一、教材分析
本课是人教版新目标英语八年级上册Unit5 Can you come to your party Section A第一课时,关于sectionA 1a-2c部分。
本单元教学以发出邀请、接受邀请、拒绝邀请为话题,主要应掌握会句型:
①Can you… ,Sure , I'd love to.
②I'm sorry, I can't.
③I have to…
④学习情态动词can和can't的用法。
这个话题与学生实际生活有关,贴近学生实际生活。我的教学思路是:从生活中的话题入手,设计任务,层层推进,激发学生继续学习的兴趣,培养学生综合运用语言的能力。
二、教学设计说明
Go for it 新目标英语,实行的是新课程标准,采用的是任务型语言教学(Task–Based Language Teaching)模式,教学设计和教学过程,应充分发挥学生的主体地位,教师的主导作用,创造设计切实可行的真实的语言交际情景和任务,让学生体验、实践、使用目标语,进行交际和解决问题——完成任务,让学生传达信息和体验成就感,增加兴趣,真正落实教学情景化和教学步骤交际化原则,落实在做中学、用中学、学中用的原则.
本单元学生将要学习礼貌地发出、接受、拒绝邀请,谈论自己必须做的事情,并合理安排自己的活动。新课程教学过程应从注重学生的学习兴趣,生活经验和认知水平出发,倡导学生亲自体验,亲自实践,积极参与,合作与交流的学习方式和任务型的教学途径,发展学生的思维和综合语言运用的能力,使语言学习的过程成为学生主动思维和大胆实践、提高文化素养和培养学生自主学习能力的过程。
三.学情分析
学生是学习的主体,初二学生经过一年多系统的英语学习,具备了一定的基础和听说能力,正逐步向读,写过渡,通过一年多新课程理念的熏陶和实践,有了初步自主合作, 分析归纳的能力。并处于知识积累,前后知识衔接,培养良好的学习习惯的关键时期。大部分学生对英语有一定兴趣,但由于知识的安排由浅入深,有少数学生对这门学科产生了厌恶心理,消除学生厌学情绪,激发学习兴趣显得至关重要。
教师要正确引导学生学习谈论在日常生活中的邀请和应答,培养口语交际的目标,加强听说能力和交际能力的培养。并且学会日常交往中的礼节,与他人友好相处,增强友谊。
四、教学目标
语言目标:学生通过本课学习,能够学会如何邀请别人,如何接受以及如何礼貌的拒绝别人的邀请的句型及方法。?
能力目标:能够听懂邀请人与被邀请人的两方对话的内容并可以运用“Can you… ”“Yes,I’d love to”等来进行简单邀请及被邀请的对话。如果谢绝邀请,还会运用“ Sorry,I have to…”等来阐明理由。?
情感目标:通过邀请别人和接受或谢绝别人邀请交际活动,增进人与人之间情感,拉近人和人之间的距离,从小就培养学生的交流能力.
五.教学重点难点:
教学重点: Make accept and decline invitation.
教学难点: How to accept and refuse invitation.
六.实现教学目标的策略与方法
1.教法:新课标倡导教师地位转变,是课程的引导者和参与者。我灵活运用情境创设法,任务型教学法,问答法,比较法,合作学习法,诵读法,自主参与法,评价法,鼓励鞭策法等多种方法逐步引导,层层深入,尽可能多挖掘学生潜力,使师生,生生极好配合。
2.学法:学生以自主参与,合作交流为主,形成共识。
3、教学手段
多媒体辅助:将本课所需要的动画、录音、图片、文字、图表和音乐制成CAI软件,使抽象的语言变得直观,为学生运用英语进行交际创设情景,实现师生互动,生生互动和人机互动的多向交流。
4、预习导航:
(1)读记5单元Section A单词,完成1a 任务。
(2) 听1b 、2a、2b录音,完成听力任务,记录未听懂之处。
七、教学过程设计
Step1. Free talk and Revision: (演示文稿.ppt 连接)
1. Show a flash “It’s a party time.” And then do a free talk.
(1)T: What’s the weather like today
S: It’s….
(2)T: What are you doing

2. Review some phrases:
(1). T: Now let’s find what they are doing. Look at the pictures and say out the phrases.

(2). Look at 1a and match the phrases with the right pictures.
(课前播放与本课相关的flash动画,引起学生对本课内容的学习兴趣。通过free talk与复习环节巩固学过知识,为新知识的讲授打下良好基础。)
Step2. Presentation (演示文稿.ppt 连接)
1. T: This is Mary. She is having a birthday party this evening. And she wants to invite some friends and you are her friends.
----Can you come to her party
S: ……
T: If you want to go, you should say : ---Sure, I’d love to. / Certainly.
Ask several students to answer.
If you will go to her party : What do you have to wear
What do you have to buy
What do you have to say
Show some examples about the negative answers about: “Can you come to… ” And practice with the teacher.
Watch a short video carefully and try to answer the question :

2. 2a ( 2a.mp3 ):listen and circle can or can’t.

播放第一遍录音,学生边听边做2a练习。.然后,核对答案,师问学生整体回答的形式完成。
3. Listen to 2b ( 2b.mp3 ) and number the reasons why they can’t go to the party.

(上个环节对新授句型进行了充分的复习和巩固,再经过这一环节的听力练习,目标语言得到更进一步地巩固。并且通过这部分的听力练习让学生能更加灵活自如地运用本单元所学知识来解决问题。)

Step6. Group work:
1. Choose one party (Halloween party/ birthday party / dancing party) and invite your friends. Find out who can come, who can’t come. Then fill in the chart.(选一晚会,并邀请你的同伴参加。找出谁能来,谁不能来。然后再把姓名,是否能来以及理由写在表格里。)

六、教后反思
本节课采用了任务型和合作交流的学习策略,利用多媒体现代教学技术来展开课堂Pairwork问答式的口语交际活动,谈论邀请和应答,同时进行听力训练,重在培养学生口语交际能力,谈论如何应答别人的邀请。发出邀请和应答是日常交往中常见的,所以在活动的设计上我注重贴进学生生活实际,通过Pairwork和groupwok活动,可以再现日常生活中的交往,联系实际,很自然的与任务型教学联系起来,也很容易的掌握can 和can’t得用法,同时复习了很多动词词组。通过Pairwork和groupwok活动的方式,增强了相互间的友谊,并且能够使学生与人坦诚友好的相处,。

一、教材分析
本节课的教学内容是Section A 3a、 3b、4,其语言目标是主要是学习谈
如何邀请别人(talk about invitations),以及如何回应别人的邀请:欣然接受或委婉拒绝并且学会写邀请函。学会在集体交往中有理有节,如果自己有任务,要学会说“不”,并讲明理由,学会表达谢意和歉意。
二、设计理念:
1、本单元的教学活动始终遵循任务型教学的教学理念,以学生为学习的主体,以任务为中心,在运用语言完成任务的过程中来学习,体会和掌握语言。
2、自始自终贯穿了以交际为目的的原则(在做中学,在学中用)。
3、在教学过程中,关注学生的生活实际和生活体验,让其贴近实际、贴近生活、贴近时代,树立以学生为本的思想,提倡学生参与、体验、亲身实践、独立思考、合作探究,从而实现教学方式和学习方式的转变。
三、教学目标
1. 知识目标:通过各种形式的操练,让学生能够熟练地运用目标语言提 出 邀请和表达自己意愿。本课学习的内容具有很强的实用性,因此在活动的设置上,会从日常生活中取材。并且基于学生在英语学习方面的困难,让学生们互相帮助、交流,从而学到更多提高英语水平的好方法。
2. 能力目标:引导学生充分进行探究,交流与讨论等教学活动,培养他们的钻研与合作精神。可以在现实生活中,灵活运用所学知识与人交流。
3. 情感目标: 让学生在学习中巩固英语思维模式,并能够生动准确流利地表达自己的想法,提高交际能力。看到自己的语言实践能力提高后,学生的学习兴趣自然也会提升,从而形成英语学习的良性循环。
四、 教学重难点
1. 语法:邀请朋友参加聚会的相关句型。
2. 能够自如的运用句型邀请朋友,并且学会写邀请卡。
五、教学手段:
运用多媒体辅助教学,将本课所需要的录音、图片、文字制成PPT课件,使抽象的语言变得直观,为学生运用英语进行交际创设情境,让学生感知学习的快乐。
预习导航:
1.记熟Section A重点词汇及发出邀请、接受邀请、拒绝邀请结构及句式。
2预习3a,3b,完成任务;复习星期的英语单词。

Task 1:列举出拒绝邀请的几种表达法,如:I have a violin lesson. I have to go to the doctor. I’m going shopping 检查所学。
Task 2:创设情景让几位学生邀请他人参加,这必然会用到上节课所学,再次口头上巩固所学,同时提供交流机会,让学生展示自己,有成就感,从而提高兴趣,学生既复习旧知识,又提高了口语交际能力。

课后反思:
本课的教学比较成功,学生在完成任务的过程中能够将所需要的语言进行熟练的运用。达到了教师预期的教学目标。语言学习具有很强的实践性,学生用外语交际的能力只有通过大量的语言实践活动才能得到培养和提高。新的英语课程标准倡导任务型教学模式,让学生积极地进行体验参与。英语课堂教学应该遵从这一原则,注重语言的实践性特征及学生的体验性和实践性,使学生真正成为教学过程的主体。
