一、教学设想
本课主要内容是学会四会单词season , spring , summer , autumn , winter , hot , cold , 掌握四会句型How is the weather today ? It’s …以及三会单词sunny ,cloudy , rainy ,windy , warm , cool ;能在情境中正确操练句型What is your favourite season ? My favourite season is … . Why ? Because I can …;能简单了解四季常识,以及家乡四季的气候。教师通过图片、提问及游戏的方式让学生掌握主要内容。
二、教学目标
(一)知识与能力
1、了解一年的四季,认知一年四季的表达。
2、学习描绘春、夏、秋、冬的天气状况,掌握其句型和用法,能够进行熟练的表达。
(二)过程与方法
1、带领学生进入四季的话题,进入本课主题。
2、探讨一年四季的天气状况,学习基本句型和用法。
(三)情感、态度与价值观
1、讨论天气是西方文化的重要部分,通过本课学习对西方文化有所了解。
2、通过本课的学习,学生可以了解和掌握相关知识以更好地进行英语日常交流,提高英语表达能力。
3、激发和保持学生学习英语的兴趣,实现“趣能”两得。
三、教学重难点及突破
(一)重点
掌握使用下列单词及重点句子。
1、单词:weather , warm , windy , sunny , cloudy , snowy , rainy , hot , season , year , spring , summer , autumn , winter
2、重点句子
There are four seasons in a year .
How is the weather ? It’s …
What’s your favourite season ? My favourite season is …
What weather do you like ?
(二)难点
综合所学知识,灵活熟练的描述不同季节和天气。
(三)教学突破
通过运用小组合作的课堂练习,通过游戏给学生创设具体的情景,使学生能够熟练掌握所学知识。

五、教学设计
Step 1 : Class opening (导入)

设计意图:通过这个环节激发学生学习兴趣,提高学习积极性。

设计意图:通过这个环节让学生了解一年四季的表达,为本课接下来的学习做好铺垫。
?Step 2 : New concepts(探究新知)
1.学习Seasons of the year 部分
(1)Show the words of the seasons ,then the teacher leads to read .Next ,ask sb reads one by one .
(2)Ask the Ss to make up dialogues :
S1:How many seasons are there in a year ?What are they ?
S2: …
(3)Ask sb to show in pairs .
(4)Show some pictures of the seasons( winter,spring,summer,fall\autumn ) ,then ask :Which season do you think ? The Ss answer by themselves .
(5)Ask sb to practice the dialogue in pairs :
S1: Which season do you think ?
S2: …
(6)The teacher and the Ss ask and answer :
T: How many months are there in a year ?
S:
T: Can you say all the months in English ?
S: January December .(The Ss say the months one by one )
(7)Show the months of the year ,then the teacher leads to read the words together .
(8)Ask a student to be a teacher and let him\her lead to read the words .(two students )
(9)Let the Ss to remember the words in their hearts , then ask them to read one by one .
(10)Learn another song : The months .First let the Ss listen carefully , then let them follow the tape to sing together .
设计意图:这部分主要是通过大量的对话练习、小组展示来学习巩固季节、月份的表达,然后通过动画歌曲来结束这部分的学习,又一次激发学生的学习兴趣,使枯燥的学习变得更加有趣。
2.学习How is the weather ?部分
(1)T: We have learned seasons and months .Do you know the weather ?(Ss: Yes ) Open your books ,turn to page 62 . Please look at the screen and listen to the tape .
(2)Follow the tape to read .
(3)Let the Ss read part 2 with their partner .
(4)Ask and answer in groups :
S1: How is the weather in spring\summer\ autumn\winter ?
S2: The weather is .
(5)Show some pictures and ask Ss to make up dialogues .Then ask them to act in the front of the classroom .
S1: How is the weather ?
S2:It’s ….
(picture 1: rainy ; picture 2: sunny and windy ; picture 3 : snowy )
(6) T: What’s your favourite season ?
? ?S: ….
?? T: Why ?
?? S: Because ….
Then the teacher makes a summary about the seasons and the weather .
(7)Let Ss practice the dialogue in pairs :
S1: What’s your favourite season ?

(8) Make a survey . First the teacher makes a model .The teacher is a journalist .
T: Can I ask you some questions ?
S: Yes .
T: What’s your favourite season ?

Then let them practice the dialogue in big groups .
(9)Let some groups show their dialogue .
设计意图:这部分通过图片展示练习、记者活动游戏进行有关天气表达的学习,寓教于乐,学生在轻松地学习过程当中对知识进行掌握。
Step 3 : Practice (拓展练习)
1.Show a short passage on the screen :The months of the year .
Then the Ss look and listen .(twice)
2.Show some Western festivals and let the Ss match the months . Work in groups .
3.The teacher say out the western festivals in English ,and the Ss say them out in Chinese .Then ask and answer :
T: When is … (the western festivals) ?
S: It’s in …(the months )
4.Let the Ss make up dialogue :
S1: When is … ?
S2: It’s in ….
5.Practice the dialogue between the teacher and the Ss .
设计意图:这部分拓展练习主要是针对西方的节日展开的。通过这部分的练习,让学生对于西方的节日文化有了了解。
Step 4 : Class closing (知识小结)
1.T: In this class , we have learned four seasons ,do you know what they are ?
Ss: Spring\summer\autumn\winter .
T: How can we ask sb about the weather ?
Ss: How is the weather ?
T: If we want to describe the weather ,we can say ….( Ss say out the words about the weather .)
设计意图:回顾总结,反复练习,加深记忆。
2.Have a rest : Enjoy the seasons .Show some pictures and enjoy the music .
Step 5 :Homework(家庭作业)
Write a short composition : My favourite season .字数在50词左右
设计意图:通过这份作业,学生能够对本节课的学习内容有了一个知识梳理,并能综合运用。
