1. “How” questions
How引导的特殊疑问句有多种用法
1). how 用在问候语中。如：
　 How do you do (你好！)这是初次见面时的问候语, 答语也用How do you do
2). how用来询问身体健康状况, 意为"怎么样"。如：
　 -How is your sister
　 -She is very well.
3). how 用来询问做事的方式或手段，意为"怎样"。如：
---How do you study for a test
---I study by making flashcards.
▲ “by + 动名词”常常表示手段、方式或方法，可以用来回答“how”引导的特殊疑问句。
By的其他用法：
by是个很常用的介词（有时也用作副词），在初中英语中的用法有以下几种：
(1) 意为“在……旁”、“靠近”。
有的在大树下唱歌跳舞, 有的在湖边画画儿。Some are singing and dancing under a big tree . Some are drawing by the lake.
(2) 意为“不迟于”、“到……时为止”。如： 　
We should get there by evening.
　 我们应该在夜晚前抵达那里。
(3) 表示方法、手段，可译作“靠”、“用” 、“凭借”、“通过”、“乘坐”等。They crossed the river by boat.
　 他们乘渡船过了河。
(4) 用于被动句中，表示行为主体，常译作“被”、“由”等。如：
　 English is spoken by many people. 英语被许多人所说。（即“许多人讲英语。”）
(5) 组成其它短语:
1) by the way : 意为“顺便说”、“顺便问一下”，常做插入语。如：
　 By the way, where’s Li Ping, do you know 顺便问一下，李平在哪儿。 你知道吗？
2) by oneself : 意为“单独”、“自行”。
I can’t leave her by herself. 我不能把她单独留下。
6) by and by : 意为“不久以后”、“不一会儿”。如：
He will come back by and by. 他不久就会回来。
2. It’s too hard to understand the voices.
▲ “too + 形容词/副词 + to + 动词原形”结构，意为“太……而不能……”，该句型用于肯定句，但表示否定的意义。
▲ too…to…前面有never，not，only，but等词时，或出现too …not to do的双重否定时，否定词与不定式中的否定意义结合起来构成了肯定意义。
He is too young to go to school.
他太小了，不能去上学。
It’s never too old to learn.
活到老，学到老。

How do you… for… by +doing
动词后加ing, 相当于名词, 在句子中可以做
主语、宾语、表语定语等。
1）作主语　 Fighting broke out between the South and the North.　 南方与北方开战了。
2）作宾语 (请问你介意调小一点收音机的音量吗？)
　 Would you mind turning down your radio a little, please

构成形式：助动词have/has+ 过去分词
肯定式：主语+have/has+ 过去分词+其他
否定式：主语+haven’t/hasn’t+ 过去分词

疑问式：Have/Has+主语+ 过去分词+其他
现在完成时
1. 现在完成时的谓语形式
have/has + 过去分词
I have lived here since I was born.
我一出生就生活在这里。
2. 现在完成时的意义
⑴ 强调过去动作对现在造成的影响和结果。
I have lost my keys. I can’t find them anywhere.
⑵ 表示某种动作或状态从过去某时开始，一直持续到现在，而且还持续了一段时间。
I have lived here since I was born.
3. 现在完成时的一般疑问句的构成
直接将have/has提到主语之前构成。
They have finished the job already.
Have they finished the job yet 他们还没有完成这项工作吗？
4. 现在完成时的否定句的构成
直接在have/has之后加not构成。
They haven't finished the job yet. 他们尚未完成该项工作。
