五、Teaching procedure:
1、Lead in
First,ask students some questions.
① How many festivals do you know in our China
②Which one do you think is the most important in China 引出National Day.
2. Tuning In
Give students 2 mins, then ask them stand up to answer the questions.
①What day is it It’s National Day.
②What are the people in these pictures doing
3、Text
①Listen to the text.
②Then analyse the text.
Key words: anyway/shame/else/ decorate …with
Key sentences: Do you usually have a gala in the evening or the afternoon
选择疑问句,用or 连接询问的2个部分,答案必须是完整的句子或其省略形式,不能直接用Yes 或No回答。举例说明。
Usually on the evening of September 30.
在有具体日期或其他修饰语时,evening,moring,等时间前要用介词on.无修饰语用in.
Listen to the text again. Then ask students to answer some questions in PPT.At last ask students read after it.
Role play. Practise their oral English
