教学思路
本节课介绍了不同外貌特征的人,从成人到孩子,从中国人到外国人,从身高,长相,五官来描述,所以本课的设计主要是大量的练习. 本课是该单元的一个综合,以语段的形式介绍人物,从国籍,年龄,外貌特征等方面进行描述.所以该课的最大亮点是可以介绍任何学生感兴趣的人物.我在设计课时将学生喜欢的明星引入该课,以提高学生的兴趣.
学情分析
学生对人物描述有一定的基础,但可能没有形成一定的模式.他们对不同人物的描述应该有很大的兴趣.
教学目标
1.能使用本课的词汇及句式描述人物的外貌特征,年龄,身份,国籍等. 2.会用英语写出介绍自己或他人的小短文.
3. have / has 用法
教学重点
1.短语句式的灵活运用. 2.能从国籍,长相,年龄等方面描述一个人物.
教学难点
1. 描述人物的特征. 2. have / has 用法
教学过程
Step 1.Warm up.
Step 2.Review
1. Show some pictures and review the body parts,
2. Show some pictures and review:
Is he tall or short? He is …. How tall is he /she? He /she is….metres tall.
Step 3.Learn the new words.
通过语篇学习生词.
(1)different [? difr?nt] adj. 不同的(反义词same,名词形式difference)
be different from——be the same as
(2)cute[kju:t] adj. 逗人喜爱的,漂亮的
(3)twelve [twelv] num. 十二
(4)thirteen [θ?:?ti:n] num. 十三
(5)almost [??:lm?ust] adv. 几乎;差不多
(6)funny [?f?ni] adj. 有趣的;可笑的
(7)glass[ɡlɑ:s] n. 眼镜(glasses);玻璃,玻璃杯
设计意图:通过图片的形式,引出语段和生词的用法,培养学生的语篇意识.
Step 4. Lead-in
Show some pictures about some famous stars and lead in the main sentences:
---What does she / he look like?
---He looks cool. / She is beautiful. / She has big eyes.
Work in pairs and then ask the students to show in front of the class.
Step 5.Listen to Part 1 and try to recite it.
Listen and fill in the blanks.
What does he / she look like?
She is beautiful. He is good-looking. He looks cool. She looks cute.
Step 6. Listen to Part 2 and fill in the blanks.
(1)Jenny is ____ years old. She is ______.
(2)Danny is ______ years old. He looks _______.
(3)Li Ming is from China. He wears ________.
设计意图:通过听力测试,捕捉重要信息,训练学生的听力策略.
Step 7.To learn, to use.
1. Show some pictures about some famous stars such as Yao Ming, Pan Changjiang, Liu Xiang, Wang Zulan. And let the students work in pairs, and say something about them, then present in front of the class.
2. Eg. Yao Ming is from Shanghai. He is 38 years old. He has short black hair. He is 2.26 metres tall. He is a famous basketball player. His favourite colour is blue.
设计意图:学生们喜欢明星,学习用本课的句式介绍一些明星的基本资料,可以让学生们更感兴趣.
Step 8.Practice

教学反思
本课的话题很简单,就是介绍人物的特征,但是不容易引起学生兴趣.所以我在设计时加进了明星的元素,也拓展了不少知识,比如13的含义等等.这样能让学生有新鲜感.
