to
what
many
consider
a
vital
issue
of
the
times.
 In
2015,
a
former
lawyer
Miranda
Massie
created
the
first
United
States
museum
which
was
entirely
devoted
to
climate
change
in
New
York
City.
“Climate
change
is
affecting
virtually
every
aspect
of
our
lives,

Ms
Massie
said.
“But
we
can’t
fight
the
problem
with
policies
alone.
We
need
the
public
to
take
part
and
museums
are
a
way
to
open
people’s
mind
to
what
matters.

Bridget
McKenzie,
director
of
Flow
Associates,
wanted
to
raise
awareness
of
the
difficult
situation
of
the
Pacific
island
nations,
 which
are
particularly
vulnerable(易受伤害的)
to
rising
sea
level.
So
with
her
team
she
set
up
a“ghost
boat”
made
of
old
fish
nets
at
the
University
of
Cambridge’s
Museum
of
Archaeology
and
Anthropology,
and
asked
visitors
what
they
would
take
with
them
if
they
were
suddenly
forced
to
leave
their
homes.
While
museums
can
be
a
powerful
way
of
communicating
the
effects
of
climate
change,
they
should
also
practice
what
they
spread
and
control
their
own
emissions
(排放物).
“About
half
of
cities’
emissions
come
from
energy
use
in
buildings,

said
Elliot
Goodger,
a
museums’
association
representative
of
the
West
Midlands
in
Britain,
“museums
have
a
duty
to
be
energy
efficient,
for
example,
by
using
laser
lighting
for
displays
or
improving
their
building
materials.

The

this
suggests
that
animals

them.
Prof.
Karen

and
Dr
Graeme
Shannon
from
the
University
of
Sussex
led
the
study.
They
explained
that
in
former

they
had
used
similar

to
show
that
elephants
could
tell—from
the
sound
of
a
lion—whether
the
animal

or
a

male.
Prof.
McComb
wanted
to
find
out
if

animals
used
their
very

recognize
danger
from
humans.
The
scientists
recorded
Masai
men,
women
and
children
saying,
in
their
own
language,
“Look,
look
over
there,
a
group
of
elephants
are
coming.

They
also
recorded
Kamba
men
saying
this
phrase.
Masai
people
often
come
across
elephants,
which
can
result
in
violent
(暴力的)
hunting.
Kamba
people,
however,
mainly
feed
on
agriculture,
which
does
not
generally
bring
them
into
violent

the
animals.
When
the
team
played
recordings
of
these
different

through
a
hidden
speaker,
they
found
that
elephant
family
groups
showed
more
fear
in
response
to
the
voice
of
a
Masai
man,
than
to
a
Kamba

response
than
the

in
2016.
He
moved
to
Stockholm
from
a
small
community
in
northern
Sweden.
Each
day
he
would
ride
his
bike
to
work.
He
became
worried
about
the
amount
of
rubbish
and
litter
he
saw
each
day
on
his
way
to
work.
So,
he
took
matters
into
his
own
hands.
He
began
picking
up
the
rubbish.
 37 ?
Today,
plogging
is
an
official
activity,
which
is
becoming
increasingly
popular.
People
of
all
ages
are
welcome
to
plog.
Exercise

helping
your

 38
It
can
also
build
closer
social
connections
in
a
community.
When
the

looks
bad
and
it’s
dirty,
you’re
going
to
feel
bad
about
the
community.
You
may
even
feel
less
safe
because
of
that.
So
if
we’re

doing
our
part
and
picking
it
up,
it’s
very
easy
to
help
beautify
it,
and
help

You
get
to
feel
some
social
duty
when
you
do
this.

Besides
cleaning
up
the
environment,
there
may
be
another
reason
to
choose
plogging.
You
may
get
a

One

Lifesum,
records
one

of
plogging
as
burning
288

 40 ?
As
can
be
seen,
cities
around
the
world
now
hold
plogging
events.
The
goal
is
to
spread
the
idea
that
littering
is
not
acceptable.
People
would
think

before
dropping

on
the

A.
They

【文章大意】拾荒慢跑(Plogging)是全球正在流行的健身方式,
不仅让你的锻炼更高效,
且有助于美化身边的环境,
保持环境清洁。
36.
【解析】选A。根据空格后面的“Plogging”
began
in
Sweden”可知这是拾荒慢跑的定义。分析选项可知,
A项(They
are
plogging)也是定义的部分。
37.
【解析】选C。根据第二段的内容可知,
本段主要介绍plogging的起源。分析选项可知C项(拾荒慢跑就是这样诞生的)与其意义一致。
38.
【解析】选G。分析本段可知,
主要谈拾荒慢跑的并列益处。根据本空格前的一句“People
of
all
ages
are
welcome
to
plog.
Exercise
while
helping
your
community.
”可知,
拾荒慢跑在帮助社区的同时还进行锻炼。以及后面叙述的内容可知拾荒慢跑是锻炼和社区服务的平等的组成部分。
39.
【解析】选B。本段主要谈及拾荒慢跑的几个并列益处。根据空前的“it’s
very
easy
to
help.
.
.
build
those
social
connection.
”可知,
拾荒慢跑容易帮助建立那些社会联系。空后的“You
get
to
feel
some
social
duty
when
you
do
this.

句子中的get
to可知,
加强社会人们之间的关系。分析选项可知B项(你可以了解你的邻居)与其一致。
40.
【解析】选D。根据上文“there
may
be
another
reason
to
choose
plogging.
You
may
get
a
better
workout.
One
fitness
app,
Lifesum,
records
one
hour
of
plogging
as
burning
288
calories”可知选择拾荒慢跑而不是寻常慢跑的另一个原因就是plogging锻炼效果可能会更好。1小时的拾荒慢跑运消耗了288卡路里。可推断出Jogging消耗的热量少。分析选项可知D项(jogging
消耗约235卡路里的热量)符合题意,
且选项D中与上文的calories复现。

A.
The
Kinema.

D.

in
1922”可知,
The
Kinema从1922年开始放映电影。由第三段“It’s

Camping
wild
is
a
wonderful
way
to
experience
the
natural
world
and,
at
its
best,
it
makes
little
environmental
influence.
But
with
increasing
numbers
of
people
wanting
to
escape
into
the
wilderness,
it
is
becoming
more
and
more
important
to
camp
unobtrusively
and
leave
no
mark.
Wild
camping
is
not
permitted
in
many
places,
particularly
in
crowded
lowland
Britain.
Wherever
you
are,
find
out
about
organizations
that
manage
wild
spaces,
and
contact
them
to
find
out
their
policy(政策)
on
camping
and
shelter
building.
For
example,
it
is
fine
to
camp
wild
in
remote
parts
of
Scotland,
but
in
England
you
must
ask
for
the
landowner’s
permission,
except
in
national
parks.
Camping
is
about
having
relaxation,
sleeping
outdoors,
experiencing
bad
weather,
and
making
things
without
modern
conveniences.
A
busy,
fully
equipped
campsite
seems
to
go
against
this,
so
seek
out
smaller,
more
remote
places
with
easy
access
to
open
spaces
and
perhaps
beaches.
Better
still,
find
a
campsite
with
no
road
access:
walking
in
makes
a
real
adventure.
Finding
the
right
spot
to
camp
is
the
first
step
to
guarantee(保证)
a
good
night’s
sleep.
Choose
a
campsite
with
privacy
and
minimum
influence
on
others
and
the
environment.
Try
to
use
an
area
where
people
have
obviously
camped
before
rather
than
creating
a
new
spot.
When
camping
in
woodland,
avoid
standing
by
a
dead
tree,
which
may
fall
on
a
windy
night.
Avoid
animal
runs
and
caves,
and
possible
homes
of
biting
insect.
Make
sure
you
have
most
protection
on
the
windward
side.
If
you
make
a
fire,
do
so
downwind
of
your
shelter.
Always
consider
what
influence
you
might
have
on
the
natural
world.
Avoid
damaging
plants.
A
good
campsite
is
found,
not
made-changing
it
should
be
unnecessary.

细节理解题。从第二段最后的“but

后面的leave
no

6.

A.
protecting

C.

room?
  Trying
to
forget
the
past
This
was
never
meant
to
last
I
wish
it
wasn’t
so
I
know
what
it
takes
to
move
on
I
know
how
it
feels
to
lie
  All
I
wanna
do
is
trade
this
life
for
something
new
Holding
on
to
what
I
haven’t
got
What
was
left
when
that
fire
was
gone
I
thought
it
felt
right,
but
that
right
was
wrong
All
caught
up
in
the
eye
of
the
storm
And
trying
to
figure
out
what
it’s
like
moving
on
And
I
don’t
even
know
what
kind
of
things
I
said
My
mouth
kept
moving
and
my
mind
went
dead
So
picking
up
the
pieces
now
where
to
begin
The
hardest
part
of
ending
is
starting
again
   巧辨意群和停顿
1.
意群是句子内部有相对完整意义的一组词。一个句子可以按照意义和语法结构分成几个部分,
每一个部分称为一个意群。
2.
停顿是在意群之间进行的,
它是根据语意、语速的需要而自然产生的一种语音停顿现象。如:
Blue
ridge
mountain,
life

W:
Did
you
know
James
went
out
of
business?
M:
Really?
When
was
that?
W:
Last
month.
M:
That’s
too
bad.
He
had
owned
that
business
for
15
years.
What
happened?
W:
I
don’t
know.
But
life
must
be
pretty
tough
for
his
family
now.
His
sons
are
still
so
young;
one
is
13,
and
the
other
is
10.
M:
Well,
maybe
things
are
not
as
bad
as
they
seem
to
be.
W:
I
hope
so.

W:
Guess
what?
My
mother
decided
to
go
back
to
school!
M:
Why?
W:
Well,
she
always
loved
art,
but
learned
business
administration
at
college
because
her
parents
thought
it
was
difficult
for
an
artist
to
find
a
job.
M:
So,
she
wants
to
study
art
now?
W:
Yeah,
oil
painting.
It’s
been
her
dream
for
a
long
time.
M:
It’s
nice
to
return
to
learn
what
she
loves.
But,
Kate,
I
still
think
old
age
should
be
about
peace
and
relaxation.
Hurrying
to
school
every
day
and
having
to
pass
exams
sound
a
bit
too
much
for
her.
W:
You
know,
she
retired
last
year
and
I’m
leaving
for
the
university
soon.
She
needs
to
find
something
interesting
to
do.
M:
Well,
maybe,
if
it’s
what
she
wants.
译文:
《等待终结》
这不是结局,
也不是开篇
只有一个摇动着每次宽恕的狂欢的声音
你聆听这曲调,
听那暴力的节奏
尽管词语听似深沉,
其中却是空虚
我们呼喊着,
拳头在空中挥舞着
好像我们要抓住虚空。
因为痛苦与恐惧,
支配着我们的生活
直到我们让其逝去,
遗忘,
荡然无存
等待终结来临
祈祷自己还有力气站立
这并非我所安排的
它在我掌控之外
光速飞行
脑海里思绪万千
那么多东西没有预兆地离开
让你走太难
我知道前行所需的代价
我知道说谎的滋味
我唯愿以此生换取全新的东西
持守我未曾得到的
静坐在空荡荡的房间里
竭力忘记过去
这从不代表继续
望其非此
我知道前行所需的代价
我知道说谎的滋味
我唯愿以此生换取全新的东西
持守我未曾得到的
当那烈火消失时,
还有什么存留
当我坚持的一切都指向错误的前方
一切都困在暴风之眼
试着琢磨前进是什么感觉
我甚至忘了我说过什么样的话
我的嘴不断颤动,
思想却已死亡
所以在开始的地方拾起那些碎片
结局最难之处就是重新开始
