易错点一：辨析when与what time
【典例】—What_time do you usually go to school?
—At eight o'clock in the morning.
【精讲】what time意为“几点；什么时候”，用来询问具体时刻，常用句型“what time do/does＋主语＋动词原形＋...？” when意为“什么时候”，所表示的时间范围较广，既可询问具体时刻，也可询问年份、月份、日期等。

易错点二：辨析job与work
【典例】He has a job at the school.
【精讲】①两者作名词用，都意为“工作”，但二者用法有区别。job指具体的职业或零工，是可数名词，复数形式是jobs；work指人们日常生活和工作中从事的体力或脑力劳动，为不可数名词。“一份工作”应用“a piece of work”。
②work还可以作动词，意为“工作”。

易错点三：介词at，on，in的用法
【典例】His sister usually cleans her room at 8：30 in the morning.
【精讲】at常用在表示某一具体时刻的名词前；on常用在表示具体某一日及某一日的早晨、上午、下午、晚上或星期几的名词前；in常用在年、月、季节、世纪及表示泛指的上午、下午或晚上的名词前。

易错点四：时间表达法
【典例】twenty past eight
【精讲】(1)“整点”的表达：用“基数词＋o'clock”。
(2)“非整点”的表达：方法一，无论是“时”还是“分”，一律读基数词，遇到0时读字母o；方法二，利用介词(past，to)读数法，如：
①当0＜分钟数≤30时，按“分＋past＋时”表示几点过几分；
②当30＜分钟数＜60时，按“(60－分钟数)＋to＋时(下一钟点数)”表示差几分到几点。
【注意】半小时可用half表示，一刻可用a quarter表示。

易错点五：either...or...“要么……要么……；或者……或者……”的用法
【典例】He does his homework either on Saturday or on Sunday.
【精讲】either...or...连接两个并列的主语时，其谓语动词的使用要遵循“就近原则”，即or后面主语的数和谓语动词的数应保持一致。

2．频度副词的位置
①频度副词一般位于be动词、助动词或情态动词之后，实义动词之前。
eg：She doesn't often play computer games.她不经常玩电脑游戏。
Mary always eats a lot of fruit.玛丽总是吃很多水果。
②有时为了强调，也可以将频度副词放在句首或句尾。
eg：I sometimes help my mother with the housework.
＝Sometimes I help my mother with the housework.
＝I help my mother with the housework sometimes.有时候我帮助妈妈做家务。
when与what time引导的特殊疑问句
1．when与what time都意为“何时，什么时候？”，引导特殊疑问句常用句型为：When/What time＋do/does＋主语＋动词原形＋...?
2．What time常用来提问具体时间点。此时what time可用when替换。
eg：What time do you go to school?
＝When do you go to school？你什么时候去上学？
3．when常用来提问年、月、日、上/下午等大概时间，此时when不可与what time替换。
