It
was
summer
when
I
was
asked
whether
I
wanted
to
go
to
Malibu(an
island
in
Canada)
with
my
church
to
serve
the
military
families.
At
first,
I
heard
this
and
thought,
“You
are
asking
an
eleven?year?old
in
his
last
weeks
of
summer
if
he
wants
to
go
on
a
trip
with
his
mom
to
Canada
to
serve
other
people?”
Of
course,
I
responded
with
a
kind
refusal,
but
my
mom
found
a
way
to
convince
me
to
go.
When
we
were
on
the
ferry
to
the
island,
a
thousand
thoughts
were
running
through
my
head,
such
as
“What
am
I
going
to
do
here?”
“Am
I
even
going
to
be
useful?”
and
“Why
am
I
even
here?”
When
we
got
to
the
island,
I
was
assigned
to
the
child
care.
I
was
actually
somewhat
excited
because
my
friend,
said
he
would
help
me.
The
first
time
I
met
the
kids,
I
got
to
know
them
pretty
well.
They
were
all
between
the
ages
of
four
and
six.
Some
of
them
stayed
well?behaved
and
a
few
of
them
started
acting
crazy
and
would
even
hit
and
push
the
other
kids.
With
those
kids,
I
was
very
strict,
but
I
still
tried
to
be
positive
and
keep
a
smile.
After
all,
they
were
just
innocent
kids.
In
most
of
the
time,
I
needed
to
help
them
with
things
like
washing
clothes,
and
setting
tables.
Even
though
it
sounded
dull,
I
enjoyed
every
second
of
it.
One
of
the
things
I
did
in
my
free
time
was
to
play
pool(打台球).
I
made
friends
with
a
few
kids
there.
They
were
really
easy
to
talk
to.
Some
of
the
things
we
talked
about
were
sports,
food,
video
games,
and
most
of
all
pool.
Even
though
I
was
only
at
Malibu,
Canada
for
one
week,
I
feel
like
I
made
spiritual
changes
in
some
people's
life.
You
don't
have
to
go
above
and
beyond
to
have
an
influence
on
someone's
life.
In
the
end,
it
all
comes
down
to
what
way
you
changed
them.
It
could
have
been
in
a
spiritual
way
or
a
mental
way
as
long
as
you
had
a
positive
effect.
So
go
out
and
try
to
make
a
difference
in
this
world.

B
(2020·全国卷Ⅰ)Returning
to
a
book
you've
read
many
times
can
feel
like
drinks
with
an
old
friend.
There's
a
welcome
familiarity—but
also
sometimes
a
slight
suspicion
that
time
has
changed
you
both,
and
thus
the
relationship.
But
books
don't
change,
people
do.
And
that's
what
makes
the
act
of
rereading
so
rich
and
transformative.
The
beauty
of
rereading
lies
in
the
idea
that
our
bond
with
the
work
is
based
on
our
present
mental
register.
It's
true,
the
older
I
get,
the
more
I
feel
time
has
wings.
But
with
reading,
it's
all
about
the
present.
It's
about
the
now
and
what
one
contributes
to
the
now,
because
reading
is
a
give
and
take
between
author
and
reader.
Each
has
to
pull
their
own
weight.
There
are
three
books
I
reread
annually.
The
first,
which
I
take
to
reading
every
spring,
is
Ernest
Hemingway's
A
Moveable
Feast.
Published
in
1964,
it's
his
classic
memoir
of
1920s
Paris.
The
language
is
almost
intoxicating
(令人陶醉的),an
aging
writer
looking
back
on
an
ambitious
yet
simpler
time.
Another
is
Annie
Dillard's
Holy
the
Firm,
her
poetic
1975
ramble(随笔)
about
everything
and
nothing.
The
third
book
is
Julio
Cortázar's
Save
Twilight:
Selected
Poems,
because
poetry.
And
because
Cortázar.
While
I
tend
to
buy
a
lot
of
books,
these
three
were
given
to
me
as
gifts,
which
might
add
to
the
meaning
I
attach
to
them.
But
I
imagine
that,
while
money
is
indeed
wonderful
and
necessary,
rereading
an
author's
work
is
the
highest
currency
a
reader
can
pay
them.
The
best
books
are
the
ones
that
open
further
as
time
passes.
But
remember,
it's
you
that
has
to
grow
and
read
and
reread
in
order
to
better
understand
your
friends.
4.Why
does
the
author
like
rereading?
A.It
evaluates
the
writer?reader
relationship.
B.It's
a
window
to
a
whole
new
world.
C.It's
a
substitute
for
drinking
with
a
friend.
D.It
extends
the
understanding
of
oneself.
5.What
do
we
know
about
the
book
A
Moveable
Feast?
A.It's
a
brief
account
of
a
trip.
B.It's
about
Hemingway's
life
as
a
young
man.
C.It's
a
record
of
a
historic
event.
D.It's
about
Hemingway's
friends
in
Paris.
6.What
does
the
underlined
word
“currency”
in
paragraph
4
refer
to?
A.Debt.
B.Reward.
C.Allowance.
D.Face
value.
7.What
can
we
infer
about
the
author
from
the
text?
A.He
loves
poetry.
B.He's
an
editor.
C.He's
very
ambitious.
D.He
teaches
reading.
C
You
walk
into
a
store,
a
restaurant,
or
a
school
one
day,
and
suddenly,
you
cannot
understand
what
anyone
is
saying.
You
can
see
their
mouths
moving
and
possibly
hear
very
little
noises,
but
that
is
all
you
can
make
out.
What
would
you
do?
How
would
it
feel
if
you
could
not
communicate
with
anyone
around
you,
or
at
least
very
few?
Imagine
not
being
able
to
communicate
with
your
parents,
your
best
friend
or
your
classmates.
It
is
time
the
opportunity
should
be
given.
Although
I
personally
do
not
suffer
from
being
deaf,
I
do
feel
very
strongly
that
sign
language
should
be
taught
in
schools.
Those
who
are
deaf
should
have
the
opportunity,
if
they
choose
to
go
to
a
school
where
other
kids
are
being
taught
the
language
that
they
know.
I
realize
that
there
are
translators
that
can
walk
around
with
students
and
translate
for
them.
However,
growing
up
is
hard
enough;
having
someone
following
them
around
constantly
would
only
make
things
more
difficult.
They
may
feel
stressed.
If
we
could
make
things
even
a
little
easier
for
them
by
learning
to
sign,
why
don't
we?
We
take
it
for
granted
that
we
have
this
gift
of
hearing
that
some
people
do
not
have
and
may
never
get.
So
to
give
them
the
gift
of
signing
would
be
the
least
we
can
do.
If
sign
language
could
be
taught
in
schools,
children
who
can
hear
would
have
a
greater
opportunity
of
learning
sign
language
as
opposed
to
hoping
they
just
learn
it
on
their
own
later
in
life.
Even
a
simple
conversation
of
sign
language
with
a
deaf
child
can
make
all
the
difference
in
the
world.
To
those
of
us
who
can
hear,
this
seems
so
small,
but
to
those
who
cannot,
it
may
make
all
the
difference
in
the
world.
It
is
time
we
should
start
to
realize
the
importance
of
knowing
how
to
sign.
It
is
not
just
for
our
benefit,
but
for
those
around
us.
8.The
first
paragraph
introduces
the
topic
mainly
by
showing.
A.the
education
of
the
disabled
B.the
cause
of
losing
hearing
C.the
failure
of
communication
D.the
suffering
of
the
deaf
9.Why
is
the
author
against
translating
for
deaf
students?
A.It
would
put
pressure
on
them.
B.It
would
waste
other
kids'
time.
C.It
would
slow
the
teaching
pace.
D.It
would
bring
trouble
to
teachers.
10.What
does
the
last
paragraph
mainly
talk
about?
A.The
methods
of
helping
deaf
students.
B.The
importance
of
changing
the
world.
C.The
benefits
of
sign
language
teaching.
D.The
difficulty
of
communicating
with
the
deaf.

Set
a
goal
that
you
want
to

in
one

at
home
and
I
don't
want
them
to
worry
about
us.”
“You
are
a
coward(胆小鬼),and
afraid
to
go,”
said
Robert,and
off
he
ran.Henry
went
straight
home,and
in
the
afternoon
went
to
school
as_usual.
But
Robert
had
told
all
the
boys
that
Henry
was
a
coward,and
they
laughed
at
him
a
great
deal.From
then
on,they
looked
down
upon
Henry
and
didn't
want
to
play
with
him
together.
Henry
was
sad
but
he
wasn't
angry
with
Robert
for
his
rude_behavior,because
he
learned
that
true_courage
is
shown
most
in
bearing
misunderstanding
when
it
was
not
deserved,and
that
he
ought
to
be
afraid
of
nothing
but
doing
wrong.Thus,he
just
ignored
the
other
boys'
laughter
and
continued
to
go
to
school
and
study
as
well.However,Robert
didn't
invite
Henry
to
go
home
with
him
anymore.Instead,he
had
some
other
boys
who
also
thought
Henry
was
a
coward.Every
day
after
school,they
didn't
go
home
directly
but
went
to
the
river
or
somewhere
to
play
games
and
had
a
lot
of
fun.
A
few
days
later,Robert
was
bathing
with
his_new_friends
in
a
river,and
got
out
of
his
depth.He
struggled,and
screamed(尖叫)
for
help,but
all
in
vain.The
boys
who
had
called
Henry
a
coward
got
out
of
the
water
as
fast
as
they
could,but
they
did
not
even
try
to
help
him.

A
It
was
summer
when
I
was
asked
whether
I
wanted
to
go
to
Malibu(an
island
in
Canada)
with
my
church
to
serve
the
military
families.
At
first,
I
heard
this
and
thought,
“You
are
asking
an
eleven?year?old
in
his
last
weeks
of
summer
if
he
wants
to
go
on
a
trip
with
his
mom
to
Canada
to
serve
other
people?”
Of
course,
I
responded
with
a
kind
refusal,
but
my
mom
found
a
way
to
convince
me
to
go.
When
we
were
on
the
ferry
to
the
island,
a
thousand
thoughts
were
running
through
my
head,
such
as
“What
am
I
going
to
do
here?”
“Am
I
even
going
to
be
useful?”
and
“Why
am
I
even
here?”
When
we
got
to
the
island,
I
was
assigned
to
the
child
care.
I
was
actually
somewhat
excited
because
my
friend,
said
he
would
help
me.
The
first
time
I
met
the
kids,
I
got
to
know
them
pretty
well.
They
were
all
between
the
ages
of
four
and
six.
Some
of
them
stayed
well?behaved
and
a
few
of
them
started
acting
crazy
and
would
even
hit
and
push
the
other
kids.
With
those
kids,
I
was
very
strict,
but
I
still
tried
to
be
positive
and
keep
a
smile.
After
all,
they
were
just
innocent
kids.
In
most
of
the
time,
I
needed
to
help
them
with
things
like
washing
clothes,
and
setting
tables.
Even
though
it
sounded
dull,
I
enjoyed
every
second
of
it.
One
of
the
things
I
did
in
my
free
time
was
to
play
pool(打台球).
I
made
friends
with
a
few
kids
there.
They
were
really
easy
to
talk
to.
Some
of
the
things
we
talked
about
were
sports,
food,
video
games,
and
most
of
all
pool.
Even
though
I
was
only
at
Malibu,
Canada
for
one
week,
I
feel
like
I
made
spiritual
changes
in
some
people's
life.
You
don't
have
to
go
above
and
beyond
to
have
an
influence
on
someone's
life.
In
the
end,
it
all
comes
down
to
what
way
you
changed
them.
It
could
have
been
in
a
spiritual
way
or
a
mental
way
as
long
as
you
had
a
positive
effect.
So
go
out
and
try
to
make
a
difference
in
this
world.

B
(2020·全国卷Ⅰ)Returning
to
a
book
you've
read
many
times
can
feel
like
drinks
with
an
old
friend.
There's
a
welcome
familiarity—but
also
sometimes
a
slight
suspicion
that
time
has
changed
you
both,
and
thus
the
relationship.
But
books
don't
change,
people
do.
And
that's
what
makes
the
act
of
rereading
so
rich
and
transformative.
The
beauty
of
rereading
lies
in
the
idea
that
our
bond
with
the
work
is
based
on
our
present
mental
register.
It's
true,
the
older
I
get,
the
more
I
feel
time
has
wings.
But
with
reading,
it's
all
about
the
present.
It's
about
the
now
and
what
one
contributes
to
the
now,
because
reading
is
a
give
and
take
between
author
and
reader.
Each
has
to
pull
their
own
weight.
There
are
three
books
I
reread
annually.
The
first,
which
I
take
to
reading
every
spring,
is
Ernest
Hemingway's
A
Moveable
Feast.
Published
in
1964,
it's
his
classic
memoir
of
1920s
Paris.
The
language
is
almost
intoxicating
(令人陶醉的),an
aging
writer
looking
back
on
an
ambitious
yet
simpler
time.
Another
is
Annie
Dillard's
Holy
the
Firm,
her
poetic
1975
ramble(随笔)
about
everything
and
nothing.
The
third
book
is
Julio
Cortázar's
Save
Twilight:
Selected
Poems,
because
poetry.
And
because
Cortázar.
While
I
tend
to
buy
a
lot
of
books,
these
three
were
given
to
me
as
gifts,
which
might
add
to
the
meaning
I
attach
to
them.
But
I
imagine
that,
while
money
is
indeed
wonderful
and
necessary,
rereading
an
author's
work
is
the
highest
currency
a
reader
can
pay
them.
The
best
books
are
the
ones
that
open
further
as
time
passes.
But
remember,
it's
you
that
has
to
grow
and
read
and
reread
in
order
to
better
understand
your
friends.
语篇解读:这是一篇说明文。短文主要介绍了重新阅读的意义和益处并向读者介绍了作者每年重读的三本书。作者鼓励读者去重新阅读书籍。
4.Why
does
the
author
like
rereading?
A.It
evaluates
the
writer?reader
relationship.
B.It's
a
window
to
a
whole
new
world.
C.It's
a
substitute
for
drinking
with
a
friend.
D.It
extends
the
understanding
of
oneself.
D 解析:推理判断题。根据第一段最后两句“But
books
don't
change,
people
do.
And
that's
what
makes
the
act
of
rereading
so
rich
and
transformative.(但是书没变,人变了。那就是使重新阅读行为如此丰富和富于变化之处。)”和第二段中“The
beauty
of
rereading
lies
in
the
idea
that
our
bond
with
the
work
is
based
on
our
present
mental
register.
It's
true,
the
older
I
get,
the
more
I
feel
time
has
wings.(重新阅读的美妙之处在于我们与作品的联系是基于我们现在的心理状态。真的,我年纪越大,就越觉得时光飞逝。)”可推知,作者喜欢重新阅读是因为重新阅读可以扩展对自己的理解。故选D项。
5.What
do
we
know
about
the
book
A
Moveable
Feast?
A.It's
a
brief
account
of
a
trip.
B.It's
about
Hemingway's
life
as
a
young
man.
C.It's
a
record
of
a
historic
event.
D.It's
about
Hemingway's
friends
in
Paris.
B 解析:推理判断题。根据倒数第二段“Published
in
1964,
it's
his
classic
memoir
of
1920s
Paris.”及“...an
aging
writer
looking
back
on
an
ambitious
yet
simpler
time.”可知,这本书出版于1964年,这是他关于20世纪20年代在巴黎的经典回忆录,是他老年时对那些野心勃勃却更简单的日子的回顾。由此可判断出A
Movable
Feast是关于海明威年轻时的生活的。故选B项。
6.What
does
the
underlined
word
“currency”
in
paragraph
4
refer
to?
A.Debt.
B.Reward.
C.Allowance.
D.Face
value.
B 解析:词义猜测题。根据最后一段中“...while
money
is
indeed
wonderful
and
necessary...(……虽然金钱确实是美妙而必要的……)”可知,前后句为转折关系,根据上下文的语境可推知,“...rereading
an
author's
work
is
the
highest
currency
a
reader
can
pay
them.”意为“但是重新阅读作家的作品是读者能支付给他们的最高回报”,由此判断出画线词的意思是“回报”。故选B项。
7.What
can
we
infer
about
the
author
from
the
text?
A.He
loves
poetry.
B.He's
an
editor.
C.He's
very
ambitious.
D.He
teaches
reading.
A 解析:推理判断题。根据倒数第二段“The
third
book
is
Julio
Cortázar's
Save
Twilight:Selected
Poems,
because
poetry.”可知,第三本书是胡里奥·科塔萨尔写的诗歌。由此可知,作者是由于喜欢诗歌而喜欢这本书。故选A项。
C
You
walk
into
a
store,
a
restaurant,
or
a
school
one
day,
and
suddenly,
you
cannot
understand
what
anyone
is
saying.
You
can
see
their
mouths
moving
and
possibly
hear
very
little
noises,
but
that
is
all
you
can
make
out.
What
would
you
do?
How
would
it
feel
if
you
could
not
communicate
with
anyone
around
you,
or
at
least
very
few?
Imagine
not
being
able
to
communicate
with
your
parents,
your
best
friend
or
your
classmates.
It
is
time
the
opportunity
should
be
given.
Although
I
personally
do
not
suffer
from
being
deaf,
I
do
feel
very
strongly
that
sign
language
should
be
taught
in
schools.
Those
who
are
deaf
should
have
the
opportunity,
if
they
choose
to
go
to
a
school
where
other
kids
are
being
taught
the
language
that
they
know.
I
realize
that
there
are
translators
that
can
walk
around
with
students
and
translate
for
them.
However,
growing
up
is
hard
enough;
having
someone
following
them
around
constantly
would
only
make
things
more
difficult.
They
may
feel
stressed.
If
we
could
make
things
even
a
little
easier
for
them
by
learning
to
sign,
why
don't
we?
We
take
it
for
granted
that
we
have
this
gift
of
hearing
that
some
people
do
not
have
and
may
never
get.
So
to
give
them
the
gift
of
signing
would
be
the
least
we
can
do.
If
sign
language
could
be
taught
in
schools,
children
who
can
hear
would
have
a
greater
opportunity
of
learning
sign
language
as
opposed
to
hoping
they
just
learn
it
on
their
own
later
in
life.
Even
a
simple
conversation
of
sign
language
with
a
deaf
child
can
make
all
the
difference
in
the
world.
To
those
of
us
who
can
hear,
this
seems
so
small,
but
to
those
who
cannot,
it
may
make
all
the
difference
in
the
world.
It
is
time
we
should
start
to
realize
the
importance
of
knowing
how
to
sign.
It
is
not
just
for
our
benefit,
but
for
those
around
us.
语篇解读:本文属于说明文,
作者通过这篇文章主要向我们描述了有耳疾的人的痛苦,
手语教学或许可以帮助他们。
8.The
first
paragraph
introduces
the
topic
mainly
by
showing.
A.the
education
of
the
disabled
B.the
cause
of
losing
hearing
C.the
failure
of

of
the
deaf
D 解析:细节理解题。根据文章第一段中“Imagine

your
parents,
your
best
friend
or
your
classmates.
It
is
time
the
opportunity
should
be
given(想象一下你不能和你的父母、你最好的朋友或你的同学交流)”可知,第一段主要介绍了有耳疾的人的痛苦。故选D。
9.Why
is
the
author
against
translating
for
deaf
students?
A.It
would
put
pressure
on
them.
B.It
would
waste
other
kids'
time.
C.It
would
slow
the
teaching
pace.
D.It
would
bring
trouble
to
teachers.
A 解析:细节理解题。根据文章第二段中“However,
growing
up
is
hard
enough;
having
someone

them
around
constantly
would
only
make
things
more
difficult.
They
may
feel
stressed.(然而,
成长已经够困难了;有一个人不断地跟着他们,
只会让事情变得更困难。他们可能会感到压力。)”可知,作者反对为有耳疾的人翻译,因为这会给他们带来压力。故选A。
10.What
does
the
last
paragraph
mainly
talk
about?
A.The
methods
of
helping
deaf
students.
B.The
importance
of
changing
the
world.
C.The
benefits
of
sign
language
teaching.
D.The
difficulty
of
communicating
with
the
deaf.
C 解析:主旨大意题。根据文章第三段中“If
sign
language
could
be
taught
in
schools,
children
who
can
hear
would
have
a
greater
opportunity
of
learning
sign

Even
a

the
world.(如果在学校里教手语,
能听得到的孩子有更多的机会学习手语,
而不是希望自己以后能学到手语。即使是和一个有耳疾的人简单地手语交谈,
也能改变世界)”可知,最后一段主要讲的是手语教学的好处。故选C。

How
to
improve
your
study
habits
Perhaps
you
are
an
average
student
with
average
intelligence
and
you
think
you
will
never
be
a
top
student.This
is
not
always
the

can
receive
better
grades
if
you
want
to.
▲Set
a
goal
for
yourself
Set
a
goal
that
you
want
to
achieve
in
one
week
or
by
the
end
of
this
term.Keep
it
in
mind
and
it
will
motivate
you
to

find
that
you
work
harder
when
you
focus
on
a
target.__11__.Whatever
you
decide
to
do,don't
give
up.
▲Plan
your
time
carefully
Make
a

decide
on
regular
time
for
studying.Be
sure
to
set
aside
enough
time
to
complete
your
normal
reading
and
homework.Of
course,studying
shouldn't
take
all
of
the
free
time
on
the
schedule.It's
important
to
set
aside
time
for
relaxation,hobbies,and
entertainment
as
well.
▲__13__
Listening
to
what
the
teacher
says
in
class
means
less
work
later.Take
notes
to
help
you
remember
what
the

says.
▲Review
regularly
__14__.Review
important
points
mentioned
in
class
as
well
as
points
you
remain
confused
about.If
you
review
regularly,the
material
will
become
more
meaningful
and
you
will
remember
it
longer.
▲Develop
a
good
attitude
towards
tests
The
purpose
of
a
test
is
to
show
what
you
have
learned
about
a
subject.__15__.Therefore,don't
worry
too
much
about
a
single
test.Tests
provide
grades,but
they
also
let
you
know
what
you
need
to
spend
more
time
studying.
There
are
other
techniques
that
might
help
you
with
your
study.Only
a
few
have
been
mentioned
here.You
will
probably
discover
many
others
after
you
have
tried
these.Improving
your
study
habits
will
improve
your
grades.
A.Learn
from
your
mistakes
B.Make
good
use
of
your

E.Go
over
your
notes
as
soon
as
you
can
after

to
that
great

I'd
like
to
give
you
some
suggestions.
Firstly,you
should
learn
to
relax
and
don't
give
yourself
too
much
stress.As
an
old
saying
goes,“All
work
and
no

Jack

boy.”When
you
are
tired,you
can
go
for
a

or
do
some
sports.Secondly,I
think
it
would
be
beneficial
if
you
could
share
some
of
your
inner
emotions
with
your
friends,parents
or
teachers.
I
hope
you
will
find
these
suggestions
useful.

第二节 读后续写(满分25分)
阅读下面短文,根据所给情节进行续写,使之构成一个完整的故事。
(2020·山东滕州一中高一月考)Robert
and
Henry
were
two
friends
in
the
same
class.They
always
played
together
and
went
home
together.One
day
Robert
and
Henry
were
going
home
from
school,when,on
turning
a
corner,Robert
cried
out,“A
fight!Let's
go
and
see!”
“No,”
said
Henry.“Let's
go
quietly
home
and
not
meddle
with(插手)
this
quarrel.We
have
nothing
to
do
with
it
and
may
get
into
mischief.Also
our
parents
are
expecting
to
have
dinner
with
us
together
at
home
and
I
don't
want
them
to
worry
about
us.”
“You
are
a
coward(胆小鬼),and
afraid
to
go,”
said
Robert,and
off
he
ran.Henry
went
straight
home,and
in
the
afternoon
went
to
school
as_usual.
But
Robert
had
told
all
the
boys
that
Henry
was
a
coward,and
they
laughed
at
him
a
great
deal.From
then
on,they
looked
down
upon
Henry
and
didn't
want
to
play
with
him
together.
Henry
was
sad
but
he
wasn't
angry
with
Robert
for
his
rude_behavior,because
he
learned
that
true_courage
is
shown
most
in
bearing
misunderstanding
when
it
was
not
deserved,and
that
he
ought
to
be
afraid
of
nothing
but
doing
wrong.Thus,he
just
ignored
the
other
boys'
laughter
and
continued
to
go
to
school
and
study
as
well.However,Robert
didn't
invite
Henry
to
go
home
with
him
anymore.Instead,he
had
some
other
boys
who
also
thought
Henry
was
a
coward.Every
day
after
school,they
didn't
go
home
directly
but
went
to
the
river
or
somewhere
to
play
games
and
had
a
lot
of
fun.
A
few
days
later,Robert
was
bathing
with
his_new_friends
in
a
river,and
got
out
of
his
depth.He
struggled,and
screamed(尖叫)
for
help,but
all
in
vain.The
boys
who
had
called
Henry
a
coward
got
out
of
the
water
as
fast
as
they
could,but
they
did
not
even
try
to
help
him.
