Unit 1 Tony always likes birthday parties.

一、内容分析
话题：本模块以“不同的习惯”为话题，围绕如何为他人挑选生日礼物而展开听、说、读、写的语言实践活动。同时，引导学生乐于交友，培养健康向上的品格。通过学习，使学生乐于接触并了解其他国家的风俗习惯—其他国家的人们如何赠送生日礼物。
具体内容分析：
⑴ Unit 1为听说课；
第一部分vocabulary的主要任务是学习词汇，引出本单元的话题“过生日”及过生日时人们常做的事情，为Activity 2的听力练习做铺垫；
第二部分listening包括Activity 2和Activities 4-5三部分，Activity 2的听力处理按照课本中的活动设计：听录音然后完成表格；Activities 4-5的听力部分，可设计成两个听力任务：任务一听录音回答问题；任务二在听录音判读句子对错。
第三部分pronunciation and speaking包括Activity3 work in pairs、Activities6-8 listen and repeat.

<一>教学目标
语言目标：
Key vocabulary—different, habit, always, card, present, usually, often, never, get, OK;
Key structures - Wang Dong usually has a party.
Tony always likes parties.
-Let’s give him a computer game.
-No, he never plays computer games.
学会正确使用频度副词—always, usually, often, never等。
语言技能：能够围绕“Tony’s birthday”展开讨论；学会为他人挑选生日礼物；掌握/h/ /r/的发音。
学习策略：通过合作、探究的方式学习；留心生活中有关“生日礼物”的简单英语；学习利用不同的媒体获取相关的学习资源。
情感态度：乐于交友，乐于与他人合作，培养健康向上的品格。
文化意识：了解不同国家的人们在赠送生日礼物时的不同风俗习惯。
<二>重点及难点:
1．频度副词的使用及在句中的位置。
2．动词第三人称单数形式。
3．形容词性物主代词的用法。
<三> 教学过程三、教学的主要环节
Step 1 .导入
伴随着大屏幕“生日快乐”的音乐声，向学生设问：“你知道自己的生日吗？你知道爸爸、妈妈的生日吗？你知道朋友的生日吗？你想学会用英语谈论你和别人的生日吗？这节课我们将学习相关知识。”
Step 2、单词的讲授和学习
（1）利用挂历和大屏幕教学十二月份。
（2）因为前面已讲授过基数词，因而本课的序数词在此基础上比较容易。利用大屏幕显示我自编的一首顺口溜，以助学生们更快、更好地记住序数词的构成，及变化特点。（基变序，有规律，1、2、3、特殊记，th从4起，8去t，9减e ,f来把ve替，ty变成tie，若是遇到几十几，只变个位就可以。）
3、介绍英语中年，月，日的表达及书写方法，请学生从大屏幕上显示的例子中，区分中、英文表达方法上的不同。
4、在对话教授过程中，利用大屏幕，先用陈述句“My birthday is July 16th.” 作为索引，然后就划线部分“July 16th” 提问，从而导出了“When is your birthday ”这一问句，并引导学生作出正确的回答，“It’s July 16th.”或 “My birthday is July 16th.”
Step3、同学们迫切希望能用英语表达自己的生日，因而在小组内进行讨论，互相问答后进行比赛，问答无误每人加一分，分数累计最多的小组为优胜组。
Step4、比赛后，回到课本SectionA、 1a 中，有了自由对话的基础，同学们对书内的对话很快就能熟练地朗读和表演。
Step5听力部分，通过以上练习同学们将会非常轻松自如地完成。提高学生的听力能力。
Step6、说、练、听之后，请同学们在小组内讨论并自编对话，加强书写训练，请四名同学到黑板上书写，仍使用小组竞赛形式,在原有分数上累计得分。这不但激发了学生的积极性,而且增强他们的竞争意识。
Step7利用大屏幕,总结本课所学重点及各组得分情况，评出红旗小组。
Step8家庭作业 : (1)复习单词, 练习对话，以巩固本课所学内容。
(2)询问家人及朋友的生日，提高学生的关爱意识。
Step9板书设计，在课题左下方贴一张挂历。右下方贴生日图，在图下写上“When is your birthday ”“It’s July 16th.” “My birthday is 16th.”。在最右侧，用小黑板挂出序数词的变化口决及有特殊变化的几个例词。
