B
While
waiting
to
pick
up
a
friend
at
the
airport
in
Portland.
Oregon,
1
noticed
a
man
coming
toward
me
carrying
two
light
bags.
He
stopped
right
next
to
me
to
greet
his
family.
First,
he
motioned
to
his
youngest
son
as
he
laid
down
his
bags.
They
gave
each
other
a
movingly
loving
hug.
"It's
so
good
to
see
you,
son.
I
missed
you
so
much!”
His
son
smiled
somewhat
shyly,
and
replied
softly,
“Me
too,
Dad!”
Then
the
man
stood
up,
gazed
in
the
eyes
of
his
oldest
son
and
said,
''You're
already
quite
the
young
man.
1
love
you
very
much,
Zach!”
They
too
hugged
a
most
loving,
tender
hug.
His
son
said
nothing.
No
reply
was
necessary.
While
this
was
happening,
a
baby
girl
was
squirming
excitedly
in
her
mother's
arms.
The
man
said,
“Hi,
baby
girl!"
as
he
quickly
kissed
her
face.
After
several
moments,
he
handed
his
daughter
to
his
oldest
son
and
declared,
"I've
saved
the
best
For
last!"
and
proceeded
to
give
his
wife
the
longest,
most
passionate
kiss
I
ever
remember
seeing.
For
an
instant,
they
reminded
me
of
newlyweds,
but
1
knew
by
the
age
of
their
kids
that
they
couldn't
be.
I
puzzled
about
it
for
a
moment,
then
realized
how
totally
engrossed
(全神贯注的)I
was
in
the
wonderful
display
of
unconditional
love
not
more
than
an
arm's
length
away
from
me.
I
suddenly
nervously
asked
“How
long
have
you
been
away?"
He
answered,
"Two
whole
days!”
Two
days?
I
was
certain
by
the
intensity
of
the
greeting
I
just
witnessed
that
he'd
been
gone
for
at
least
several
weeks,
if
not
months,
and
I
know
my
expression
betrayed
me.
So,
I
said
almost
abruptly,
"I
hope
my
marriage
is
still
that
passionate
after
many
years!”
The
man
told
me.
"Don't
hope…decide…”
Then
he
flashed
me
his
wonderful
smile
again,
shook
my
hand
and
said.
"Good
luck!”
I
was
still
watching
that
special
man
and
his
exceptional
family
walk
just
out
of
sight
when
my
friend
came
up
to
me
and
asked,
“What
are
you
looking
at?”
Without
hesitating,
and
with
a
curious
sense
of
certainty,
I
replied,
“My
future!”

【6题详解】

C
How
many
afternoons
have
you
slowly
moved
over
to
the
office
coffee
machine
and
wondered:
Is
this
really
my
fourth
cup
of
the
day?
Or
wait,
is
it
my
fifth?
We've
all
been
there,
but
a
new
study
shows
refilling
your
cup
too
often
could
be
hurting
your
health.
The
study,
published
in
The
American
Journal
of
Clinical
Nutrition,
suggests
that
drinking
six
or
more
cups
of
coffee
per
day
may
increase
your
risk
of
heart
disease
by
up
to
22%.
Researchers
from
the
University
of
South
Australia
analyzed
the
health
records
and
self-reported
dietary
patterns
of
347,077
participants
between
the
ages
of
37
and
73.
They
also
looked
to
see
which
study
participants
possessed
a
specific
gene,
called
CYP1A2,
which
enables
people
to
consume
caffeine
faster
than
those
without
it.
Overall,
the
researchers
found
that
people
who
drank
six
or
more
cups
of
coffee
a
day
were
22%
more
likely
to
develop
cardiovascular(心血管的)disease
during
the
study
period,
compared
to
those
who
drank
one
to
two
cups
daily.
The
study
authors
believe
that
coffee(in
large
quantities)
and
heart
problems
may
be
linked
because
excess
caffeine
consumption
can
cause
high
blood
pressure,
a
risk
factor
for
cardiovascular
disease.
Most
people
would
agree
that
if
you
drink
a
lot
of
coffee,
you
might
feel
nervous
and
irritable(易怒的).That's
because
caffeine
helps
your
body
work
faster
and
harder,
but
it
is
also
likely
to
suggest
that
you
may
have
reached
your
limit
for
the
time
being.
That
doesn't
mean
that
any
and
all
coffee
is
bad
fbr
your
heart,
however.
In
fact,
the
researchers
also
found
that
participants
who
didn't
drink
coffee
at
all-
and
those
who
drank
decaf
(脱因咖啡)---also
had
higher
rates
of
heart
disease(11%
and
7%
higher,
respectively)than
those
who
drank
one
to
two
cups
per
day.
Previous
research
has
found
coffee
is
rich
in
antioxidants(抗氧化物质)and
may
reduce
the
risk
of
heart
disease,
stroke,
and
diabetes.
That
is,
if
it's
consumed
in
moderation.

does

new
study

may
be

excess
caffeine
consumption
can
cause
high
blood
pressure,
a
risk
factor
for
cardiovascular
disease.”(该研究的作者认为,大量饮用咖啡可能与心脏问题有关,因为过量饮用咖啡会导致高血压,这是心血管疾病的风险因素之一。)可知,该句是解释咖啡摄入量与高血压这种诱发心血管疾病的因素之间的关系,“Overall,
the
researchers
found
that
people
who
drank
six
or
more
cups
of
coffee
a
day
were
22%
more
likely
to

to
those
who
drank
one
to
two
cups
daily.(总体而言,研究人员发现,研究期间那些每天喝6杯或更多的咖啡的相比那些每天喝一到两杯的有22%的可能性更容易患上心血管疾病。)”提到每天喝六杯或更多的咖啡引起心血管疾病的可能性更大,结合这两句可推测画线词表示“过量的、太多的”。故选A项。
【11题详解】

research
has
found
coffee
is
rich
in
antioxidants(抗氧化物质)and
may
reduce
the

and
diabetes.
That
is,
if
it's
consumed
in
moderation.(先前的研究发现咖啡富含抗氧化物质,可以减少患心脏病的风险,中风和糖尿病。也就是说,摄入要适量)”可知,咖啡本身含有一些对人体有益的物质,但过量饮用会带来一些风险,因此人们在喝咖啡的时候要注意适量。故选B项。

这是一篇应用文。文章就如何学好英语的问题给你提供了一些建议。
【16题详解】
上文“Classes
are
important,
but
so
is
disciplined
practice.”(课堂很重要,守规矩的训练也同样重要。)选项C
“It
can
even
be
fun.”(它甚至很有趣。)与“so
is
disciplined
practice.”形成逻辑上的递进的关系,形容词fun与important
前后呼应。故选C。
【17题详解】
根据第二段尾句“The
variety
will
make
studying
more
fun.”(这个多样性使学习更好玩)可知,B项“Keep
things
fresh”(保持学习活动新鲜感)的“fresh”与“fun”相一致。故选B。
【18题详解】
上文“Keep
pen
and
paper
handy
and
write
down
unfamiliar
words
you
encounter.
And
do
research
to
learn
what
those
new
words
mean.”(手上拿笔和纸,记下你遇到的新词。研究学习那些新词的意思。)与选项D“Then
use
them
the
next
time
you
are
role-playing
dialogue
in
class.”(然后下次课堂上你在进行角色表演对话时,把这些新词用起来)在逻辑上紧密衔接,句中代词“them”与前句的“new
words”相一致,而且句式上看它们都是祈使句,前后文很工整。故选D。
【19题详解】
上文“For
example,
if
you’re
going
to
study
English
on
topics
that
focus
on
vacations,
take
a
moment
to
think
about
your
last
trip
and
what
you
did.”(比如,如果你将要学习以度假为话题的英语时,你就花些时间想一想你的上次旅游你做了哪些事)中的“what
you
did”与选项E“Make
a
list
of
all
the
words
you
might
use
to
describe
your
activities.”(列一个你可能会使用的词汇清单,描述你的活动)句中的“activities”相呼应,符合语境逻辑。故选E。
【20题详解】
上文“Once
you’re
comfortable
writing
about
your
day,
challenge
yourself
with
creative
writing
exercises.”(一旦你能很自在地写你的一天,就挑战自己创造写作练习)及下文“Or
write
a
poem
about
someone
you
know
well”(或者写一首关于你熟悉的人的诗歌),G项“Choose
a
photo
from
a
book
or
magazine
and
describe
it
in
a
short
paragraph.”(从一本书或杂志上选一张照片,用一段话描述一下)这个祈使句所表达的属于“创造写作练习”,符合本段主题句“write
it
down”的要求。故选G。
【点睛】本文较易,从前后逻辑语境上考虑选项。也借助前后句句式工整一致的判断角度确定答案,如第3小题的祈使句,前后句式一致,而且借助句中代词“them”与前句的“new
words”相一致,可以确定答案。
第三部分语言运用(共两节,满分30分)
第一节(共15小题;每小题1分,满分15分)

【分析】
这是一篇记叙文。文章讲述了,Mau
Piailug在没有指南针和海图的情况下,航海时通过风和海是如何变化的,找到自己的路,证明了夏威夷的第一批居民是乘坐小船来的。
【详解】1.
考查定语从句。句意:1976年初,渔民Mau
Piailug率领一支探险队,驾驶一艘传统的波利尼西亚船,从夏威夷到塔希提岛,穿越2500英里的海洋。分析句子结构可知,he
sailed
a
traditional
Polynesian
boat
across
2,500
miles
of
ocean
from
Hawaii
to
Tahiti是定语从句,修饰先行词expedition,关系词在从句中作地点状语,用关系副词where。故填where。
2.考查冠词。句意:波利尼西亚航海协会组织了这次探险。此处特指上文中提到的探险(
expedition),用定冠词the表特指。故填the。
3.考查动词不定式。句意:它的目的是为了查明远古时期的水手是否可以在没有导航仪器的情况下从一个岛屿找到另一个岛屿,或者这些岛屿是否出乎意料地有人居住的。分析句子结构及语境可知,
(find)out
if
sailors
in
the
distant
past.
.
.
表目的,应用动词不定式(to
do)形式作表语。故填to
find。
4.
考查名词的数。句意:它的目的是为了查明远古时期的水手是否可以在没有导航仪器的情况下从一个岛屿找到另一个岛屿,或者这些岛屿是否出乎意料地有人居住的。
instrument是可数名词,且前面无冠词修饰,应用复数形式表泛指。故填instruments。
5.
考查介词。句意:它的目的是为了查明远古时期的水手是否可以在没有导航仪器的情况下从一个岛屿找到另一个岛屿,或者这些岛屿是否出乎意料地有人居住的。by
accident是固定短语,意为“偶然/意外地”。故填by。
6.
考查动名词。句意:
当时,Mau是唯一一个知道如何通过观察星星、风和大海来导航的人。此处作介词by的宾语,应用动名词(doing)形式,by
doing
sth.(通过做某事)。故填observing。
7.
考查形容词。句意:他知道岛屿周围的风和海是如何变化的,所以他有信心找到自己的路。此处跟在系动词was后作表语,应用形容词。故填confident。
8.考查代词。句意:Mau本人成为了一名热心的老师,把他的传统秘密传给其他文化的人,这样他的知识就不会丢失。此处作主语Mau的同位语,与主语Mau互指,指“Mau他自己”,用反身代词himself。故填himself。
9.考查形容词。句意:Mau本人成为了一名热心的老师,把他的传统秘密传给其他文化的人,这样他的知识就不会丢失。此处用形容词traditional(传统的)作定语修饰名词secrets。故填traditional。
10.考查语态。句意:Mau本人成为了一名热心的老师,把他的传统秘密传给其他文化的人,这样他的知识就不会丢失。此处缺乏谓语,从句主语
his
knowledge和从句谓语动词lose是被动关系,结合would可知,用被动语态(would
be
done)形式。故填be
lost。

While
waiting
to
pick
up
a
friend
at
the
airport
in
Portland.
Oregon,
1
noticed
a
man
coming
toward
me
carrying
two
light
bags.
He
stopped
right
next
to
me
to
greet
his
family.
First,
he
motioned
to
his
youngest
son
as
he
laid
down
his
bags.
They
gave
each
other
a
movingly
loving
hug.
"It's
so
good
to
see
you,
son.
I
missed
you
so
much!”
His
son
smiled
somewhat
shyly,
and
replied
softly,
“Me
too,
Dad!”
Then
the
man
stood
up,
gazed
in
the
eyes
of
his
oldest
son
and
said,
''You're
already
quite
the
young
man.
1
love
you
very
much,
Zach!”
They
too
hugged
a
most
loving,
tender
hug.
His
son
said
nothing.
No
reply
was
necessary.
While
this
was
happening
a
baby
girl
was
squirming
excitedly
in
her
mother's
arms.
The
man
said,
“Hi,
baby
girl!"
as
he
quickly
kissed
her
face.
After
several
moments,
he
handed
his
daughter
to
his
oldest
son
and
declared,
"I've
saved
the
best
For
last!"
and
proceeded
to
give
his
wife
the
longest,
most
passionate
kiss
I
ever
remember
seeing.
For
an
instant,
they
reminded
me
of
newlyweds,
but
1
knew
by
the
age
of
their
kids
that
they
couldn't
be.
I
puzzled
about
it
for
a
moment,
then
realized
how
totally
engrossed
(全神贯注的)I
was
in
the
wonderful
display
of
unconditional
love
not
more
than
an
arm's
length
away
from
me.
I
suddenly
nervously
asked,
“How
long
have
you
been
away?"
He
answered,
"Two
whole
days!”
Two
days?
I
was
certain
by
the
intensity
of
the
greeting
I
just
witnessed
that
he'd
been
gone
for
at
least
several
weeks
if
not
months,
and
I
know
my
expression
betrayed
me.
So,
I
said
almost
abruptly,
"I
hope
my
marriage
is
still
that
passionate
after
many
years!”
The
man
told
me.
"Don't
hope…decide…”
Then
he
flashed
me
his
wonderful
smile
again,
shook
my
hand
and
said.
"Good
luck!”
I
was
still
watching
that
special
man
and
his
exceptional
family
walk
just
out
of
sight
when
my
friend
came
up
to
me
and
asked,
“What
are
you
looking
at?”
Without
hesitating,
and
with
a
curious
sense
of
certainty,
I
replied,
“My
future!”
4.

the
plane.
C.
The
man's
strange
behavior
at
the
airport.
D.
The
man's
sincere
expression
of
love.
6.
What
advice
did
the
man

C
How
many
afternoons
have
you
slowly
moved
over
to
the
office
coffee
machine
and
wondered:
Is
this
really
my
fourth
cup
of
the
day?
Or
wait,
is
it
my
fifth?
We've
all
been
there,
but
a
new
study
shows
refilling
your
cup
too
often
could
be
hurting
your
health.
The
study,
published
in
The
American
Journal
of
Clinical
Nutrition,
suggests
that
drinking
six
or
more
cups
of
coffee
per
day
may
increase
your
risk
of
heart
disease
by
up
to
22%.
Researchers
from
the
University
of
South
Australia
analyzed
the
health
records
and
self-reported
dietary
patterns
of
347,077
participants
between
the
ages
of
37
and
73.
They
also
looked
to
see
which
study
participants
possessed
a
specific
gene,
called
CYP1A2,
which
enables
people
to
consume
caffeine
faster
than
those
without
it.
Overall,
the
researchers
found
that
people
who
drank
six
or
more
cups
of
coffee
a
day
were
22%
more
likely
to
develop
cardiovascular(心血管的)disease
during
the
study
period,
compared
to
those
who
drank
one
to
two
cups
daily.
The
study
authors
believe
that
coffee(in
large
quantities)
and
heart
problems
may
be
linked
because
excess
caffeine
consumption
can
cause
high
blood
pressure,
a
risk
factor
for
cardiovascular
disease.
Most
people
would
agree
that
if
you
drink
a
lot
of
coffee,
you
might
feel
nervous
and
irritable(易怒的).That's
because
caffeine
helps
your
body
work
faster
and
harder,
but
it
is
also
likely
to
suggest
that
you
may
have
reached
your
limit
for
the
time
being.
That
doesn't
mean
that
any
and
all
coffee
is
bad
fbr
your
heart,
however.
In
fact,
the
researchers
also
found
that
participants
who
didn't
drink
coffee
at
all-
and
those
who
drank
decaf
(脱因咖啡)---also
had
higher
rates
of
heart
disease(11%
and
7%
higher,
respectively)than
those
who
drank
one
to
two
cups
per
day.
Previous
research
has
found
coffee
is
rich
in
antioxidants(抗氧化物质)and
may
reduce
the
risk
of
heart
disease,
stroke,
and
diabetes.
That
is,
if
it's
consumed
in
moderation.
8.
What
does
the
new
study
find?
A.
People
like
to
drink
coffee
in
the
office.
B.
Too
much
coffee
may
be
harmful
to
people.
C.
People
tend
to
drink
more
coffee
in
the
afternoon.
D.
Coffee
is
more
popular
than
tea
among
young
people.
9.
What
makes
people
take
in
caffeine
faster?
A.
The
healthy
dietary
pattern.
B.
The
high
blood
pressure.
C.
The
specific
gene
CYP1A2.
D.
The
antioxidants
in
coffee.
10.
What
does
the
underlined
word
“excess”
in
paragraph
3
refer
to?
A.
Too
much.
B.
A
little.
C.
Enough.
D.
More.
11.
What
does
the
author
consider
most
important
for
drinking
coffee?
A.
The
brand
of
coffee.
B.
The
amount
of
coffee.
C.
The
container
of
coffee.
D.
The
flavor
of
coffee.

On
the

Learning
a
new
language
like
English
can
be
a
challenge,
but
with
regular
study,
it
can
be
done.
Classes
are
important,
but
so
is
disciplined
practice.___16___Here
are
some
guidelines
to
help
you
become
a
better
English
student.
___17___Instead
of
focusing
on
one
single
task
for
the
entire
study
session,
try
mixing
things
up.
Study
a
little
grammar,
then
do
a
short
listening
exercise,
and
then
perhaps
read
an
article
on
the
same
topic.
Don't
do
too
much;
20
minutes
on
three
different
exercises
is
plenty.
The
variety
will
make
studying
more
fun.
React
watch
and
listen.
By
reading
English-language
newspapers,
listening
to
music
or
watching
TV
repeatedly,
you’ll
unconsciously
absorb
things
like
pronunciation,
speech
patterns
and
grammar.
Keep
pen
and
paper
handy
and
write
down
unfamiliar
words
you
encounter.
And
do
research
to
learn
what
those
new
words
mean.___18___
Play
vocabulary
and
grammar
games.
For
example,
if
you’re
going
to
study
English
on
topics
that
focus
on
vacations,
take
a
moment
to
think
about
your
last
trip
and
what
you
did.___19___
And
if
you’re
going
to
study
verbs
in
the
past
tense,
stop
to
think
about
what
you
did
last
weekend.
Write
down
the
verbs
you
use
and
review
the
various
tenses.
These
games
will
make
you
think
critically
about
vocabulary
and
usage.
Write
it
down.
Take
30
minutes
at
the
end
of
class
to
write
down
what
happened
during
our
day.
Once
you’re
comfortable
writing
about
your
day,
challenge
yourself
with
creative
writing
exercises.___20___Or
write
a
poem
about
someone
you
know
well.
You’ll
have
fun
and
study
English
effectively.
A.
Study
every
day.
B.
Keep
things
fresh.
C.
It
can
even
be
fun.
D.
Then
use
them
the
next
time
you
are
role-playing
dialogue
in
class.
E.
Make
a
list
of
all
the
words
you
might
use
to
describe
your
activities.
F.
Don’t
be
afraid
to
consult
reference
materials
when
studying
grammar.
G.
Choose
a
photo
from
a
book
or
magazine
and
describe
it
in
a
short
paragraph.

第二节(满分25分)
47.
阅读下面材料,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。
I
opened
the
door
and
was
greeted
as
usual
by
Shredder.
He
bounded
towards
me,
jumped
up
and
put
a
paw
on
my
shoulder.
"Okay,
boy,"
I
said,
rubbing
his
ears
the
way
he
liked.
He
wagged
his
tail
contentedly.
I
usually
played
with
him
all
day.
But
with
so
many
things
on
my
schedule
these
days—meetings,
dinners,
many
houses
to
clean—I
didn't
have
time.
I
told
Shredder
to
lie
down.
"I
have
to
get
to
work
now,“
I
said.
I
headed
downstairs
to
clean
the
bedroom.
All
of
a
sudden,
pain
shot
through
my
head.
It
was
unlike
anything
I’d
ever
felt—10
times
worse.
Things
slipped
out
of
my
hands,
and
I
fell
to
my
knees.
I
knew
someone
who
had
died
from
a
brain
aneurysm
(脑部动脉瘤).
I
had
to
get
help
before
it
was
too
late.
I
should
call
911,
but
the
nearest
phone
was
in
the
kitchen.
I
tried
to
stand
up,
but
couldn’t.
I
knew
I
had
to
get
upstairs.
It
felt
like
my
head
was
going
to
explode.
I
managed
to
crawl
to
the
kitchen.
But
I
couldn't
move
anymore.
I
was
helpless.
Through
the
sharp
pain,
I
looked
up.
Shredder
stared
back
at
me
from
the
top
step.
Did
he
think
I
was
playing?
“Come
here,“
I
whispered,
trying
to
make
my
voice
sound
playful.
He
stared
with
doubt.
"Come
on.
boy,”
I
said.
Shredder
ran
down
the
steps
and
stood
next
to
me.
His
tail
stopped
wagging.
"Help
me,
Shredder,“
I
said,
holding
his
collar
(颈圈)with
my
left
hand.
He
climbed
a
step
and
then
stopped.
"Up!"
I
said.
He
looked
back
at
me
as
if
to
say,
“Is
this
right?”
"Go,"
I
whispered.
He
started
to
drag
me.
My
left
arm
went
frozen.
1
had
to
look
at
Shredder's
collar
to
make
sure
I
kept
my
hold.
1.续写的词数应为150左右:
2.请按照如下格式在答题卡的相应位置作答。

me
to
the
