Suppose your good friend is going back to London.He/She invites you to his/her goodbye party.Imagine you are at the party.You meet his/her friends at the party.His/Her friends are from all over the world.Have a good conversation with his/her friends at the party.

1.Show the new words.Lead the students to learn the new words and expressions.Ask them to make sentences with the new words and expressions:soon,invite,everyone,London,capital,U.K.,go back to,have a big goodbye party,all of his friends,come/be from,the capital of,a lot of,at the party.

2.Work in pairs.Try to make dialogues with the new words,expressions and patterns.Then ask some pairs to act them out.

1.Suppose you have a goodbye party.Who do you ask to your party?What do you do for the party?Write a passage and share it with your group members.
After a few minutes,ask all the groups to give a report.Choose the good ones to praise them.
