教材简析 本单元谈论的话题是日期，并围绕这一主题进行听、说、读、写等教学活动。通过对月份、序数词及相关词汇和短语的学习和运用，学生们可以掌握询问某人生日的方法，并能学会如何安排自己的业余生活，做时间的主人。这一话题非常贴近学生们的日常生活，因此可以很容易提高他们的学习兴趣，并且通过对本节课语言知识的运用，学会关心他人，增强与人沟通的能力。 本节课是本单元SectionA部分的第一课时(1A-2C) Section A以When is your birthday 为线索，重点呈现日期的表达，包括12个月份的名称及序数词的学习。学生在之前已经学习并巩固了基数词的用法，在小学阶段也接触过序数词及日期的基本表达法，为本节课的学习奠定了基础。
