T: Look at the picture. This is Mike’s baby brother. Listen to tape and tick: When is the baby’s birthday?
Let's talk:
1.Look and guess:
T: Look at the picture. Who are they? What are they talking about?
2.Lead in :
T: Birthday is special day for everyone. So Chen Jie is making a birthday calendar for her class.
3.Read the dialogue
T: Whose birthday are they talking abour?
A: Mike’s birthday
B: Chen Jie’s mother’s birthday.
C: Both(两者都) A and B
4.Ask and answer:
(1)T: When is Mike’s birthday?
T: Let’s check.(出示词卡,领读 April 4th
My birthday is on April 4th.
T: What does Chen Jie ask?
机械操练:

T:板书-领读-小组读-指名读(提问两生):Both of you are right.
(2) T: We know Mike’s birthday is on April 4th. When is Chen Jie’s mother’s birthday? Let’s read again.
(3) Chen Jie’s mother’s birthday is coming. Guess: What will Chen Jie do for her mum?
