B
My
mother
always
said,
“You
young
men
should
explore
your
own
country
before
stepping
out
into
the
world.”
It
seemed
like
a
tough
task.
But
luckily
for
me,
Via
Rail
Canada
offered
youths
between
the
ages
of
18
and
25
the
chance
to
ride
the
train
across
Canada
for
the
month
of
July
in
2017.I
jumped
at
the
opportunity
and
secured
an
inexpensive
ticket.
Excitement
was
at
its
peak
as
I
approached
the
train
station
on
the
morning
when
my
22-day
adventure
was
to
begin.
I
jumped
on
board
the
passenger
vessel
(车厢)like
it
was
the
train
to
Hogwarts
in
Harry
Potter.
The
train
headed
west
in
search
of
our
first
destination
—
the
scenic
town
of
Banff,
Alberta.
After
just
an
hour
on
the
train,
desperation
already
came
on
me.
The
thought
of
three
full
days
on
those
tracks
broke
my
spirits.
As
I
gazed
out
towards
Lake
Superior’s
glistening
(闪闪发亮)waves,
I
decided
if
I
was
to
be
stuck
in
here,
I
would
need
to
enjoy
my
time.
Those
three
days
turned
into
a
summer
camp
on
rails.
Real
friendships
with
the
crew
were
born
within
that
train.
Stops
were
made
in
small,
remote
railroad
villages.
A
large
group
of
strangers
turned
travelling
companions
would
rush
towards
the
villages
to
reward
our
endless
patience
with
local
cuisine.
At
night,
we
would
walk
to
the
glass-domed
(玻璃穹顶)train
car,
which
gave
a
scenic
view
of
the
night
sky,
untouched
by
light
pollution.
After
three
days,
we
arrived
in
Banff.
Before
my
adventure
of
taking
the
train
across
Canada,
if
I
could
have
skipped
the
travel
and
arrived
at
the
destination,
I
would
have.
But
that
is
no
longer
true.
I’ve
learned
that
the
journey
can
be
more
enjoyable
than
the
destination.

such

Li
Ziqi.
On

she
won
Person

in
the

awarded
by

a
fan
base
of
more
than
21

Li
has
made
a
name
for
herself
in
a
series
of
videos
that
show
off
a
pre-industrial
Chinese
way
of
life
in
rural
Sichuan
province.
“I
want
to
do
my
part
to
let
more
people

about
Chinese
culture,”
the
blogger
told
China.org.cn.
“Much
of
the
popularity
of
my
videos
owes
to
the
attraction
of
Chinese
culture.”
Li
seems
to
be
a
master
of
all
kinds
of
skills—cooking,
painting,
designing
and
farming.
She
raises
silkworms
to
sew
a

and
grows
plants.
Many
videos
show
her
picking
seasonal
ingredients
from
her
own
garden
and
cooking
them
up
with
her
wood-fired
work.
A
warm
bowl
of
soup
for
the
winter,
a
lighter
plate
of
noodles
for
the
summer,
Li
follows
the
seasons
in
her
cooking,
as
China’s
traditional
24
solar
terms
also
do,
and
makes
food
suitable
for
the
particular

“She
told
the
stories
of
China’s
culture
and
that
of
China.”
the
official
Sina
Weibo
account
of
China
Central

noted.
The
success
of
Li
Ziqi
also
comes
from
her
“passion
for
life,
for
her
home
and
for
her
culture”.
Indeed,
Li’s
simple
pleasures
amaze
people
living
in
the
hustle
and
bustle
of
big
cities.
“She
leads
a
life
that
many

of,
but
don’t

to
give
up
their
current
life
in
exchange
for,”
iFeng.com
wrote.
Her
handmade
lifestyle
is
a
fantasy
for
many.
“In
today’s
society,
many
feel
stressed,”
she
told
the
South
China
Morning
Post.
“When
they
watch
my
videos
at
the
end
of
a
busy
day,
I
want
them
to
relax
and
experience
something
nice,
to

some

their
anxiety
and
stress.”

C.
The

life
B.

11.
Which
of
following
statements
does
Li
ziqi
probably
agree?
A.
Life
in
the
countryside
is
more
challenging
than
in
big

B.
Traditional

C.

in
mind
makes
life
happier
and
easier.
D.
Learning
how
to
cook
seasonally
is
essential
for
survival
in
the
countryside.
D
Few
people
can
resist
the
lure
(诱惑)
of
a
delicious
ice
cream,
especially
on
a
hot
day.
The
only
thing
that
spoils
the
fun
is
that
the
treat
is
hard
to
enjoy
slowly
often
ending
up
with
a
sticky,
melted
mess.
Now,
researchers
from
Colombia's
Pontificia
Bolivariana
University
may
have
found
an
unlikely
partner
to
help
solve
this
age-old
problem-
cellulose
fiber
(纤维素)
extracted
from
banana
plant
waste.
Bananas,
as
you
probably
know,
grow
in
bunches
on
a
tree-like
plant.
Each
bunch
is
attached
to
a
central
stalk,
called
a
rahis
(叶轴),which
is
thrown
once
the
fruit
has
been
harvested.
The
team,
led
by
Dr.
Rotin
Zuluaga
Gallego,
began
by
extracting
cellulose
nanofibrils
(CNs)
from
powdered
rachis.
The
tasteless,
odorless
macro
fibers,
thousands
of
times
smaller
than
the
width
of
a
human
hair,
were
then
added
in
various
concentrations
to
100
grams
of
ice
cream
mix.
With
the
right
amount
of
CNFs
mixed
in,
the
dessert
lasted
longer
in
its
frozen
state
than
conventional
ice
cream,
extending
both
its
shelf
life
and
the
amount
of
time
the
treat
can
be
enjoyed.
Even
more
exciting
was
that
the
fibers
increased
the
stickiness
of
low-fat
ice
cream
to
levels
higher
than
the
full-fat
one.
Since
this
is
what
determines
the
frozen
treat's
creaminess
and
texture,
CNFs
could
help
create
healthier
ice
cream
without
compromising
on
taste.
The
researchers,
who
presented
their
findings
at
the
American
Chemical
Society
(ACS)
meeting
in
New
Orleans
on
March
21,
2018,
next
plan
to
investigate
how
different
types
of
fat,
such
as
coconut
oil,
affect
the
behavior
of
CNFs
in
other
frozen
treats.
The
Colombian
researchers
are
not
the
only
one
working
on
creating
a
slower-melting
ice
cream.
In
2015,
scientists
at
the
University
of
Dundee
in
Scotland
found
that
a
naturally
occurring
protein
called
BSIA
(Bacterial
Surface
Layer
A)
was
remarkably
effective
in
keeping
the
treat
frozen
for
longer
periods
of
time.
With
both
teams
competing
to
be
the
first
to
get
to
market,
the
future
of
everyone's
favorite
dessert
certainly
looks
promising
12.
What
prevents
people
enjoying
an
ice
cream
slowly?
A.
A
kind
of
fiber
from
banana.
B.
The
ice
cream's
stickiness.
C.
The
hot
weather.
D.
The
ice
cream's
quick
melting.
13.
Why
were
CNFs
added
to
ice
cream
mix?
A.
To
improve
is
flavor.
B.
To
reduce
its
fat
content.
C.
To
make
it
melt
more
slowly.
D.
To
add
to
its
nutrition.
14.
What
can
be
inferred
from
the
last
paragraph?
A.
Ice
cream
with
BsIA
has
been
on
sale
at
the
market.
B.
Slowly
enjoying
an
ice
cream
will
soon
become
a
reality.
C.
CNFs
are
more
useful
and
effective
than
BslA.
D.
The
Colombian
research
team
has
taken
the
lead
in
the
competition
with
the
Scottish
team.
15.
What's
the
author's
attitude
towards
the
finding
of
CNFs?
A.
Positive.
B.
Casual.
C.
Defensive
D.
Suspicious.

B
My
mother
always
said,
“You
young
men
should
explore
your
own
country
before
stepping
out
into
the
world.”
It
seemed
like
a
tough
task.
But
luckily
for
me,
Via
Rail
Canada
offered
youths
between
the
ages
of
18
and
25
the
chance
to
ride
the
train
across
Canada
for
the
month
of
July
in
2017.I
jumped
at
the
opportunity
and
secured
an
inexpensive
ticket.
Excitement
was
at
its
peak
as
I
approached
the
train
station
on
the
morning
when
my
22-day
adventure
was
to
begin.
I
jumped
on
board
the
passenger
vessel
(车厢)like
it
was
the
train
to
Hogwarts
in
Harry
Potter.
The
train
headed
west
in
search
of
our
first
destination
—
the
scenic
town
of
Banff,
Alberta.
After
just
an
hour
on
the
train,
desperation
already
came
on
me.
The
thought
of
three
full
days
on
those
tracks
broke
my
spirits.
As
I
gazed
out
towards
Lake
Superior’s
glistening
(闪闪发亮)waves,
I
decided
if
I
was
to
be
stuck
in
here,
I
would
need
to
enjoy
my
time.
Those
three
days
turned
into
a
summer
camp
on
rails.
Real
friendships
with
the
crew
were
born
within
that
train.
Stops
were
made
in
small,
remote
railroad
villages.
A
large
group
of
strangers
turned
travelling
companions
would
rush
towards
the
villages
to
reward
our
endless
patience
with
local
cuisine.
At
night,
we
would
walk
to
the
glass-domed
(玻璃穹顶)train
car,
which
gave
a
scenic
view
of
the
night
sky,
untouched
by
light
pollution.
After
three
days,
we
arrived
in
Banff.
Before
my
adventure
of
taking
the
train
across
Canada,
if
I
could
have
skipped
the
travel
and
arrived
at
the
destination,
I
would
have.
But
that
is
no
longer
true.
I’ve
learned
that
the
journey
can
be
more
enjoyable
than
the
destination.
4.

ticket
offer
for
youths.
D.

determination
to
face
the
tough
tasks.
5.

did
the
author
experience
after
one
hour
on
the
train?
A.
Great
joy.
B.
A
dream-like
trip.

Unrealistic
hopes.

【解析】
本文是记叙文。文章讲述了作者的旅行经历,作者的心态从盼望快速到达目的地转变为关注旅途中的快乐。
【4题详解】
细节理解题。根据第一段中“But

the

Rail
Canada公司为18至25岁之间的年轻人提供了在2017年7月乘火车穿越加拿大的机会。作者抓住这个机会并获得了一张便宜的火车票。因此Via
Rail
Canada公司为青少年提供的限时的火车票使作者的火车之旅成为了可能。故选C。
【5题详解】
细节理解题。根据第二段中的“After
just
an

on
the
train,
desperation
already
came
on
me.
The
thought
of
three
full
days

【6题详解】
推理判断题。根据第二段中的“As
I
gazed
out
towards
Lake
Superior’s
glistening
waves,
I
decided
if
I
was
to

three
days
turned
into
a
summer

on
rails.
Real
friendships
with
the
crew
were
born
within
that
train.”可知,当作者凝视苏必利尔湖畔闪闪发光的海浪时,作者决定如果要呆在这里,我需要享受我的时间。那三天变成了铁轨上的夏令营。与乘务员的真正友谊源于那列火车。由此可知,作者想办法度过在火车上的时间,使自己充满快乐。因此“适应性强”最能恰当地描述作者。故选B。
【7题详解】
细节理解题。根据最后一段中的“I’ve
learned
that
the
journey
can
be
more
enjoyable
than
the
destination.”可知,作者明白了关注旅途中的快乐比盼望到达目的地更有趣。即作者明白了要在旅行中去探索更多的快乐。故选D。

这是一篇新闻报道。文章介绍了12月14日,获得了《中国新闻周刊》颁发的文化影响力年度人物——李子柒。她通过一系列展示前工业时代中国四川农村生活方式的视频而一举成名,李子柒对中国文化的热爱让她的视频在国内外如此成功。

Few
people
can
resist
the
lure
(诱惑)
of
a
delicious
ice
cream,
especially
on
a
hot
day.
The
only
thing
that
spoils
the
fun
is
that
the
treat
is
hard
to

slowly
often
ending
up
with
a
sticky,

mess.
Now,
researchers
from
Colombia's
Pontificia
Bolivariana
University
may
have
found
an
unlikely
partner
to
help
solve
this
age-old
problem-
cellulose
fiber
(纤维素)
extracted
from
banana
plant
waste.
Bananas,
as
you
probably
know,
grow
in
bunches
on
a
tree-like
plant.
Each
bunch
is
attached
to
a
central
stalk,
called
a
rahis
(叶轴),which
is
thrown
once
the
fruit
has
been
harvested.
The
team,
led
by
Dr.
Rotin
Zuluaga
Gallego,
began
by
extracting
cellulose
nanofibrils
(CNs)
from
powdered
rachis.
The
tasteless,
odorless
macro
fibers,
thousands
of
times
smaller
than
the
width
of
a
human
hair,
were
then
added
in
various
concentrations
to
100
grams
of
ice
cream
mix.
With
the
right
amount
of
CNFs
mixed
in,
the
dessert
lasted
longer
in
its
frozen
state
than
conventional
ice
cream,
extending
both
its
shelf
life
and
the
amount
of
time
the
treat
can
be
enjoyed.
Even
more
exciting
was
that
the
fibers
increased
the
stickiness
of
low-fat
ice
cream
to
levels
higher
than
the
full-fat
one.
Since
this
is
what
determines
the
frozen
treat's
creaminess
and
texture,
CNFs
could
help
create
healthier
ice
cream
without
compromising
on
taste.

The
