我人生中最珍贵的时刻之一。one
of...
表示“……之一”,所以要填of。
63.had_noticed
解析:考查时态。句意:她说她已经注意到我的巨大变化,想知道为什么会这样。校长注意到我的变化是在和我交流之前就发生的,要用过去完成时,所以要填had
noticed。
64.hers
解析:考查名词性物主代词。句意:起初她把我的手放在她的手里。名词性物主代词hers
指代“her
hands”,作介词in的宾语,所以要填hers。
65.who
解析:考查定语从句。句意:除了校长没有人想知道我的问题是什么,她通过倾听和拥抱就帮助我走出了困境。句中关系代词who指代先行词the
headmaster,引导定语从句并在句中作主语。所以要填who。

of
his
life,
he
was
dependent
on
medications
to
enable
him
to
survive.
When
he
was
five,
he
had
a
tube
surgically
inserted
in
a
vein
in
his
chest.
This
tube
was
connected
to
a
pump,
which
he
carried
in
a
small
backpack
on
his
back.
Medications
were
connected
to
this
pump
and
were
continuously
supplied
through
this
tube
to
his
bloodstream.
At
times,
he
also
needed
supplemented
oxygen
to
support
his
breathing.
Tyler
wasn't
willing
to
give
up
one
single
moment
of
his
childhood
to
this
deadly
disease.
It
was
not
unusual
to
find
him
playing
and
racing
around
his
backyard,
wearing
his
medicine?laden
backpack
and
dragging
his
tank
of
oxygen
behind
him
in
his
little
wagon.
All
of
us
who
knew
Tyler
marveled
at
his
pure
joy
in
being
alive
and
the
energy
it
gave
him.
Tyler's
mom
often
made
fun
of
him
by
telling
him
that
he
moved
so
fast
that
she
needed
to
dress
him
in
red.
That
way,
when
she
looked
through
the
window
to
check
on
him
playing
in
the
yard,
she
could
quickly
find
him.
答案
Paragraph
1:
This
deadly
disease
eventually
wore
down
Tyler.
He
gradually
grew
quite
ill,
and,
unfortunately,
his
mother
was
infected
with
HIV.
Tyler
wanted
to
do
many
things
in
his
life,
but
he
couldn't
because
of
the
disease.
When
it
became
clear
that
he
wasn't
going
to
survive,
Tyler's
mother
talked
to
him
about
death
and
asked
him
not
to
worry
about
the
deadly
disease.
She
comforted
Tyler
by
telling
him
that
she
was
dying,
too,
and
that
she
would
be
with
him
soon
in
heaven.
Paragraph
2:
A
few
days
before
his
death,
Tyler
called
me
over
to
his
hospital
bed
and
whispered,
“I
might
die
soon.
However,
I'm
not
scared.
When
I
die,
please
dress
me
in
red.
Mom
promised
that
she
was
coming
to
heaven
to
check
on
me,
too.
I'll
be
playing
when
she
gets
there,
and
I
want
to
make
sure
she
can
easily
find
me.”单元综合评估六(Units

In
the
tenth
grade,
I
began
working
for
free
at
a
vet's
that
was
run
by
a
friend.
I
wanted
to
get
experience
for
what
I
thought
would
be
my
future
job.
However,
on
one
particular
Saturday
morning
I
learnt
something
perhaps
more
important.
The
hospital
was
in
the
middle
of
one
of
the
poorer
sections
of
the
city
and
some
people
could
only
pay
for
the
most
basic
treatments.
On
this
Saturday,
a
man
and
his
young
son,
who
was
probably
about
7
years
old,
walked
in
with
a
small
cat
in
a
cardboard
box.
There
was
something
wrong
with
the
cat's
left
eye.
But
the
man
could
not
afford
to
pay
for
the
cost
of
the
medicine.
He
kept
quiet
for
a
while,
and
then
he
asked
where
the
nearest
animal
shelter
was.
Hearing
this,
his
son
cried
and
started
to
argue
with
him.
All
of
a
sudden,
an
older
woman
who
was
sitting
in
the
waiting
room
stood
up,
walked
up
to
the
counter,
and
told
the
man
that
she
would
pay
for
the
cost.
The
man
thanked
her
and
the
son
got
to
keep
a
healthy
cat.
I
always
thought
it
was
the
right
thing
to
help
out
a
needy
person,
but
I
only
saw
people
do
acts
of
kindness
on
TV
or
in
movies.
What
the
woman
did
made
me
believe
that
these
things
do
happen
in
real
life,
and
quite
often.
Now,
when
I
can't
decide
whether
to
help
someone
who
is
in
need,
I
remember
this
woman,
and
then
I
have
the
courage
to
step
up
to
the
plate.
Sometimes
other
people
follow.
本文叙述了一位父亲和儿子来到我所工作的宠物医院给受伤的小猫治疗,但是没有足够的钱,另外一位女士帮助了他们。这给了我帮助他人的勇气,在这之后,只要遇见别人有困难,我都挺身而出去帮助对方。

is
most
probably
a
hospital
for
________.
A.kids
B.the
poor
C.animals
D.women
25.For
what
purpose
did
the
writer
work
at
the
vet's?
A.To
help
out
his
friend.
B.To
make
some
pocket
money.
C.To
gain
some
work
experience.
D.To
learn
more
about
society.
26.What
would
the
man
probably
do
with
the
cat
if
the
woman
didn't
help
him?
A.Take
it
home
without
treatment.
B.Give
it
to
someone
on
the
street.
C.Give
it
to
the
woman.
D.Give
it
up.
27.What
can
we
learn
from
this
passage?
A.The
man
doesn't
like
keeping
a
cat.
B.The
older
woman
often
helps
people
out.
C.The
man's
son
didn't
agree
to
the
man's
first
decision.
D.The
hospital
often
asks
for
too
much
money.
C
What
do
you
want
to
be
when
you
grow
up?
A
teacher?
A
doctor?
How
about
an
ice?cream
taster?
Yes,
there
really
is
a
job
where
you
can
get
paid
to
taste
ice
cream.
Just
ask
John
Harrison,
an
“Official
Taste
Tester”
for
the
past
21
years.
Testing
helps
manufacturers
to
be
sure
of
a
product's
quality.
During
his
career
Harrison
has
been
responsible
for
approving
large
quantities
of
the
sweet
ice
cream—as
well
as
for
developing
over
75
flavours
(味道).
Some
people
think
that
it
would
be
easy
to
do
this
job:
after
all,
you
just
have
to
like
ice
cream,
right?
No—there's
more
to
the
job
than
that,
says
Harrison,
who
has
a
degree
in
chemistry.
He
points
out
that
a
dairy
or
food?science
degree
would
be
very
useful
to
someone
wanting
a
career
in
this
“cool”
field.
In
a
typical
morning
on
the
job,
Harrison
tastes
and
assesses
60
ice?cream
samples.
He
lets
the
ice
cream
warm
up
to
about
12
?.
Harrison
explains,
“You
get
more
flavour
from
warmer
ice
cream,
which
is
why
some
kids
like
to
stir
it,
creating
ice?cream
soup.”
While
the
ice
cream
warms
up,
Harrison
looks
over
the
samples
and
grades
each
one
on
its
appearance.
“Tasting
begins
with
the
eyes,”
he
explains.
He
checks
to
see
if
the
ice
cream
is
attractive
and
asks
himself,
“Does
the
product
have
the
color
expected
from
that
flavour?”
Next
it's
time
to
taste!
Continuing
to
think
up
new
ideas,
try
out
new
flavours,
and
test
samples
from
so
many
kinds
of
ice
cream
each
day
keeps
Harrison
busy
but
happy—working
at
one
cool
job.
本文主要介绍了一种很特殊的工作:冰激凌品尝员,以及一些与这份工作有关的信息。

Researchers
have
solved
a
long?standing
mystery:why
rocks
on
a
flat
lakebed
in
Death
Valley
National
Park
in
California
sometimes
move.
Racetrack
Playa(赛马场盐湖),
the
waterless
lakebed,
is
named
for
the
long
trails
(痕迹)
that
the
rocks,
some
of
which
weigh
hundreds
of
pounds,
leave
in
the
earth.
What
was
one
of
the
world's
natural
wonders
now
appears
to
be
the
perfect
combination
of
rain,
wind,
ice
and
sun,
scientists
have
found.
Dr
Norris
and
James
M.
Norris,
a
cousin
and
co?author,
actually
saw
the
rocks
moving
in
December
when
they
went
to
check
on
the
project.
For
their
study,
they
used
special
global
positioning
system
tools,
designed
by
James
Norris,
in
rocks
of
various
sizes
brought
from
outside
the
park.
They
were
not
allowed
to
move
or
change
anything
of
the
existing
playa
stones.
No
river
flows
into
the
playa,
though
rainwater
sometimes
fills
part
of
it
to
a
depth
of
a
few
inches.
It's
when
this
happens,
and
the
nights
are
below
freezing
and
the
days
are
fine,
that
the
rocks
may
“sail”,
the
researchers
said.
On
those
occasions,
the
cold
night
air
leaves
a
sheet
(薄片)
of
ice
only
an
eighth
of
an
inch
thick.
Then
the
warmth
of
the
sun
causes
the
sheet
to
break
up.
As
more
ice
melts
(融化),
some
of
these
lesser
sheets
have
room
to
move.
Driven
by
light
winds,
the
sheets
push
up
against
rocks.
The
wind
drives
the
water,
too,
which
also
helps
push
the
ice
to
some
degree.
The
movement
is
slow,
no
more
than
about
15
feet
a
minute.
The
movements
are
episodic—the
conditions
may
be
just
right
for
a
few
minutes,
and
then
the
sun
causes
more
ice
to
break
and
the
movement
stops.
And
once
the
water
disappears,
it
may
be
years
before
the
rocks
move
again,
even
if
the
playa
floods
again,
because
the
right
temperature
and
wind
conditions
may
not
occur.

would
you
rather
hang
around
with?
Someone
who
always
acts
in
low
spirits?
Or
someone
who
manages
to
see
the
good
around
him,
even
when
things
aren't
always
going
great?
__36__
Having
a
positive
attitude
can
help
you
in
many
ways.
__37__
Your
friends
will
definitely
appreciate
you
more
if
you
see
the
silver
lining
rather
than
just
the
dark
clouds!
__38__
The
less
pressure
you
feel,
the
better
you
will
feel
overall.
So
if
you've
been
feeling
tired,
put
on
a
happy
face
and
you
just
might
feel
better
soon.
But
how
can
you
have
a
positive
attitude
when
life
is
hard?
It's
more
than
just
turning
life's
lemons
into
lemonade.
__39__
But
it's
worth
it.
A
positive
attitude
doesn't
mean
ignoring
life's
troubles.
It
just
means
looking
for
the
good
in
things,
rather
than
being
a
pessimist
and
concentrating
on
the
bad
in
things.
Sometimes
your
attitude
can
make
all
the
difference.
Identify
(识别)
those
areas
of
your
life
that
might
not
be
going
so
well.
__40__
Focus
on
one
at
a
time
and
think
of
ways
you
can
find
the
positive
in
things.
A.The
answer
is
to
have
a
positive
attitude.
B.Having
a
positive
attitude
can
take
some
hard
work.
C.They
are
likely
to
make
you
have
negative
thoughts.
D.Having
a
positive
attitude
can
also
reduce
your
stress
level.
E.If
you
have
a
positive
attitude,
you're
more
fun
to
be
around.
F.When
you
feel
better
physically,
you
naturally
feel
better
mentally.
G.It's
no
surprise
that
people
enjoy
being
around
positive
people
rather
than
negative
people.

In
my
dual
(双重的)
profession
as
an
educator
and
health
care
provider,
I
have
worked
with
a
lot
of
children
infected
with
the
virus
that
causes
AIDS.
The
relationships
that
I
have
had
with
these
special
kids
have
been
gifts
in
my
life.
They
have
taught
me
so
many
things,
but
I
have
especially
learned
that
great
courage
can
be
found
in
the
smallest
package.
Let
me
tell
you
about
Tyler.
Tyler
was
born
infected
with
HIV.
From
the
very
beginning
of
his
life,
he
was
dependent
on
medications
to
enable
him
to
survive.
When
he
was
five,
he
had
a
tube
surgically
inserted
in
a
vein
in
his
chest.
This
tube
was
connected
to
a
pump,
which
he
carried
in
a
small
backpack
on
his
back.
Medications
were
connected
to
this
pump
and
were
continuously
supplied
through
this
tube
to
his
bloodstream.
At
times,
he
also
needed
supplemented
oxygen
to
support
his
breathing.
Tyler
wasn't
willing
to
give
up
one
single
moment
of
his
childhood
to
this
deadly
disease.
It
was
not
unusual
to
find
him
playing
and
racing
around
his
backyard,
wearing
his
medicine?laden
backpack
and
dragging
his
tank
of
oxygen
behind
him
in
his
little
wagon.
All
of
us
who
knew
Tyler
marveled
at
his
pure
joy
in
being
alive
and
the
energy
it
gave
him.
Tyler's
mom
often
made
fun
of
him
by
telling
him
that
he
moved
so
fast
that
she
needed
to
dress
him
in
red.
That
way,
when
she
looked
through
the
window
to
check
on
him
playing
in
the
yard,
she
could
quickly
find
him.
