第二部分:阅读理解
A
For
many
years,
Bruce
Bexler
dreamed
of
going
to
the
lands
no
human
had
explored
and
discovering
rare,
unknown
species.
That
might
sound
like
an
impossible
dream,
but
Bexler
turned
it
into
a
reality.
In
December
2015,
he,
together
with
a
team
of
Australian
and
American
scientists,
adventured
into
a
rain
forest
on
the
island
of
New
Guinea.
They
were
the
first
people
ever
to
enter
the
region.
"As
we
were
dropped
on
the
ground
by
helicopter,
we
found
no
trails
anywhere;
it
was
really
hard
to
get
around,"
Bexler
says.
Within
minutes
of
landing,
the
team
spotted
a
black
chicken-like
bird.
The
scientists
soon
determined
that
the
creature
was
a
type
of
honeyeater-the
first
new
bird
species
to
be
sighted
on
New
Guinea
in
60years.
The
honeyeater
wasn't
the
only
surprise
for
them.
They
discovered
more
than
40previously
unknown
plant
and
animal
species.
"We
were
like
kids
in
a
candy
store,"
Bexler
recalls.
"Everywhere
we
looked,
we
saw
amazing
things
we
had
never
seen
before."
The
newfound
species
didn't
shy
away
from
the
scientists.
Two
long-nosed
echidnas
even
let
the
visitors
pick
them
up
and
take
them
back
to
camp
to
study
them.
Bexler
thinks
the
animals
weren't
scared
because
they
had
never
seen
humans
before.
He
explains,
"This
area
gives
scientists
a
place
where
they
can
study
the
behaviours
of
animals
that
have
not
yet
learned
to
be
afraid
of
people."
Bexler
and
his
team
did
not
have
enough
time
to
study
the
area
completely.
"We
just
scratched
the
surface,"
Bexler
says.
"Anyone
who
goes
there
will
come
back
with
a
mystery."
21.

word
can
best
describe
Bruce
Bexler?
A.
Adventurous.

the
experience
of
being
in
a
candy
store.
B.
They
were
very
excited
about
what
they
discovered.
C.
They
were
misbehaving
like
naughty
children.
D.
Their
next
search
might
help
them
get
sugar.
23.
Why
did
the
long-nosed
echidnas
allow
the
scientists
to
take
them
back
for
their
study?
A.
The
scientists
were
very
friendly
to
them.
B.
The
scientists
were
skilled
in
handling
animals.
C.
They
had
been
well-trained
by
the
local
people.
D.

never
been

by

deep
rain
forest

D.
whoever

of
the
forest
B
My
husband
hasn't
stopped
laughing
about
a
funny
thing
that
happened
to
me.
It's
funny
now
but
it
wasn't
at
the
time.
Last
Friday,
after
doing
all
the
family
shopping
in
town,
I
wanted
a
rest
before
catching
the
train,
so
I
bought
a
newspaper
and
some
chocolate
and
went
into
the
station
coffee
shop

that
was
a
cheap
self-service
place
with
long
tables
to
sit
at.
I
put
my
heavy
bag
down
on
the
floor,
put
the
newspaper
and
chocolate
on
the
table
to
keep
a
place,
and
went
to
get
a
cup
of
coffee.
When
I
went
back
with
the
coffee,
there
was
someone
in
the
next
seat.
It
was
one
of
those
wild-looking
youngsters,
with
dark
glasses
and
worn
clothes,
and
hair
colored
bright
red
at
the
front.
Not
so
unusual
these
days.
What
did
surprise
me
was
that
he'd
started
to
eat
my
chocolate!
Naturally,
I
was
annoyed.
However,
to
avoid
trouble

and
really
I
was
rather
uneasy
about
him

I
just
looked
down
at
the
front
page
of
the
newspaper,
tasted
my
coffee
and
took
a
bit
of
chocolate.
The
boy
looked
at
me
closely.
Then
he
took
a
second
piece
of
my
chocolate.
I
could
hardly
believe
it.
Still
I
didn't
dare
to
start
an
argument.
When
he
took
a
third
piece,
I
felt
more
angry
than
uneasy.
I
thought,
"Well,
I
shall
have
the
last
piece."
And
I
got
it.
The
boy
gave
me
a
strange
look,
and
then
stood
up.
As
he
left
he
shouted
out.
"This
woman's
crazy!"
Everyone
stared.
That
was
embarrassing
enough,
but
it
was
worse
when
I
finished
my
coffee
and
got
ready
to
leave.
My
face
went
red

as
red
as
his
hair

when
I
realized
I'd
made
a
mistake.
It
wasn't
my
chocolate
that
he'd
been
taking.
There
was
mine,
unopened,
just
under
my
newspaper.
25.

26.
When
the
woman

go
on
eating

the
boy

I
am
a
perfectionist.
I
always
try
to
do
as
much
research
as
possible
for
role.
For
Taxi
Driver
I
did
actually
drive
a
cab
for
a
few
weeks.
It
probably
wasn’t
necessary,
but
it
was
something
I
wanted
to
do.
I’ve
realized
how
important
it
is
to
appreciate
the
things
your
parents
leave
behind.
My
father,
Robert
DeNiro
Snr,
died
in
1993.
Since
then,
I’ve
kept
his
studio
intact,
just
the
way
he
left
it.
I
thought
about
getting
rid
of
it,
but
my
family
and
I
gathered
there
after
his
death
and
realized
the
reality
is
different
to
seeing
it
in
pictures,
so
it
stayed.
There
is
much
more
opportunity
now
than
when
I
was
starting
out.
There
really
was
only
TV
and
films
made
in
California.
Now
the
Internet
has
created
so
many
more
opportunities
for
actors.
I
learned
a
lot
about
being
a
father
from
my
father.
I
knew
he
loved
me.
It
was
important
for
me
to
know
that,
so
I
know
it’s
important
for
my
kids
to
know
it,
too.
I
give
my
kids
space,
but
we
do
spend
a
lot
of
time
together.
I
guess
I
can
be
firm
when
necessary.
I
have
four
grandchildren
and
six
children
so
I
know
what
I’m
talking
about.
I
understand
why
people
use
social
media,
but
I
don’t.
No
way!
I
don’t
watch
much
TV
or
go
to
the
movies
either.
To
me,
they’re
just
another
distraction.
And
I
have
enough
of
those
to
worry
about
without
all
that
staff
as
well.
Fame
is
not
an
issue
for
me
these
days.
When
I
was
younger,
I
found
the
attention
difficult
to
deal
with,
but
I’m
mostly
OK
with
it
now.
I
go
around
quite
freely
and
people
may
say
“hello”
or
want
a
photo
and
that’s
fine
for
me.

2.

of
the
followings
about
the

is
true?
A.
He
has
kept
a
balance
between
his

He
has
been

C.

has
never
been
strict

D.

has

great

to
his

these
days.
3.In
the
author’s
view,
social
media
is
_________.
A.
attractive
B.
positive
C.
worrying
D.
amusing
B
A
perfectly
good
cupboard
just
sat
by
the
dustbin
in
the
parking
lot.
Probably
it
was
something
they
were
getting
rid
of,
I
thought.
My
family
was
in
need
of
all
the
extra
storage
space
we
could
find
at
this
point.
We
were
living
on
top
of
one
another
in
the
small
house
my
husband,
Martin,
and
I
owned.
However,
our
younger
son
had
stopped
his
college
courses
and
moved
home.
Hit
hard
by
the
bad
economic
situation,
our
elder
son
with
his
wife
and
my
precious
grandchild
moved
back
home
too
while
he
looked
for
work.
This
cupboard
wouldn’t
solve
all
our
problems,
but
at
least
the
living
room
would
look
a
little
less
chaotic
(混乱的).
One
of
the
nice
things
about
the
boys
being
back
home
was
that
their
father
and
I
never
had
to
do
the
heavy
lifting.
“Wesley,
meet
me
behind
the
cupboard,”
I
told
our
younger
son
over
the
phone.
Once
he
arrived
we
got
the
cupboard
loaded
in
my
trunk(汽车后备箱).
Then
we
opened
the
big
box.
Inside
was
a
five-foot-tall
dollhouse.
Even
the
little
furniture
was
broken:
a
sofa
and
a
lamp
in
baby
blue,
the
color
of
my
own
living
room
at
home.

We
should
take
this
too,”
Wesley
said.
“Luke
might
play
with
it
when
he
gets
a
little
older.”
What
a
thoughtful
uncle
Wesley
was!
Late
that
same
night,
while
everyone
else
was
asleep,
I
went
back
to
the
living
room
to
have
a
look
again.
A
house
just
like
the
neat
dollhouse
I
was
starting
at
now:
everything
neat
and
clean
and
in
its
proper
place.

When
I
grow
up,
I’ll
marry
a
prince
and
we’ll
live
in
a
nice
house
like
that
one,”
I
thought
when
I
was
a
child.
But
now,
every
one
of
us
under
this
roof
was
at
loose
ends.
It
would
take
more
than
a
new
cupboard
to
get
things
in
order
around
here.
I
went
to
bed
with
the
impression
of
that
perfect
dollhouse
in
my
head.
The
next
evening
I
was
getting
everything
ready
for
dinner.
My
daughter-in-law
was
setting
the
table.
Wesley
and
I
were
in
the
kitchen,
getting
the
food
just
right.
The
others
were
in
the
study,
watching
the
game.
Suddenly
I
felt
so
thankful.
My
two
responsible
sons,
my
kind-hearted
daughter-in-law,
my
lovely
grandchildren,
and
Martin,
my
prince,
were
all
under
one
roof.
Maybe
our
house
was
a
bit
crowded,
but
in
every
free
inch
of
space
was
love.
My
dream
had
come
true.
I
had
the
home
I’d
always
wanted.
According

sit
in
a
small
room
and
complete
a
puzzle
while
in
possession
of
their
phone;
then,
they
were
asked
to
complete
another
puzzle,
but
they
were
told
that
their
phone
was
causing
“Bluetooth
interference”
and
that
they
needed
to
be
moved
elsewhere
in
the
room.
Researchers
then
called
the
phones,
study
participants
could
see
and
hear
them
ringing,
but
were
unable
to
get
up
to
answer
them.
In
each
state,
researchers
kept
track
of
participants’
heart
rate
and
blood
pressure.
You
can
probably
see
where
this
is
going:
When
the
puzzle-solvers
were
separated
from
their
phones
but

and
hear
them
ringing,
they
experienced
“significant”
rises
in
anxiety,
heart
rate
and
blood
pressure.
They
also
got
worse
at
completing
the
puzzle.
In
a
new
release,
the
researchers
suggested
that
“iPhone
users
avoid
parting
with
their
phones
during
daily
situations
that
involve
a
great
deal
of
attention,”
saying
that
being
apart
from
the
device
can
make
individuals
feel
“a
lessening
of
‘self.’”
So,
what
should
you
do
if
you
own
a
smartphone
but
need
to
focus?
“Our
advice
would
be
to
carry
your
iPhone
with
you,”
Clayton
told
HuffPost,
“but
to

during
cognitively
demanding
tasks
in
order
to
avoid
any
potential
distractions
that
may
reduce
your
attention
throughout
the
day.”
In
which
situation

worst
in
a

in
the

A篇
内容提要:
本文由《卫报》对著名演员Robert
De
Niro
的人物专访改编而成,不同于六要素齐全的记叙文,所以体裁比较新颖,体现了高考全国卷最新考查趋势。文章从事业,家庭,子女教育和业余生活等多个角度介绍了作者的个人经历,引发考生对未来生活和事业以及社交媒体的思考。
D
考查细节理解
根据第一段
I
always
try
to
do
as
much
research
as
possible
for
role.
For
Taxi
Driver
I
did
actually
drive
a
cab
for
a
few
weeks和第三段中
Now
the
Internet
has
created
so
many
more
opportunities
for
actors.等细节信息的整合中可知,作者是一位演
员,《Taxi
driver
出租车司机》
是作者主演的一部影片,
故选D。
A考查推理判断
根据第一段和第三段可推知作者对演艺事业的敬业与严谨;再根据第
二段和第四段可推知作者对已故父亲的怀念与爱戴,对下两代子女的教育和深情,作
者做到了兼顾事业和家庭,故选
A项。
B项与第二段文意不符。C选项与第四段第
五句I
guess
I
can
be
firm
when
necessary不符。D选项与第六段第一句Fame
is
not
an
issue
for
me
these
days.不符。
C考查细节理解
根据原文第五段中To
me,
they’re
just
another
distraction.
And
I
have
enough
of
those
to
worry
about
without
all
that
staff
as
well可知C
选项正确。其它选项
都与原文文意不符合。
B篇
内容提要:
本文作者一直希望自己的房子干净整洁,没想到成家之后的大儿子和大学毕业的小儿子都回家住,本就嫌小的房子更加拥挤,但是,家里却充满了爱,这正是作者梦想的。
C.
细节理解题。根据第二段的”my
husband,
Martin”可知,Martin是作者丈夫;根据第三段的”Luck
might
play
with....older”可知Luke是男性;这段还提到Wesley
是作者的小儿子和Luke的叔叔。所以选
C.
A
推理判断题。根据第四段的“
When
I
grow
up,
I’ll
marry
a
prince
and
we’ll
live
in
a
nice
house
like
that
one,”
可推断,作者希望长大后有那样一栋房子,其中的that
one
指代的
就是
“everything
neat
and
clean
and
in
its
proper
place”的房子。故选A。
B
词义猜测题。第二段提到两个儿子都没有工作,所以没有收入,只能到父母家中住。
由于房子小所以凌乱拥挤。对比画线部分之前的那个井然有序的小房子可知,作者是认
为:现在大家的工作和生活都不稳定。
at
loose
ends
意为“不稳定的”。故选B。
A
标题归纳题。纵观全文,作者一直希望自己的房子干净整洁,没想到成家之后的大
儿子和大学毕业的小儿子都回家住,本就嫌小的房子更加拥挤,但是,家里却充满了爱,
这正是作者梦想的。A项概括了文章主旨,故选A。
C篇
内容提要:
本文是一篇说明文。研究表明,不带手机会导致人们出现生理焦虑和认知表现不佳的状况。
C
考查细节理解
根据第四段中的“When
the
puzzle-solvers
were
separated
from
their
phones
but
able
to
see
and
hear
them
ringing,
they
experienced
‘significant’
rises
in
anxiety,
heart
rates
and
blood
pressure.
They
also
got
worse
at
completing
the
puzzle”可知,在这项实验中,参与者在离开他们的手机但是能看到和听到手机来电时,其焦虑感,心率,血压都会明显上升,而且他们在完成智力游戏时的表现也很差。
故选C。
B
考查推理判断
根据第五段的内容可知,与手机分离会让人们感到“自我的减弱”。再结合该段中的“iphone
users
avoid
parting
with
their
phones
during
daily
situations
that
involve
a
great
deal
of
attention”可推断出,与手机分离会导致人们心不在焉,故选B。
A考查写作意图
通读全文。尤其是文中出现的“a
new
study”“new
research”“researcher”等关键词可知,本文主要介绍了一项新的研究结果,即人们与自己的手机分离可能会导致生理焦虑和认知表现不佳,进而具体阐述了其研究方法,研究结果等,故作者写作本文的目的在于介绍该项新的研究。Unit

we
could

We
weren’t

nervously
raised
up
our
signs
and
shouted,
“Hi,there!”
to
a
young
couple.They
looked
over
and
felt
confused.Then
they
read
our

and
broke
into
a
smile.Before
long,some
tourists
wanted
to
take
a

with
us

some
strangers
stopped
to
ask
us
about
our

In
fact,we
paid
so
close

to
our
“Smile!”

that
we
forgot
the
other
aim.Before
we
knew
it,the
sun
was
setting,and
we
had
no

for
our

to
Portland.We
sat
down
to
watch

when
a

the
crowd.We
rushed
to

him,but
another
man

him.
Once
the
musician
had
his
money
safely
returned,we
ran
over
to

the

and
said,“We
just
wanted
to
praise
you
for
your
good
deed.”
He
smiled,looking
at
our
signs.
“Your
trip
reminds
me
of

I
once

when
I
was
young,”he
said.“Look!
I’d
like
to

told
him,“No,thanks!
We
are

collected
plenty
of
money.”We
lied.“Please
let
me
donate.It
will
make
me
feel

he
insisted.And
then
the
stranger
opened
his
wallet
and
pulled
out
four

bills.The
money
was
exactly
what
we
had

the

to
donate
money?
A.Because
he
felt
pity
for
the

C
“I
feel
unlikable,lonely
and
hopeless,”said
Lisa,a
bright
teenager
from
a
loving
home.“It
seems
that
nobody
wants
to
become
my
friend.What’s
wrong
with
me?”
Like
Lisa,many
of
us
experience
loneliness.The
truth
is
that
all
people,no
matter
what
their
age
or
character—even
the
most
outgoing,wealthy
and
popular—experience
loneliness
at
least
sometimes.It’s
healthy
and
natural
to
want
to
be
around
people
who
care.After
all,we’ve
all
heard
“No
man
is
an
island.”
That’s
true.We
all
need
others
in
our
lives.
Solomon,the
wisest
man
who
ever
lived,explains
that
if
we
want
friends,we
must
be
friendly
and
reach
out
to
others.But
it
has
risk.Because
we
are
often
afraid
of
rejection(拒绝),many
of
us
are
unwilling
to
reach
out
to
others.We
take
a
safer
way
and
wait
for
others
to
make
friends
with
us.But
if
we
want
friends,we’ve
got
to
get
beyond
this.
If
making
friends
is
your
goal
as
well,you
need
to
consider
taking
some
measures.
Be
willing
to
take
the
initiative(主动权).If
you
see
someone
whom
you
would
like
to
know,don’t
wait
for
her
to
make
the
first
move.Get
close
to
her
and
begin
a
conversation.Let
her
know
in
a
non?aggressive(无攻击性的)
manner
that
you
are
interested
in
being
friends
with
her.
Reach
out
to
those
who
are
lonely.When
you
see
someone
at
school
sitting
alone,go
over
and
talk
to
her.And
don’t
let
popularity
decide
whom
you
reach
out
to.You’ll
often
be
surprised
at
the
beautiful
qualities
behind
a
shy
appearance.
Ask
questions.Start
your
first
conversation
by
asking
this
possible
friend
what
she
likes
to
do
or
asking
about
her
family.Be
sure
to
ask
questions
that
cannot
be
replied
with
“yes”
or
“no”.
For
example,don’t
ask
“Do
you
have
a
dog?”
Instead,say
“So,
tell
me
about
your
pets.”
Avoiding
asking
“yes”or
“no”
questions
makes
your
possible
friend
not
end
your
communication
with
a
one?word
answer.

pain.

out
to
others.可知,主动出击的风险是可能被他人拒绝。
10.What
can
we
know
from
Paragraph

people

easy?going.
C.Just
waiting
for
chances
will
waste

time.

11.Why
does
the
author
suggest
not
asking
“yes”
or
“no”
questions?
A.It
is
considered
unfriendly.
B.It
will
leave
a
bad
first
impression.
C.It
shows
the
poor
quality
of
the
speaker.
D.It
isn’t
good
for
keeping
a

going.
D 解析:推理判断题。根据最后一段的Avoiding
asking
“yes”
or
“no”
questions
makes
your
possible
friend
not
end
your
communication
with
a
one?word
answer.可知,问对方能用yes或no回答的问题不利于展开对话。
D
Scientists
have
made
great
discoveries.But
how
have
they
influenced
our
personal
lives?Do
kids
in
your
classroom
even
know
when
Einstein
lived?You
may
be
wondering:but
why
is
it
important
to
teach
kids
about
modern?day
scientists?
First,stories
of
scientists
can
encourage
kids.Chris
Hadfield
is
a
Canadian
who
went
to
space,and
he’s
a
real
guitar?playing
person.He
makes
singing
videos
on
YouTube!
His
story
can
make
kids
think
scientists
are
also
common
people.Hearing
scientists’
stories
makes
kids
think
“I
can
do
that
too!”
But
not
only
that,the
stories
of
famous
scientists
can
encourage
kids
to
never
give
up.Bill
Nye
was
always
refused
when
trying
to
be
an
astronaut.But
today,he’s
made
a
lot
of
successes
in
his
role
as
a
popular
science
educator
and
engineer.Besides,it’s
no
secret
that
scientific
discoveries
require
trying,and
trying
again.
Another
way
some
scientists
can
encourage
kids
is
through
their
diversity(多样性).Neil
deGrasse
Tyson,for
example,is
an
African?American,which
is
not
common
in
his
field.Such
stories
can
make
kids
think
anyone
can
be
a
scientist.
It’s
important
to
know
that
scientists
don’t
need
to
be
“gifted”
or
“good”
at
school.Often
we
consider
a
scientist
as
being
an
extremely
smart
kid
at
school.That
doesn’t
have
to
be
true.They
just
need
to
have
a
great
interest
in
science.Telling
students

do不定式。故填to
relax。
