备课标
英语语法中的时态是一种动词形式，不同的时态用于表现不同的时间和方式，其中一般过去式在初中八大时态之一，占有重要的地位，在七年级学习了一般现在时和现在进行时之后，用了两个单元学习一般过去式，八年级上册第一单元综合复习过去式时。而且在我们平时的语言表达中会出现很多用一般过去时的情况，而且是学习现代完成时、过去完成时和被动语态的基础，只有扎扎实实的掌握了一般过去时，为后面的时态学习扫除知识障碍，才能顺利的进行其他三种时态的学习。而且新课程标准要求倡导体验、实践、参与、交流与合作的学习方式，强调学生能用英语做事情。《课程标准》以描述学生“能做什么”为主线，强调学生要能用所学的英语做事情，在做事情的过程中发展语言能力、思维能力以及交流与合作的能力。语言学习要从语法讲解中和单词的死记硬背中解脱出来，要通过创设良好的语言环境和提供大量的语言实践的机会，使学生通过自己的体验、感知、实践、参与和交流，形成语感；在教师的引导下，通过观察、发现和归纳等方式，掌握语言的规律，形成有效的学习策略，通过交流与合作发展交流与合作的能力。
二、教材分析：
一般过去时是在学生学习了一般现在时、现在进行时的基础上学习，它是学习现在完成时，过去进行时和过去完成时的基础，因此一般过去时，在初中阶段就显得尤为重要，是学生必须掌握的，在常见的几种时态和语态中起着桥梁和纽带的作用。
在七年级下册用了两个单元学习一般过去时，让学生对一般过去时有了清晰地认识，八上第一单元回顾提升一般过去时的用法，让学生在过完暑假后谈论暑期的活动，以此能够学以致用。
新课程强调教学过程是师生交往，共同发展的互动过程。在复习一般过去时中，要处理好归纳知识与培养能力的关系，注意培养学生的独立的归纳能力，引导学生质疑、调查、探究，使复习成为在教师指导下主动的、富有个性的掌握知识归纳过程。
学情分析：
学生存在的普遍性问题：
作为农村的学生生活经验体验比较少，对于第一单元度假这话题，在新授课时他们只是停留在待在家里看书，玩手机，做作业这几项内容，很少有同学有外出游玩的经历体验。而且学生对于一般过去时，对学习和表达都存在着很大的问题:
做题时习惯性凭感觉选择答案，不会结合语境，分析句意，即使句子中出现了很明显的标志词，也会写错。
2.写句子时，只是把最基本东西所表达出来，动词时态基本不对。
3.不规则动词表，对于每个学生来说，比较困难，要花大力气进行背诵检查，逐一落实。
