【教材分析】
教学重点:熟练掌握四会单词:singer, writer, actor, actress, artist, TV reporter;理解、认读句型:What does your father / mother do He` s / She ` s ….并能在实际生活中运用。
教学难点:正确区分运用冠词an和a,如:an actress,a writer。
【学情分析】
学生在四年级上册Unit 6 Part B中已经学习过一些职业的英语读法。本节课是在此的基础上继续学习6种职业的英语读法,并能在实际情景中运用。
【教学目标】
一、能力目标:
能够用句型What does your father / mother do He` s / She ` s ….询问人的职业。
二、知识目标:
1. 能够听、说、读、写单词:singer, writer, actor, actress, artist, TV reporter。
2. 能够听、说、认读句型:What does your father / mother do He` s / She ` s ….
3. 能够运用句型:What are you going to be I` m going to be …is going to be …询问他人的理想,并给出相应回答。
4. 能掌握sing --- singer, report --- reporter, write --- writer, act --- actor; act --- actress, art --- artist等词的变化方法。
三、情感目标:
培养学生热爱生活,尊重他人劳动的思想感情。
【教学准备】
CAI课件,四年级上册第六单元和本课的录音带,本课单词卡片,本课挂图,she,he,it等代词卡片、Sarah等人物的头饰、一些名人的图片。
【教学过程】
一、Warming up/Revision(热身 / 复习)
1.情绪热身
教师放四年级上册第74页的歌谣,学生边说边根据内容做一些动作。
2.划分小组
将全班分为男、女同学两个组。表现好的小组每次可以得到一个字母,组成单词早的小组为获胜小组。男生的小组组成的单词是an actor。女生的小组组成的单词是actress。
3.复习
教师把doctor, teacher, nurse, driver, farmer, baseball player等单词卡片面朝下放在桌上。一名学生抽一张卡片,用动作表演卡片上的职业,其他学生猜职名称。第一个猜出的学生抽下一张卡片继续做游戏。
【设计意图】有兴趣的游戏中让学生复习已学过的职业的读法,使学生乐学。
二、Presentation/Practice(新课呈现 / 操练)
(一)教学Let` start
教师展示本部分的挂图,然后对学生说:“I am a teacher. I teach lessons. ”教师板书:teach, teacher。注意:teach和teacher用不同颜色的笔标出来。请学生观察两个词并说出差别。教师通过一些动作给学生以提示,帮助学生理解几种职业的含义。注意提示学生dancer, driver, writer三个词是直接在原动词后面加r。
(二)分步学习新单词
1.通过真实模仿学习单词singer, writer
(1)老师手拿话筒(或是将书卷起来当作话筒)演唱几句歌。
T: What am I doing
S: You are singing.
T: Yes, I am singing now. Maybe I am a singer now.
教师板书:a(红笔)singer。
用同样的方式教学writer。
(2)Let` s chant.操练单词
学生做动作吟唱歌曲:
I teach lessons. I am a teacher.
I sing songs. I am a singer.
I write stories. I am a writer.
【设计意图】通过真实的表演让学生深刻理解单词的含义并能使学生牢记单词。
2.通过谈话引入学习单词actress, actor
(1)T: What` s your father / mother / aunt / uncle
S: My father / … is a driver / doctor / teacher / farmer / nurse.
T: Do you remember what Zoom` s mother is
S: His mother is an actress.
教师出示卡片,要求学生拼读,并板书an(红笔)actress。
教师将女演员的词卡贴在actress旁,并出示男演员词卡问:Can we call him “an actress” 引出单词“an actor”,板书并要求学生学说、拼读。
(2)通过高低声练习单词的认读及拼读。
3.通过出示卡片学习单词TV reporter, artist
(1)教师出示TV reporter, artist图片,示范朗读,让学生跟说并做动作。
(2)教师出示王小丫和徐悲鸿的照片,问:“What does she / he do ”引导学生回答:“She / he is a TV reporter / an artist. ”启发学生说出更多电视台记者和画家的名字。当学生说出更多电视台记者和画家的名字的时候,教师说:Wang Xiaoya is a TV reporter. Xu Beihong is an artist. What are you going to be 引导学生用句型“I` m going to be …”回答。并让学生能够用句型“…is going to be …”说出他人的理想。
【设计意图】通过出示名人的照片让学生理解单词,在偶像的作用下学习、操练单词。并在此环节中教学了句型:What does she / he do She / he is…. What are you going to be I` m going to be …is going to be …让学生树立个人理想。

3.“快看快说”活动
教师同时决速出示一张职业图片和she, he, Sarah中的任一张卡片,学生根据卡片上的内容快速说出一个句子,如:She is an actress.
【设计意图】通过抢答的活动激发学生的学习兴趣,练习本节课学习的单词。并在复习本节课学习的单词的an / a的用法。

【设计意图】通过带名主持的头饰的方式,创设任务,练习本节课的句型和单词。

【教学过程】
一、Warming up/Revision(热身 / 复习)
1.情绪热身
教师放C部分歌曲“My Family”的录音,学生跟唱。
2.划分小组
将全班分为男、女同学两个组。表现好的小组每次可以得到一个单词,组成句子早的小组为获胜小组。男生的小组组成的句子是What does your father do. He is an artist. 女生的小组组成的句子是What does your mother do. She is a singer.
3.复习
“说出来,接力赛!”活动
全班学生分成几列站好。教师从本单元A Let's learn部分的卡片中随意抽取一张,每队的第一名学生A读出卡片上的单词并做出简单陈述,如:Write, My father is a writer. 然后站到队尾,如果不能正确表述则被罚下出局。教师再抽取一张卡片,每队的第二名学生说句子,依此类推。
【设计意图】通过游戏活动复习上节课学习的内容学生倍感兴趣。
二、Presentation/Practice(新课呈现 / 操练)
(一)分步学习对话中的重点语言
1.教学重点句型:What does your father / mother do He / She is a / an…,练习询问职业以及如何回答
(1)教师出示本课Let's try的挂图说:Can you let me guess what your father / mother does 学生描述后,引出:What does your father / mother do He / She is a / an….学生跟读句型。
(2)排火车游戏操练此句型。
2.教学重点句型:He teaches English. 练习teach后面接双宾语的用法。
(1)上面的活动,学生完成汇报后,我让学生调查我的父母的职业。我回答:My father is a teacher. He teaches English. 学生跟读句型。
(2)操练
①替换操练:What does Ms Zhang teach She teaches English, too.
②听Let's try的录音并完成Let's try。
录音内容如下:
Woman:What does your mother do
Girl:She is a singer.
Woman:What does your father do
Girl:He is a teacher. He teaches Chinese.
Man:Circle the right pictures.
【设计意图】创造性使用教材。虽然在本节课新授时就由Let's try引入,但在本环节才完成Let's try的教学任务。因为Let's try中有句型He teaches Chinese.在此环节中设计Let's try的内容,既教学了Let's try又操练了句型:He teaches Chinese.
3.教学C Pronunciation
(1)教师向学生展示该部分的挂图,示范朗读音标元音 / : , 和辅音/ w / , / j / ,/ h / ,/ u / , / d3 /,学生跟读。示范发 / tf ,/ d3 ,学生跟读并摸摸自己的喉咙以感觉浊音的 / d3 和清音的 / tf 的区别。教师引导学生通过拼读音标,尝试读出表格中的例词。然后教师放该部分的录音,学生跟读。鼓励学生说出更多含有本课音标的单词。教师指导学生完成Read and match的活动。
(2)“语音乒乓”活动
学生两人一组,每组学生轮流说出一个音标及含有该音标的单词,如:

2. 比赛、游戏或活动。
“背靠背”活动
学生两人一组背靠背坐好,每人使用一套职业卡片和家庭成员卡片。学生A先把家庭成员和职业卡片一一对应排列好,学生B向学生A提问,如:“What does your mother do ”学生A根据自己卡片的摆放位置作答,学生A根据对方的回答排列自己的卡片。问答结束,两个人的卡片摆放顺序应该相同。两人交换角色继续游戏。
【设计意图】通过创设游戏活动,练习操练本节课的句型和单词。
(三)教学对话Let’s talk

(2)教师出示有关职业和家庭成员的单词卡片,请两名自愿上台表演的学生仿 A Let's talk部分内容做对话表演。
【设计意图】通过创设小组竞争的游戏和表演A部分对话的游戏,复习本单元学习的主要句型和词汇。
二、Presentation / Practice(新课呈现 / 操练)
(一)分步学习对话中的重点语言
1.教学How exciting,练习How exciting在实际情景中的运用。
教师发给每名学生一张纸条,让学生在纸条上写下自己的名字、外貌特征将来想从事的职业。然后四名学生一组进行投掷比赛,如果谁能把纸团扔进前面的大盒子里,就可以大声说:“ I'm going to be a / an….” 如果纸团没有扔进盒子里,就没有机会大声说出自己将来想从事的职业。学生投掷进行得热烈的时候,教师大声说:“How exciting!”然后在黑板上板书How exciting!教师适时说几次“How exciting!”然后带读:“Exciting! Game is exciting. How exciting!”学生跟说。
(2)强“理想”游戏
教师出示本单元的词汇卡片,请每组选出4位同学说出自己的理想。然后上黑板上强自己理想的卡片。强到自己理想的卡片的同学说:“How exciting!”
2.教学Who` s she / he 练习Who` s she / he 在实际情景中的运用。
(1)猜一猜游戏
教师从刚才游戏中使用的大纸盒里随意拿出一个纸团,把纸条上所写的人的特征和所向往的职业告诉学生,并提问:“Who's he / she ”请学生猜一猜:写这张纸条的学生是谁。
(2)通过CAI课件展示一些名人的卡通图来练习句型。
3.教学What does she / he do Where does she / he work How does she / he go to … 练习句型在实际情景中的运用。
(1)教师课前准备一个朋友的照片或简笔画,把该人物的相关信息分别写在纸上附在相应的照片后面,然后向学生介绍:This is my friend. 教师鼓励学生提问,如:What does she / e like What does she / he do Where does she / he work How does she / he go to … 教师回答,如:She / He works…. She / He goes to work by….
(2)学生分小组或同桌之间进行上述的问答练习。
【设计意图】通过各种方式呈现、操练本节课的重点语句,为Let` s read部分的教学打下基础。
(二)巧用比赛 / 游戏 / 歌曲 / 歌谣/ Do来突破重 / 难点句型
运用刚才练习的句型,学生自己设计一份表格,进行采访并做出记录。
【设计意图】通过采访活动综合运用所学知识,操练所学知识。
(三)教学Let’s read
1.Watch VCD / Listen to the tape.
2.读,划知识点。
3.再读Let` s read,完成后面的练习。
