B
It
was
a
battle
of
power,
as
China’s
Zhang
Weili
took
on
Polish
competitor
Joanna
Jedrzejczyk
in
what
is
being
called
one
of
the
greatest
fights
in
women’s
MMA
history.
People
had
high
expectations
for
this
match

and
their
expectations
were
met.
On
March
7,
2020,
Zhang
Weili
beat
Jedrzejczyk
in
Las
Vegas,
successfully
defending
(蝉联)
her
strawweight
UFC
title
(草量级终极格斗赛冠军).
Both
women
are
known
as
top
fighters.
Zhang,
30,
won
China’s
first
and
only
UFC
belt
last
year
in
Shenzhen.
Jedrzejczyk,
32,
is
a
former
five-time
defending
champion
in
the
115-pound
group.
But
this
year’s
novel
coronavirus
outbreak
(新冠疫情爆发)
made
Zhang’s
training
harder
than
usual.
She
had
to
travel
from
Beijing
to
Thailand
and
then
to
Abu
Dhabi
before
arriving
in
Las
Vegas,
about
a
week
later
than
planned.
Worse
still,
before
the
match,
Zhang
was
annoyed
by
social
media
post
by
Jedrzejczyk.
In
a
picture,
Jedrzejczyk
wears
a
gas
mask
(防毒面具)
standing
behind
Zhang,
making
fun
of
the
outbreak.
The
picture
caused
criticism
and
later
disappeared.
Zhang
said
she
was
fired
up
to
make
Jedrzejczyk
pay
for
the
tasteless
joke
in
the
competition.
Zhang’s
considerable
punching
power
(重拳)
gave
her
the
early
advantage
as
the
pair
traded
in
the
first
and
second
rounds.
However,
as
a
former
five-time
defending
champion,
Jedrzejczyk
used
her
greater
experience
and
changed
her
style,
catching
Zhang
with
huge
kicks
to
the
face
and
body
to
win
Round
Three.
Going
into
the
championship
rounds,
despite
looking
the
more
tired,
Zhang
again
caught
her
competitor
with
well-timed
counter
punches,
winning
her
first
title
defence.
In
the
end,
Zhang
scored
a
narrow
win
over
Jedrzejezyk
in
the
fight.
Both
ended
up
in
the
hospital
because
of
the
fight.
“All
fighters
deserve
respect
from
one
another
in
the
competition,

said
Zhang
following
her
victory.
“Now
the
situation
is
not
just
affecting
China
but
the
whole
world.
I
hope
everybody
in
the
world
can
stand
together
to
fight
the
virus
with
a
united
effort.”
she
said.

C
Can
you
imagine
being
able
to
remember
every
single
experience
of
your
life,
every
conversation
you
have
ever
had,
every
meal
you’ve
eaten,
every
word
in
your
favorite
book
and
even
the
feel
of
the
clothes
you
wore
on
your
very
first
birthday?
That’s
what
Rebecca
Sharrock’s
life
is
like,
and
as
amazing
as
that
ability
sounds,
she
says
it
can
also
be
quite
terrifying
at
times.
Three
years
ago,
Rebecca
Sharrock
was
reading
a
newspaper
article
which
mentioned
that
it
was
impossible
for
people
to
remember
details
of
their
lives
that
had
occurred
during
the
first
four
years
of
their
existence.
“What
absolute
nonsense,”
she
thought
to
herself,
because
she
could
clearly
remember
her
life
all
the
way
back
to
when
she
was
just
12
days
old.
She
was
just
one
of
the
only
80
known
people
suffering
from
a
mysterious
condition
called
Highly
Superior
Autobiographical
Memory
(HSAM)
(超忆症).
Like
Jill
Price,
the
woman
who
cannot
forget,
27-year-old
Rebecca
Sharrock,
from
Brisbane,
Australia,
remembers
all
the
details
of
her
life
but
what
really
makes
her
special
is
how
far
back
her
memories
go:
Jill
and
other
HSAM
sufferers
only
remember
details
of
their
daily
lives
from
when
they
were
10-14,
but
Sharrock
remembers
specific
moments
of
her
infancy.
She
remembers
the
dress
she
wore
on
her
first
birthday
and
how
uninterested
she
was
in
her
baby
sister
at
first.
Rebecca
Sharrock’s
unusual
case
was
recently
featured
on
“60
Minutes”,
where
the
reporter
Allison
Langdon
put
her
ability
to
the
test,
by
asking
her
questions
about
her
favorite
book
series,
“Harry
Potter”.
“I
tested
her
on
the
books
because
she
says
she
can
remember
every
single
word
from
every
single
book,”
Langdon
said.
“So
I
would
pick
up
a
book
and
open
a
page
and
read
her
a
line
and
immediately
she
would
name
the
book,
chapter
number,
chapter
name
and
could
recite
every
word
until
I
told
her
to
stop.”
Being
able
to
remember
every
little
detail
about
most
of
your
life
is
a
surprising
ability,
but
as
every
HSAM
sufferer
will
tell
you,
it
can
be
very
difficult
to
deal
with.
Forgetting
is
one
of
the
mechanisms
(机制) we
use
to
get
over
sad
experiences
in
our
lives,
but
it’s
something
that
people
like
Rebecca
Sharrock
or
Jill
Price
are
unable
to
do.
46.
We
can
infer
from
the
passage
that
_____.
A.
HSAM
sufferers
aren’t
bothered
by
their
ability
B.
having
HSAM
isn’t
always
a
good
thing
C.
HSAM
happens
to
people
commonly

days
D.
people

What
do
you
know
about
Jill
Price?
A.
She
can
remember
how

She
can
remember
earlier
things
than
Rebecca
Sharrock.
C.
She
can
remember
the
dress
she
wore
on
her
first
birthday.
D.
She
can
remember
something
detailed
in
her
teenage
time.
48.
What's
the
meaning
of
the
underlined
word
“infancy”
in
Para.3?
A.
Youth.
B.
Success.
C.
Babyhood.
D.
Hardship.
49.
Why
did
Allison
Langdon
ask
about
Rebecca
Sharrock’s
favorite
book
series?
A.
Because
she
was
curious
about
her
preference.
B.
Because
she
wanted
to
improve
her
vocabulary.
C.
Because
she
wanted
to
test
Rebecca's
ability
of
remembering.
D.
Because
“Harry

HSAM
患者都会告诉你,这可能很难处理。遗忘是我们用来克服生活中悲伤经历的一种机制,但像Rebecca

other
HSAM
sufferers
only
remember
details
of
their
daily

birthday
and
how
uninterested
she
was
in
her
baby
sister
at

【49题详解】
细节理解题。根据第四段中“Rebecca

put
her
ability
to
the

“I
tested
her
on
the
books
because
she
says
she
can
remember
every
single
word
from
every
single
book,
””可知,Rebecca
Sharrock的不寻常事件最近出现在《60分钟》节目中,记者Allison
Langdon通过询问她最喜欢的系列丛书《Harry
Potter》的相关问题,测试了她的能力。Langdon说:“我在书上对她进行了测试,因为她说她能记住每一本书上的每一个单词。”由此可知,Allison
Langdon要测试Sharrock的记忆力。故选C项。
【50题详解】
主旨大意题。通读全文可知,文章主要通过讲述一个叫Rebecca
Sharrock的妇女能记得她所经历的一切,介绍了一种疾病HSAM(超忆症)。D项“能记得她所经历的一切”作为标题,能引起人们关注,吸引人们了解文章内容,又与HSAM(超忆症)紧密相关,这种疾病的主要特征就是不会忘记。故选D项。

“我”和
“听说”之间是主动关系,所以要用现在分词hearing;“听说”的内容用that引导的宾语从句,其中表示“有着浓厚的兴趣”短语为have
a
strong
passion
for,表示“中国传统节日”应用Chinese
traditional
festivals;主句中,表示“迫不及待写信”短语为can’t
wait
to
write
to,
“邀

”短

invite
you
to
participate
in,
“中

knowledge,
but
it
also

only
can
reading
help
accumulate
knowledge,

approaching,
students
get
more

B
It
was
a
battle
of
power,
as
China’s
Zhang
Weili
took
on
Polish
competitor
Joanna
Jedrzejczyk
in
what
is
being
called
one
of
the
greatest
fights
in
women’s
MMA
history.
People
had
high
expectations
for
this
match

and
their
expectations
were
met.
On
March
7,
2020,
Zhang
Weili
beat
Jedrzejczyk
in
Las
Vegas,
successfully
defending
(蝉联)
her
strawweight
UFC
title
(草量级终极格斗赛冠军).
Both
women
are
known
as
top
fighters.
Zhang,
30,
won
China’s
first
and
only
UFC
belt
last
year
in
Shenzhen.
Jedrzejczyk,
32,
is
a
former
five-time
defending
champion
in
the
115-pound
group.
But
this
year’s
novel
coronavirus
outbreak
(新冠疫情爆发)
made
Zhang’s
training
harder
than
usual.
She
had
to
travel
from
Beijing
to
Thailand
and
then
to
Abu
Dhabi
before
arriving
in
Las
Vegas,
about
a
week
later
than
planned.
Worse
still,
before
the
match,
Zhang
was
annoyed
by
social
media
post
by
Jedrzejczyk.
In
a
picture,
Jedrzejczyk
wears
a
gas
mask
(防毒面具)
standing
behind
Zhang,
making
fun
of
the
outbreak.
The
picture
caused
criticism
and
later
disappeared.
Zhang
said
she
was
fired
up
to
make
Jedrzejczyk
pay
for
the
tasteless
joke
in
the
competition.
Zhang’s
considerable
punching
power
(重拳)
gave
her
the
early
advantage
as
the
pair
traded
in
the
first
and
second
rounds.
However,
as
a
former
five-time
defending
champion,
Jedrzejczyk
used
her
greater
experience
and
changed
her
style,
catching
Zhang
with
huge
kicks
to
the
face
and
body
to
win
Round
Three.
Going
into
the
championship
rounds,
despite
looking
the
more
tired,
Zhang
again
caught
her
competitor
with
well-timed
counter
punches,
winning
her
first
title
defence.
In
the
end,
Zhang
scored
a
narrow
win
over
Jedrzejezyk
in
the
fight.
Both
ended
up
in
the
hospital
because
of
the
fight.
“All
fighters
deserve
respect
from
one
another
in
the
competition,

said
Zhang
following
her
victory.
“Now
the
situation
is
not
just
affecting
China
but
the
whole
world.
I
hope
everybody
in
the
world
can
stand
together
to
fight
the
virus
with
a
united
effort.”
she
said.

who
cannot
forget,
27-year-old
Rebecca
Sharrock,
from
Brisbane,
Australia,
remembers
all
the
details
of
her
life
but
what
really
makes
her
special
is
how
far
back
her
memories
go:
Jill
and
other
HSAM
sufferers
only
remember
details
of
their
daily
lives
from
when
they
were
10-14,
but
Sharrock
remembers
specific
moments
of
her
infancy.
She
remembers
the
dress
she
wore
on
her
first
birthday
and
how
uninterested
she
was
in
her
baby
sister
at
first.
Rebecca
Sharrock’s
unusual
case
was
recently
featured
on
“60
Minutes”,
where
the
reporter
Allison
Langdon
put
her
ability
to
the
test,
by
asking
her
questions
about
her
favorite
book
series,
“Harry
Potter”.
“I
tested
her
on
the
books
because
she
says
she
can
remember
every
single
word
from
every
single
book,”
Langdon
said.
“So
I
would
pick
up
a
book
and
open
a
page
and
read
her
a
line
and
immediately
she
would
name
the
book,
chapter
number,
chapter
name
and
could
recite
every
word
until
I
told
her
to
stop.”
Being
able
to
remember
every
little
detail
about
most
of
your
life
is
a
surprising
ability,
but
as
every
HSAM
sufferer
will
tell
you,
it
can
be
very
difficult
to
deal
with.
Forgetting
is
one
of
the
mechanisms
(机制) we
use
to
get
over
sad
experiences
in
our
lives,
but
it’s
something
that
people
like
Rebecca
Sharrock
or
Jill
Price
are
unable
to
do.
46.

can
infer
from
the
passage

their
ability

isn’t
always
a
good
thing

Babyhood.
D.
Hardship.
49.

Langdon
ask

was
curious
about

test

Take
a
look
at
your
fingers.
Would
you
believe
me
if
I
told
you
that
the
length
of
your
fingers
in
relation
to
one
another
can
predict
your
personality?
I
know
that
it
sounds
like
one
of
those
silly
tests
you
see
on
Facebook,
but
I
have
to
admit
that
it
was
spot-on
for
me.
Look
at
your
three
middle
fingers
of
your
left
hand
Is
your
index
finger(食指)longer
than
your
ring
finger?
Is
your
ring
finger
longer
than
your
index
finger?
Or
are
the
two
the
same
length?

A

If
your
ring
finger
is
longer
than
your
index
finger,
research
shows
that
you’re
likely
a
charming
type,
and
you
can
probably
talk
yourself
out
of
any
situation.
Others
often
find
this
personality
type
irresistible
and
will
go
to
great
lengths
to
help
you.
You’re
more
likely
to
take
risks,
and
you’re
good
at
problem-solving.

If
your
index
finger
is
longer
than
your
ring
finger,
chances
are
you
are
full
of
confidence

possibly
even
to
the
point
of
being
over-confident
and
too
proud.
You
are
not
necessarily
introverted(内向的),but
you
do
enjoy
time
to
yourself
especially
when
you’re
trying
to
complete
a
project.
You
are
a
determined
go-getter
who
can
make
things
happen,
but
you
may
be
shy
when
it
comes
to
taking
the
first
step
in
building
up
a
friendship.
You
are
also
probably
happy
with
what
you
have,
but
you’re
always
wishing
for
more.

The

If
your
index
finger
and
ring
finger
are
roughly
the
same
length,
you
are
likely
to
avoid
conflict
at
all
costs
and
seek
to
keep
the
peace
in
your
relationships.
You
are
well-organized,
faithful
and
sympathetic.
But
deep
down
under
all
of
that
caring
and
peace-loving,
you
also
have
a
fiery
core(暴躁的本质)and
can
lash
out(猛然怒斥)
unexpectedly
when
you’re
pushed
too
far.
How
well
did
these
descriptions
match
your
personality?
I
was
surprised
at

(脑瘫)
in
China’s
Hubei
Province
and
is
studying
law
at
Harvard
University.
His
mother
Zou
Hongyan
is
worth
a
thousand
schoolmasters
and
more.
“There
is
little
value
in
rescuing
the
baby.
He
will
become
mentally
disabled.
I
suggest
you
forsake
it,”
a
doctor
at
Jingzhou
District
Hospital
told
Zou
on
July
21,
1988.
Zou
was
shocked,
but
she
knew
she
shall
not
let
her
boy
die.
So
she
started
the
long
journey
of
rehabilitation
(康复)
training
for
Ding.
In
order
to
treat
Ding’s
illness,
Zou
sold
her
house
and
the
family
moved
into
a
room
of
less
than
20
square
meters.
Zou
also
did
many
part-time
jobs.
“Zou
took
her
son
to
our
hospital
for
treatment
when
he
was
at
a
very
early
age
and
continued
his
treatment
non-stop
for
over
ten
years,
so
he
could
recover
to
such
a
great
extent.

said
the
doctor.
Zou
tried
everything
she
could
to
help
Ding
overcome
any
difficulty
his
disability
had
created.
“I
don’t
want
him
to
feel
ashamed
about
his
illness.
I
ask
him
to
work
harder
than
others
and
have
higher
requirements
of
him,”
said
Zou.
But
Zou
neither
helped
Ding
with
his
homework
nor
forced
him
to
participate
in
training
courses.
Thanks
to
his
mother’s
intense
nurturing
(养育),
Ding
graduated
from
the
College
of
Environmental
Science
and
Engineering
of
Peking
University,
and
then
enrolled
in
the
Law
School
of
Peking
University
in
the
same
year.
In
March
2016,
Ding
was
admitted
into
the
Law
School
of
Harvard
University
after
working
as
a
lawyer
for
years.
In
terms
of
educating
children,
Zou
thinks
that
an
equal
relationship
between
parents
and
children
is
very
important.
Zou
has
always
treated
Ding
as
an
equal
and
likes
to
discuss
important
decisions
with
him.
Ding
acknowledges
that
their
treating
each
other
as
equals
is
the
foundation
of
their
healthy
relationship.
