【精讲】“疑问词＋不定式”结构是从句的简略形式。该结构可在句子中作主语、宾语和表语。常用于此结构的特殊疑问词有how、what、where、when等。

易错点二：exciting与excited
【典例】This is an exciting movie.
【精讲】exciting形容词，意为“令人激动的；令人兴奋的”，用来修饰事或物。excited形容词，意为“感到兴奋的”，常用来形容人。
【拓展】在英语中，很多以?ing结尾的形容词常用来描述事物本身的特征，主语通常是事或物；以?ed结尾的形容词常用来描述人对事物的感受，主语通常是人。类似的单词还有interesting/interested；boring/bored；amazing/amazed等。

【精讲】grow作及物动词时，意为“种植；栽种(花或庄稼)”。grow作不及物动词时，意为“生长、发育”。常用短语grow up意为“长大，长成”。grow还可作系动词，意为“渐渐变得”，后接形容词作表语。

易错点四：fast与quick
【典例】That's a fast car.
【精讲】fast与quick都含有“快”的意思。但是fast侧重指人或物体具有动作快的特点；quick常指反应快或表示某事物在较短的时间内发生或完成。另外fast既可作形容词，也可作副词，其反义词分别为slow/slowly；而quick只能作形容词，其副词形式为quickly。

易错点五：hear与listen to
【典例】I couldn't hear you clearly.Please speak a little louder.
【精讲】hear与listen to都属于感官动词，都含有“听”的意思。但是hear是及物动词，意为“听见，听到”；强调“听”的结果，其后可直接接宾语。listen是不及物动词，意为“听，倾听”；强调“听”的动作，若后接宾语，要与介词to连用。

3．动词过去式的构成
①be动词的过去式：am/is→was；are→were
②实义动词的过去式：
a)一般在词尾加?ed
eg：play→played；clean→cleaned
b)以字母e结尾的直接加?d
eg：live→lived；like→liked
c)以“辅音字母＋y”结尾的，变“y”为“i”，再加?ed
eg：study→studied；worry→worried
d)末尾只有一个辅音字母的重读闭音节单词，先双写这个辅音字母，再加?ed
eg：stop→stopped；plan→planned
e)不规则变化
eg：do→did；go→went；have→had；eat→ate；
buy→bought；write→wrote
4．一般过去时的句型
①含be动词句型的过去时：
a)肯定句：主语＋was/were＋表语＋(其他)．
b)否定句：主语＋was/were＋not＋表语(＋其他)．
c)一般疑问句：Was/Were＋主语＋表语(＋其他)?
eg：I was at home yesterday.昨天我在家。
I was not at home yesterday.我昨天不在家。
—Were you at home yesterday？你昨天在家吗？
—Yes，I was./No，I wasn't.是的，我在。/不，我不在。
②含实义动词句型的过去时：
a)肯定句：主语＋动词过去式＋其他．
b)否定句：主语＋did not(didn't)＋动词原形＋其他．
c)一般疑问句：Did＋主语＋动词原形＋其他？
肯定回答：Yes，主语＋did.
否定回答：No，主语＋didn't.
eg：I went to the zoo last weekend.上周末我去了动物园。
I didn't go to the zoo last weekend.上周末我没去动物园。
—Did you go to the zoo last weekend？上周末你去动物园了吗？
—Yes，I did./No，I didn't.是的，我去了。/不，我没去。
