Central

one
of
the
largest
city

in
the
world
and
one
of
the
most
famous
symbols
of
New
York.Let's
have
a
look
at
its
main
sights.
Central
Park
is
New
York's
largest
city
park
and
one
of
the
biggest
in
the

with
an
area

park
is

to
man-made

and
wooded
areas.You
will
also
find
the
Central
Park
Zoo,

to
get
a
general
feel
for
the
whole
park,
the
best
thing
to
do
is
to
hire
a
bicycle
and
enjoy
the
scenery.If
you
decide
to
hire
a
bike,
you
will
find
lots
of

B
In
the
past
70
years,
physical
activity
in
America
has
transformed
from
a
necessity
of
daily
life
into
an
often-expensive
leisure(闲暇)activity,
and
has
reformed
itself
as
the
basis
of
people's
social
position."In
the
1950s
and
1960s,
the
body
became
a
problem,
and
exercise
developed
—
it
had
to
develop-because
people
realized
that
we
were
all
going
to
die
of
heart
attacks,"
Shelly
McKenzie,
the
author
of
Getting
Physical:
The
Rise
of
Fitness
Culture
in
America,
told
me.
With
new
middle-class
needs
coming
into
new
marketing,
Jack
LaLanne!s
instructional
exercise
TV
show
introduced
much
of
the
country
to
the
active
pursuit
of
physical
fitness
in
1951,
paving
the
way
for
workout
tapes
from
fitness
superstars
such
as
Richard
Simmons
and
Jane
Fonda.In
the
1970s,
exercise
began
to
leave
the
home,
both
through
the
popularization
of
jogging
and
weightlifting
and
in
more
organized
ways,
such
as
Jazzercise
classes.
No
matter
how
they
package
it,
these
businesses
aren't
just
selling
physical
activity;
they're
providing
people
with
a
way
to
stick
to
expectations
that
the
industry
itself
helped
set."Exercise,
and
especially
public
exercise,
came
to
indicate
mental,
emotional,
and
even
spiritual
health
and
virtue,"
Marc
Stern
wrote
in
2008,"
In
return
for
the
effort,
gym-goers
attain(获得)the
type
of
body
that
proves
their
virtue
to
all
who
see
them.”
That
these
physical
standards
are
difficult
to
achieve
is
the
point."We
live
in
a
culture
in
which
being
diligent
is
highly,
highly
praised,"
Petrzela,
the
New
School
professor,
who
is
working
on
a
book
about
fitness's
place
in
American
culture,
told
me.
“Many
people
want
to
be
regarded
as
people
who
value
exercise,
because
it
shows
they're
committed
to(致力于)self-improvement,
and
to
hard
work."Above
and
beyond
movement
itself,
part
of
the
satisfaction
of
gym-going
comes
from
performing
those
values
around
other
people
who
share
them,
and
from
achieving
what
that
community
regards
as
success.
4.
Why
did
exercise
develop
in
the
1950s
and
1960s?
A.
Because
exercise
was
a
necessity
of
daily
life.
B.
Because
people
realized
the
importance
of
body
health.
C.
Because
exercise
was
an
often-expensive
leisure
activity.
D.
Because
people
regarded
exercise
as
the
foundation
of
people's
social
position.
5.
Why
do
many
people
like
going
to
gym
according
to
Marc
Stern?
A.
To
keep
healthy.
B.
To
gain
good
body
shape.
C.
To
show
their
good
character.
D.
To
prove
their
social
position.
6
What
do
NOT
make
people
gain
satisfaction
from
going
to
the
gym?
A.
Seeing
some
superstars
in
the
gym.
B.
The
same
values
around
other
people.
C.
Achieving
success
defined
by
that
group
of
people.
D.
Being
regarded
as
people

like
an
average

not
until
you

you
learn
that
Luna
is
anything
but
average.
Born

(缺陷)called
dextrocardia,
Luna
has
had

when
Luna
was
approached
by
athletic

company
Saucony
to
design
a
shoe
for
sale
across
the
country,
it
came
as
quite
a
surprise.
“This
is
so
incredible.I
got
to
use
my
art
and
creativity
for
something
new
that
I'd
never
thought
I'd

Luna
said.She

one
of
six
patients
from
Boston
Children's
Hospital
(BCH)
who
have
partnered
with
Saucony
to
design
their
own
shoes
to
launch
the

campaign.
“Rather
than
just
a
donation,
we
wanted
to
create
an
experience
and
a
moment
that
would
raise
not
only
money,
but
also
awareness
to
highlight
all
the
amazing
work
that's
being
done
at
BCH,"
says
Chris,
Saucony's
vice
president."Specifically,
we
wanted
to
give
some
of
the
BCH
kids
an
opportunity
to
share
their
stories
and
their
talents
with
the
world.”
Luna's
design
is
fashion."On
the
tongue,
they
digitalized(使数字化)one
of
my
drawings,
and
then
on
bottom
it's
a
really
bright
pink
color,
and
on
the
inside,
the
sole
of
the
shoe
is
actually
another
drawing
I
did
of
a

she
said."Thinking
about
kids
everywhere
around
the

which

through
personalized

programs
tailored
for
each
individual
patient's
heart
condition.
“It
feels
really
good
to
help
people
and
it's
really
something
I
can
relate
to,"
says
Luna."The
advice
I
would
give
a
kid
or
someone

me
is
never
giving
up.There
are
a
lot
of
kids
out
there
with

you're

laughs
best.
B.
Where
there
is

there
is
hope.
C.
Helping
others
is
helping
ourselves.
D.
Stick
to
your
dream
even
if
there
are
difficulties.
D
There's
plenty
of
video
evidence
on
social
media
about
some
urban
wildlife
during
pandemic
lockdown(疫情封锁).And
while
it's
been
for
tragic,
costly
reasons,
we
have
to
stop
the
human
activity
all
over
the
world
for
a
while.
On
an
increasingly
crowded
planet,
wildlife
scientists
think
that
this
will
have
some
important
effects.The
only
way
to
measure
that,
though,
is
with
lots
of
bio-loggers.
Professor
Christian
Rutz,
University
of
St
Andrews
said
that
a
bio-logger
is
a
small
electronic
device
that
can
record,
store
and
in
some
cases
automatically
send
information,
so
that
information
could
be
positional
information,
from
which
we
can
find
out
through
satellite(卫星)
tracking
where
an
animal
goes
and
what
it's
up
to.
Through
using
the
labor-saving
equipment,
researchers
can
get
much
information.For
example,
the
information
about
more
than
1500
birds'
movements
and
migrations
(迁徙)was
recorded
by
those
bio-loggers
over
a
decade
effortlessly.
However,
studying
human
absence
is
more
tricky."One
famous
study
in
the
Chernobyl
exclusion
zone
that
I
visited
with
scientists
last
year,
has
shown
how
nature
took
over
a
landscape
that
was
abandoned
after
the
nuclear
disaster."
Professor
Christian
Rutz
said.
Now,
in
dozens
of
ongoing
studies,
wildlife
researchers
have
their
bio-loggers
on
animals
from
African
elephants
to
migrating
birds,
and
some
of
that
data
has
been
automatically
uploaded
throughout
lockdown.Scientists
do
the
research
by
focusing
on
the
behaviour
of
animals
without
the
presence
of
human.
Professor
Christian
Rutz
told
BBC:
"And
so
this
is
really
a
golden
opportunity
to
research
this
relationship
between
humans
and
wildlife
and
we
hope
that
this
project
will
inspire
us
to
make
plans
for
the
future
and
there
are
some
very
useful
suggestions
that
could
come
out
of
this.”
This
lockdown
has
been
at
huge
human
and
economic
cost,
which
is
why
scientists
say
it's
important
to
maximize
what
we
can
learn
from
lockdown,
about
how
to
share
the
space
we
have
with
many
other
animals.
12.
Which
is
not
the
function
of
bio-loggers?
A.
storing
information
of
animals
B.
recording
information
of
animals
C.
tracking
the
position
of
animals
D.
sharing
information
of
animals
on
the
public
media
13.
What
does
the
underlined
word
“tricky"
in
paragraph
5
refer
to?
A.
unique.
B.
difficult.
C.
shallow.
D.
common.
14.
What
is
the
purpose
of
ongoing
studies
in
paragraph
6?
A.
To
research
how
bio-logger
is
used
on
animals.
B.
To
prove
that
animals
can
not
live
without
humans.
C.
To
research
how
the
absence
of
human
affects
animals.
D.
To
prove
that
bio-logger
is
effective
to
send
the
information.
15.
What
can
we
infer
from
the
passage?
A.
Protecting
wildlife
is
a
wise
choice.
B.
Wildlife
might
benefit
from
lockdown.
C.
Bio-loggers
are
widely
used
during
the
lockdown.
D.
It
doesn't
matter
whether
we
stop
human
activity
or
not.

stressful
and
difficult
to
meet,
you’ll
become
discouraged
and
may
quit
your
studies
as
a
result
.On
the
other
hand,
if
your
current
goals
do
not
challenge
you
enough,
you
may
become
bored
and
quit
your
studies
because
of
that.
2.____18____
Formal
English
classes
work
well
because
they
are
led
by
professional
teachers.
Trust
your
English
instructor.
Don’t
be
afraid
to
make
mistakes
or
ask
questions;
correcting
you
and
answering
those
questions
are
part
of
your
instructor’s
job.
Besides,
when
learning
English
informally,
try
to
work
in
small
groups
instead
of
large
groups.
Smaller
crowds
may
make
you
feel
more
comfortable
and
less
embarrassed.
3.Be
confident.
Don’t
be
afraid
of
making
mistakes
when
you
practice
your
English.____19____When
you
don’t
feel
confident,
review
the
progress
you’ve
already
made
with
your
English
studies.
By
realizing
how
much
you’ve
already
accomplished,
you
might
feel
encouraged
to
continue
improving
yourself.
4.Keep
practicing.
Practice
consistently.
If
you
do
not
study
or
review
past
lessons
on
a
regular
basis,
you
might
forget
about
the
information
you
learned.
Regular
practice
is
the
only
way
to
remember
English
on
a
long-term
basis.____20____
No
one
can
fluently
speak
or
write
English
after
only
studying
for
a
few
months,
and
you
will
probably
need
to
study
for
at
least
one
or
two
years
before
you
can
hold
conversations
in
English.
It
will
probably
take
an
even
longer
amount
of
time
before
your
English
sounds
natural
and
fluent.
A.
Study
with
others.
B.
Change
your
goals
if
you
need
to.
C.
Learn
from
professional
teachers.
D.
So
set
the
small
goals
first
and
try
to
achieve
them.
E.
Below
is
some
advice
on
how
to
improve
your
spoken
English.
F.
Don’t
be
discouraged
about
how
long
the
process
of
practice
takes.
G.
If
you
stop
yourself
from
practicing
because
you
feel
insecure
about
your
current
skill
level,
you
won’t
be
able
to
improve.

【详解】1.细节理解题。根据第一段第二句“In
the
1950s
and
1960s,
the
body
became
a
problem,
and
exercise
developed
—
it
had

2.细节理解题。根据第三段最后一句“Exercise,
and
especially
public
exercise,
came
to
indicate
mental,
emotional,
and
even
spiritual
health
and
virtue,"
Marc
Stern
wrote
in

Stern)在2008年写道:“锻炼,尤其是公共锻炼,可以显示出精神、情感、甚至精神上的健康和美德。作为回报,去健身房的人能获得一种体型,向所有看到他们的人证明自己的美德。”)可知,Marc
Stern认为很多人喜欢去健身房是为了表现出他们良好的品格。故选C。
3.细节理解题。根据最后一段““Many
people
want
to
be
regarded
as
people
who
value
exercise,
because
it
shows
they're

people's
social
position.”(在过去的70年里,体育活动在美国已经从日常生活的必需品变成了一种经常花费不菲的休闲活动,并且已经转变为人们社会地位的基础。)讲述了体育活动的在美国的发展,第二句“it
had
to
develop-because
people
realized
that
we
were
all
going
to
die
of
heart
attacks”(它必须发展——因为人们意识到我们都将死于心脏病发作)讲述了这种发展出现的原因。接下来的段落都在讲述原因。所以文章主要是关于为什么体育运动在美国发展起来。故选C。

D
There's
plenty
of
video
evidence
on
social
media
about
some
urban
wildlife
during
pandemic
lockdown(疫情封锁).And
while
it's
been
for
tragic,
costly
reasons,
we
have
to
stop
the
human
activity
all
over
the
world
for
a
while.
On
an
increasingly
crowded
planet,
wildlife
scientists
think
that
this
will
have
some
important
effects.The
only
way
to
measure
that,
though,
is
with
lots
of
bio-loggers.
Professor
Christian
Rutz,
University
of
St
Andrews
said
that
a
bio-logger
is
a
small
electronic
device
that
can
record,
store
and
in
some
cases
automatically
send
information,
so
that
information
could
be
positional
information,
from
which
we
can
find
out
through
satellite(卫星)
tracking
where
an
animal
goes
and
what
it's
up
to.
Through
using
the
labor-saving
equipment,
researchers
can
get
much
information.For
example,
the
information
about
more
than
1500
birds'
movements
and
migrations
(迁徙)was
recorded
by
those
bio-loggers
over
a
decade
effortlessly.
However,
studying
human
absence
is
more
tricky."One
famous
study
in
the
Chernobyl
exclusion
zone
that
I
visited
with
scientists
last
year,
has
shown
how
nature
took
over
a
landscape
that
was
abandoned
after
the
nuclear
disaster."
Professor
Christian
Rutz
said.
Now,
in
dozens
of
ongoing
studies,
wildlife
researchers
have
their
bio-loggers
on
animals
from
African
elephants
to
migrating
birds,
and
some
of
that
data
has
been
automatically
uploaded
throughout
lockdown.Scientists
do
the
research
by
focusing
on
the
behaviour
of
animals
without
the
presence
of
human.
Professor
Christian
Rutz
told
BBC:
"And
so
this
is
really
a
golden
opportunity
to
research
this
relationship
between
humans
and
wildlife
and
we
hope
that
this
project
will
inspire
us
to
make
plans
for
the
future
and
there
are
some
very
useful
suggestions
that
could
come
out
of
this.”
This
lockdown
has
been
at
huge
human
and
economic
cost,
which
is
why
scientists
say
it's
important
to
maximize
what
we
can
learn
from
lockdown,
about
how
to
share
the
space
we
have
with
many
other
animals.
12.
Which
is
not
the
function
of
bio-loggers?
A.
storing
information
of
animals
B.
recording
information
of
animals
C.
tracking
the
position
of
animals
D.
sharing
information
of
animals
on
the
public
media
13.
What
does
the
underlined
word
“tricky"
in
paragraph
5
refer
to?
A.
unique.
B.
difficult.
C.
shallow.
D.
common.
14.
What
is
the
purpose
of
ongoing
studies
in
paragraph
6?
A.
To
research
how
bio-logger
is
used
on
animals.
B.
To
prove
that
animals
can
not
live
without
humans.
C.
To
research
how
the
absence
of
human
affects
animals.
D.
To
prove
that
bio-logger
is
effective
to
send
the
information.
15.
What
can
we
infer
from
the
passage?
A.
Protecting
wildlife
is
a
wise
choice.
B.
Wildlife
might
benefit
from

C.
Bio-loggers

said.”可知,去年,我和科学家们在切尔诺贝利禁区进行了一项著名的研究,显示了自然是如何接管核灾难后被遗弃的土地的,”克里斯蒂安·鲁兹教授说。这说明研究人类的缺席则更为棘手。由此可知画线词词义为“棘手、困难”,故选B。
3.细节理解题。根据第六段最后一句“Scientists

English
and
improve
their
communication
skills
these
days.
They
know
exactly
what
they
need
in
today's
highly-globalized
world.___16___
1.Set
goals.
Small
steps
are
easier
to
work
through.
For
example,
if
learning
40
new
words
each
month
seems
tough,
tell
yourself
to
learn
10
new
words
each
week.
The
smaller
goal
might
be
easier
to
work
toward.___17___
For
example,
if
your
current
goals
are
too
stressful
and
difficult
to
meet,
you’ll
become
discouraged
and
may
quit
your
studies
as
a
result
.On
the
other
hand,
if
your
current
goals
do
not
challenge
you
enough,
you
may
become
bored
and
quit
your
studies
because
of
that.
2.____18____
Formal
English
classes
work
well
because
they
are
led
by
professional

Trust
your
English

Don’t
be
afraid
to
make
mistakes
or
ask
questions;
correcting
you

Besides,
when

try
to
work

you
don’t
feel
confident,
review
the
progress
you’ve

【解析】
这是一篇说明文。现在每个人都想学习英语,提高他们的沟通技巧。他们清楚地知道在当今高度全球化的世界中他们需要什么。文章主要介绍了一些提高英语口语的建议。
【16题详解】
根据上文“Everybody
wants
to
learn
English
and
improve
their
communication
skills
these
days.
They
know
exactly
what
they
need
in
today's
highly-globalized
world.(现在每个人都想学习英语,提高他们的沟通技巧。他们清楚地知道在当今高度全球化的世界中他们需要什么)”结合后文介绍了四条提高英语口语的建议,故E选项“下面是一些关于如何提高英语口语的建议”符合语境,故选E。
【17题详解】
根据上文“Set
goals.
Small
steps
are
easier
to
work
through.
For
example,
if
learning
40
new
words
each
month
seems
tough,
tell
yourself
to
learn
10
new
words
each
week.
The
smaller
goal
might
be
easier
to
work
toward.(设定目标。小的目标更容易完成。例如,如果每个月学习40个新单词似乎很难,那就告诉自己每周学习10个新单词。较小的目标可能更容易为之努力)”以及后文“For
example,
if
your
current
goals
are
too
stressful
and
difficult
to
meet,
you’ll
become
discouraged
and
may
quit
your
studies
as
a
result
.On
the
other
hand,
if
your
current
goals
do
not
challenge
you
enough,
you
may
become
bored
and
quit
your
studies
because
of
that.(例如,如果你目前的目标压力太大,很难实现,你会变得灰心丧气,结果可能会放弃你的学习。另一方面,如果你目前的目标不能给你带来足够的挑战,你可能会变得无聊并因此放弃学习)”可知,上文提到了设立目标,后文则提到了目标压力太大可能会放弃和目标不够挑战性的情况,可推知,本句是在建议如有需要,可以改变目标。故B选项“如果需要的话,改变你的目标”符合语境,故选B。
【18题详解】
根据后文“Formal
English
classes
work
well
because
they
are
led
by
professional
teachers.
Trust
your
English
instructor.
Don’t
be
afraid
to
make
mistakes
or
ask
questions;
correcting
you
and
answering
those
questions
are
part
of
your
instructor’s
job.
Besides,
when
learning
English
informally,
try
to
work
in
small
groups
instead
of
large
groups.
Smaller
crowds
may
make
you
feel
more
comfortable
and
less
embarrassed.(正式的英语课之所以有效,是因为有专业的老师带领。相信你的英语老师。不要害怕犯错误或问问题;纠正你并回答这些问题是老师工作的一部分。此外,在非正式学习英语时,试着在小团体中学习,而不是大团体。较小的人群可能会让你觉得更舒服,不那么尴尬)”可知,后文提到了加入小团体,说明本段主要是建议和他人一起学习。故A选项“与他人一起学习”符合语境,故选A。
19题详解】
根据上文“Be
confident.
Don’t
be
afraid
of
making
mistakes
when
you
practice
your
English.(要自信。练习英语时不要怕犯错误)”以及后文“When
you
don’t
feel
confident,
review
the
progress
you've
already
made
with
your
English
studies.
By
realizing
how
much
you've
already
accomplished,
you
might
feel
encouraged
to
continue
improving
yourself.(当你不自信的时候,回顾一下你在英语学习上已经取得的进步。意识到你已经完成了多少,你可能会感到有勇气继续提高自己)”可知,本段主要是建议学习口语要自信,后文提到不自信的时候应该怎么办,可推知本句是在说明对自己目前水平感到不自信的情况,G选项中improve对应后文中improving
yourself。故G选项“如果你因为对自己目前的技能水平感到不安而停止练习,你就不可能提高”符合语境,故选G。
【20题详解】
根据上文“Keep
practicing.
Practice
consistently.
If
you
do
not
study
or
review
past
lessons
on
a
regular
basis,
you
might
forget
about
the

learned.
Regular
practice
is
the
only
way
to
remember
English
on
a
long-term
basis.(继续练习。坚持练习。如果你不定期学习或复习过去的课程,你可能会忘记所学的知识。有规律的练习是长期记住英语的唯一方法)”以及后文“No
one
can
fluently
speak
or
write
English
after
only
studying
for
a
few
months,
and
you
will
probably
need
to

English.
It
will

take
an

before
your
English
sounds
natural
and
fluent.(没有人能在仅仅学习几个月后就流利地说或写英语,你可能需要至少学习一年或两年才能用英语进行对话。要让你的英语听起来自然流利,你可能需要更长的时间)”可知,本段主要是在建议坚持练习,且上下文都提到了需要花费很长时间是正常的,可推知本句是在说明不要因为练习的时间过长而气馁,F选项中practice与上文中practice相对应。故F选项“不要因为练习的过程需要很长时间而气馁”符合语境,故选F。

这是一篇说明文。文章对如何构造良好的亲子关系进行了阐述。
【详解】1.考查动名词。句意:众所周知,积极的亲子关系有利于孩子的身心成长,但保持健康的亲子关系需要双方的努力。作谓语动词needs的主语应用动名词形式。故填keeping。
2.考查动词不定式作定语。句意:父母应该负起责任来改善他们与孩子的关系。修饰抽象名词responsibility应用to
do不定式作后置定语。故填to
improve。
3.考查固定搭配和介词。句意:例如,他们可以一起吃饭,一起去看体育比赛或一起看孩子们最喜欢的电视节目,而不是争吵,这可以使他们的孩子感到安全和被爱。for
instance意为“例如”,为固定搭配。故填For。
4.考查名词。句意:例如,他们可以一起吃饭,一起去看体育比赛或一起看孩子们最喜欢的电视节目,而不是争吵,这可以使他们的孩子感到安全和被爱。冠词an后应用名词。故填argument。
5.考查现在完成时。句意:另一方面,孩子们应该让父母知道他们感激父母这些年来为他们所做的一切。根据时间状语these
years可知,此处应用现在完成时。故填have
done。
6.考查状语从句。句意:如果他们遇到困难/当他们遇到困难时,他们可以向父母求助,因为父母就像朋友一样,他们的支持是可以依靠的。根据后文“they
can
turn
to
their
parents
for
help”(他们可以向父母求助)可知,此处为条件或时间状语。故填If/When。
7.考查定语从句。句意:如果他们遇到困难/当他们遇到困难时,他们可以向父母求助,因为父母就像朋友一样,他们的支持是可以依靠的。定语从句中support缺少定语表示“……的”,先行词为friends。故填whose。
8.考查冠词和固定搭配。句意;但只要父母和孩子共同努力,解决矛盾,他们一定会享受在一起的时光。make
an
effort
(to
do
sth)意为“努力(做某事)”,为固定搭配。此处joint的开头发音为辅音,故填a。
9.考查时态和被动语态。句意;但只要父母和孩子共同努力,解决矛盾,他们一定会享受在一起的时光。as
long
as引导的时间状语从句中,遵循主将从现原则,所以此处应为一般现在时。conflict(矛盾)和settle(解决)构成被动关系。故填is
settled。
10.考查副词。句意;但只要父母和孩子共同努力,解决矛盾,他们一定会享受在一起的时光。修饰动词enjoy应用副词。故填definitely。

短文续写
Albert
was
mad
about
computer
games.He
could
spend
hours
and
hours
in
front
of
the
screen,
and
even
though
his
parents
found
it
hard
to
believe,
he
really
enjoyed
every
minute
of
it.He
hardly
left
his
seat.When
people
encouraged
him
to
get
involved
with
normal
life,
he
would
respond:
"This
is
my
doorway
to
the
world,
there
is
much
more
here
than
you
realize."
Among
all
his
games
there
was
one
he
especially
liked.In
it
he
would
move
a
character
around,
collecting
turtles(乌龟)on
an
infinity(无限)of
levels
and
screens.He
was
a
real
expert
at
it.Maybe
there
was
no
one
else
in
the
world
who
had
collected
as
many
turtles
as
he
had,
but,
nevertheless,
Albert
still
wanted
more
and
more
and
more...
One
day,
when
he
got
home
from
school,
everything
had
changed.As
usual,
as
soon
as
he
arrived,
he
ran
to
his
room
to
switch
the
computer
on.But
this
time
he
heard
some
strange
noises,
like
breaking
glass.Suddenly
the
screen
broke,
and
from
inside
came
dozens,
then
hundreds,
then
thousands
of
little
turtles.And
they
filled
every
square
inch
of
his
bedroom.Albert
was
astonished.He
couldn't
believe
what
was
happening.But
after
pinching(掐)himself,
he
shut
down
and
started
the
computer
up
many
times,
and
called
to
his
parents
to
see
if
he
was
dreaming
about
this.As
it
happened,
he
had
to
accept
that
on
that
day
something
very
strange
was
happening.
On
entering,
his
parents
put
their
heads
in
their
hands.Seeing
that
the
turtles
were
staying
in
Albert's
room,
they
decided
to
make
them
his
responsibility.
注意.1.续写词数应为150左右;

【答案】Looking
after
thousands
of
turtles
day
after
day
was
no
easy
task.
Every
day
after
school,
Albert
would
rush
to
the
turtle
tank
and
made
sure
every
one
of
them
was
properly
fed
and
carefully
attended.
Sometimes,
a
few
naughty
little
ones
would
creep
out
and
leave
their
droppings
hither
and
thither,
which
meant
extra
cleaning
and
taming
from
Albert‘s
side.
He
was,
to
some
extent,
a
feeder,
tamer,
guardian
and
mentor
for
the
big
turtle
family.
When
all
these
responsibilities
weighed
down
heavily
on
Albert’s
feeble
shoulder,
he
could
no
longer
squeeze
time
on
games,
which
he
had
held
dear
for
life.
When
Albert
forgot
about
his
beloved
computer
games,
the
turtles
disappeared
and
things
changed
completely.
Almost
overnight,
Albert
regained
his
liberty,
which
meant
he
could
immediately
re-plunge
into
the
colorful
virtual
world.
However,
this
time,
the
internet
lost
all
its
charm
and
Albert
just
wouldn't
open
the
monitor.
Instead,
he
kept
reminiscing
about
the
good
old
days
with
the
turtle
tribe
and
claimed
taking
care
of
real
turtles
was
the
best
days
ever
in
his
life.
Obviously,
this
unforgettable
experience
taught
Albert
an
invaluable
lesson:
real
life
exists
in
reality,
not
online.
