B
When
I
woke
up,
I
made
myself
breakfast,
sat
and
listened
to
the
traffic.
Some
of
my
friends
asked
me
how
I
could
stand
living
somewhere
so
noisy.
It's
true
that
there's
always
some
kinds
of
noise
in
my
neighborhood,
but
to
me,
these
are
the
sounds
of
life.
It
was
Saturday
morning,
so
I
decided
to
go
to
the
park.
The
taxi
was
the
fastest
way
to
go
but
I
took
the
bus
instead.
When
you
ride
the
bus,
you
get
to
see
so
much
more
of
the
city.
It
can
be
kind
of
loud
on
the
bus,
with
some
people
talking
on
their
phones,
some
people
chatting
with
their
friends,
and
others
playing
music.
It's
just
like
the
traffic's
sounds,
though
the
noise
on
the
bus
represents
people
working,
relaxing
and
living.
Once
I
got
to
the
park,
I
picked
a
bench
over
near
the
play
area
where
kids
played
while
their
parents
sat
nearby.
I
could
see
and
hear
almost
everything
from
there.
People?watching
is
one
of
my
favorite
things
to
do.
However,
I
like
listening
even
better.
The
only
problem
is
that
there's
so
much
to
see
and
hear
in
the
park!
Usually,
I
like
to
close
my
eyes.
That
way,
I
can
pay
more
attention
to
the
sounds
and
not
get
distracted
by
what
I
see.
With
my
eyes
closed,
I
could
pick
out
parts
of
two
old
men's
conversation.
One
of
them
was
telling
the
other
about
something
his
grandson
said.
I
couldn't
hear
the
rest,
but
it
must
be_hilarious
because
his
friend's
laugh
was
so
loud.
When
I'm
old,
I
hope
that
I
will
also
have
a
friend
who
will
sit
in
the
park
with
me,
and
who
will
enjoy
listening
to
the
sounds
of
the
city
as
much
as
I
do.
24.Some
of
the
author's
friends
think
“the
sounds
of
life”
are
very________.
A.unpleasant
B.unique
C.magical
D.interesting
25.The
author
took
the
bus
to
the
park
because________.
A.there
was
no
other
transport
to
go
there
B.he
wanted
to
see
more
about
people's
life
C.it
was
the
most
convenient
way
D.his
friend
advised
him
to
do
so
26.The
author
closed
his
eyes
in
order
to
________.
A.have
a
good
rest
B.hide
himself
from
view
C.enjoy
the
sounds
of
life
D.avoid
talking
with
the
two
old
men
27.The
underlined
word
“hilarious”
in
Paragraph
5
probably
means
“________”.
A.truly
different
B.quite
popular
C.rather
strange
D.extremely
funny
C
Adidas
and
Puma
have
been
two
of
the
biggest
names
in
sports
shoe
production
for
over
half
a
century.
Since
1928,
they
have
supplied
shoes
for
Olympic
athletes,
World
Cup
football
heroes,
Muhammad
Ali,
hip?hop
stars
and
rock
musicians
famous
all
over
the
world.
But
the
story
of
these
two
companies
begins
in
one
house
in
the
town
of
Herzogenaurach,
Germany.
Adolph
and
Rudolph
Dassler
were
the
sons
of
a
shoemaker.
They
loved
sport
but
complained
that
they
could
never
find
comfortable
shoes
to
play
in.
So
they
started
making
their
own.
In
1920,
Adolph
made
the
first
pair
of
athletics
shoes
with
spikes(钉状物),
produced
on
the
Dasslers's
kitchen
table.
On
1st
July
1924,
they
formed
a
shoe
company,
Dassler
Brothers
Ltd
and
they
worked
together
for
many
years.
The
company
became
successful,
but
in
1948,
the
brothers
argued.
No
one
knows
exactly
what
happened.
The
result
was
that
Adolph
left
the
company.
His
nickname
was
Adi,
and
using
this
and
the
first
three
letters
of
the
family
name,
Dassler,
he
founded
Adidas.
Rudolph
also
founded
and
relocated
his
own
company
across
the
River
Aurach.
At
first
he
wanted
to
call
it
Ruda,
but
finally
he
called
it
Puma.
After
the
big
split
of
1948,
Adolph
and
Rudolph
never
spoke
to
each
other
again
and
their
companies
have
now
been
in
competition
for
over
sixty
years.
Both
companies
were
for
many
years
the
market
leaders,
though
Adidas
has
always
been
more
successful
than
Puma.
A
hip?hop
group,
Run
DMC,
has
even
written
a
song
called
My
Adidas
and
in
2005
Adidas
bought
Reebok,
another
big
sports
shoe
company.
The
terrible
family
argument
should
really
be
forgotten.
Ever
since
it
happened,
over
sixty
years
ago,
the
town
has
been
divided
into
two.
Even
now,
some
Adidas
employees
and
Puma
employees
don't
talk
to
each
other.
28.Why
did
Adolph
and
Rudolph
start
making
their
own
shoes?
A.To
play
sports.
B.To
walk
around
the
town.
C.To
make
a
living.
D.To
show
their
talent.
29.How
long
had
the
two
brothers
worked
in
the
same
company?
A.20
years.
B.24
years.
C.16
years.
D.60
years.
30.The
underlined
word
“split”
in
Paragraph
5
is
the
closest
in
meaning
to
“________
”.
A.separation
B.connection
C.cooperation
D.celebration
31.What
can
we
learn
from
the
text?
A.Dassler
Brothers
Ltd
provided
Olympic
athletes
with
shoes
in
1924.
B.Adidas
was
named
after
Adolph's
family
name.
C.Run
DMC
wrote
a
song
in
memory
of
Reebok.
D.The
argument
has
an
influence
on
the
two
companies
even
today.
D
You
wake
up
in
the
mornings.
The
day
is
beautiful
and
the
plans
for
the
day
are
what
you
have
been
looking
forward
to
for
a
long
time.
Then
the
telephone
rings,
you
say
hello,
and
the
drama
starts.
The
person
on
the
other
end
has
a
depressing
tone
in
his
voice
as
he
starts
to
tell
you
how
terrible
his
morning
is
and
that
there
is
nothing
to
look
forward
to.
Are
you
still
in
a
wonderful
mood?
Impossible!
Communicating
with
negative
people
can
wash
out
your
happiness.
It
may
not
change
what
you
think,
but
communicating
long
enough
with
them
will
make
you
feel
depressed
for
a
moment
or
a
long
time.
Life
brings
ups
and
downs,
but
some
people
are
stuck
in
the
wrong
idea
that
life
has
no
happiness
to
offer.
They
only
feel
glad
when
they
make
others
feel
bad.
No
wonder
they
can
hardly
win
others'
pity
or
respect.
When
you
communicate
with
positive
people,
your
spirit
stays
high
and
therefore
more
positive
things
are
attracted.
When
the
dagger
(匕首)
of
a
negative
person
is
put
into
you,
you
will
always
feel
down.
Sometimes
we
have
no
choice
but
to
communicate
with
negative
people.
It
could
be
a
co?worker
or
a
relative.
In
this
case,
say
what
needs
to
be
said
as
little
as
possible.
Sometimes
letting
out
your
anger
back
to
the
negative
person
may
make
you
feel
good,
but
this
will
lower
you
to
that
same
negative
level
and
they
won't
feel
ashamed
of
themselves
about
that.
Negativity
often
affects
happiness
without
even
being
realised.
The
negative
words
of
another
person
at
the
start
of
a
day
can
cling
to
(附着)
you
throughout
the
rest
of
your
day,
which
makes
you
feel
bad
and
steals
your
happiness.
Life
is
too
short
to
feel
negative.
Stay
positive
and
avoid
negativity
as
much
as
possible.
32.The
purpose
of
the
first
paragraph
is
to________.
A.make
a
comparison
B.offer
an
evidence
C.introduce
a
topic
D.describe
a
daily
scene
33.How
can
negative
people
affect
us?
A.By
influencing
our
emotion.
B.By
telling
us
the
nature
of
life.
C.By
changing
our
ways
of
thinking.
D.By
comparing
their
attitudes
to
life
with
ours.
34.According
to
the
passage,
to
reduce
negative
people's
influences
on
us,
we
are
advised
to
________.
A.change
negative
people's
attitudes
to
life
B.show
our
dissatisfaction
with
negative
people
C.make
negative
people
feel
ashamed
of
themselves
D.communicate
with
negative
people
as
little
as
possible
35.What
is
the
author's
attitude
towards
negative
people?
A.Favourable. B.Critical. C.Indifferent. D.Supportive.
第二节(共5小题;每小题2.5分,满分12.5分)
阅读下面短文,从短文后的选项中选出可以填入空白处的最佳选项。选项中有两项为多余选项。
How
Can
I
Fight
Laziness?
Lazy
people
will
never
amount
to
anything
in
life.
However,
laziness
can
be
defeated
once
a
few
changes
have
been
made
in
your
mind.
__36__Many
people
lack
sleep
constantly,
since
they
stay
up
too
late
and
get
up
too
early
to
prepare
for
work.
These
people
have
little
motivation
once
they
arrive
home.
Laziness
works
hand
in
hand
with
a
lack
of
motivation
and
a
tendency
(趋势)
to
put
off
things.
By
adjusting
your
sleep
schedule
to
provide
a
few
more
hours
of
meaningful
rest,
you
can
fight
laziness
throughout
the
day.
Another
way
to
fight
laziness
is
to
change
your
mind
from
passive
to
active.
__37__Others
take
a
more
active
approach,
viewing
each
task
as
a
challenge
they
must
overcome
alone.
Laziness
sets
in
when
you
no
longer
feel
in
charge
of
your
own
life.
Some
people
fight
laziness
by
removing
the
temptations
(诱惑)
that
surround
them.
A
television
in
the
living
room
may
provide
entertainment.
However,
watching
too
much
TV
in
your
spare
time
often
contributes
to
laziness.
__38__Complete
a
few
tasks
and
reward
yourself
with
what
you
enjoy,
such
as
a
good
dinner
or
a
film.
Laziness
can
also
be
a
lasting
problem
at
home.
Couples
and
children
may
all
have
different
energy
levels,
but
laziness
can
be
spread
if
not
dealt
with
immediately.
__39__
Be
the
first
to
collect
and
wash
dishes
after
a
meal.
Others
in
the
home
may
eventually
follow
your
example
and
perform
their
own
task.
It
is
difficult
to
practice
laziness
when
you
are
surrounded
by
motivated

第二节 概要写作(满分25分)
阅读下面短文,根据其内容写一篇60词左右的内容概要。
7
December
is
International
Civil
Aviation
Day.
Of
course,
we
immediately
think
of
the
Wright
brothers,
the
great
pioneers
who
invented
and
put
the
first
airplane
into
the
sky.
The
more
you
study
the
efforts
the
brothers
made,
the
more
you
admire
them.
These
were
men
who
had
a
dream—to
do
what
only
the
birds
had
been
able
to
do.
For
thousands
of
years
it
had
only
been
a
dream
and
a
mad
one,
too.
It's
mad
because
it
seemed
against
nature
and
mad
also
because
of
the
dangers
involved.
But
the
Wrights
flew
up
to
100
times
a
year.
It
was
the
process
of
trial
and
error
that
led
to
them
producing
a
machine
that
could
actually
carry
people
through
the
air
safely.
They
were
brave
men.
They
showed
courage,
without
which
human
beings
would
never
have
made
any
progress.
A
Wright
brothers
expert,
David
McCullough,
gave
an
example
of
their
courage.
He
noted
that
the
brothers
never
flew
together.
Why?
“If
one
got
killed,
the
other
would
still
be
alive
to
carry
on
with
the
mission
(使命),”
he
wrote
in
his
book
The
Wright
Brothers.
Determination
was
all
that
they
had
in
the
beginning.
They
weren't
from
fancy,
rich
backgrounds.
No
business
or
university
sponsored
(资助)
their
efforts.
They
had
to
do
everything
themselves.
They
put
their
lives
on
the
line
every
time
they
climbed
into
the
pilot's
seat.
The
philosopher
Aristotle
had
something
to
say
about
courage.
He
said
that
it
is
“the
first
of
human
qualities
because
it
is
the
quality
that
guarantees
(保证)
all
the
others”.
Surely
the
story
of
the
Wright
brothers
backs
up
these
words.
Courage
is
also
part
of
the
American
belief
that
anything
is
possible
if
you
put
your
whole
heart
and
soul
into
it.
The
Wright
brothers
certainly
had
a
can?do
attitude,
and
they
taught
us
one
great
lesson:
We
need
ambition
and
courage
if
we
want
to
see
our
plans
through
to
the
end.

W:
That's

You'll

Sure,I

Yes.
Don't
you
think

W:
Well,nothing
in
the
book
is
real.
They
are
all
imaginary.
I
felt
quite
disappointed
after
reading
it.
M:
But
it
is
a
reflection
of
the
future
we
may
have.
Science
is
so
powerful.
Something
magical
now
may

W:
Well,I
don't

But
I

Furthermore,I
think
the
book
is
too
childish
to

Childish?
It
is
a
book
enjoyed
both
by

You

Good

Let's

in

home.
A
competition
was
held
to
find
a
building
designer.
Nine
plans
were
considered,
and
the
architect
James
Hoban
won.
Construction
began
in
1792.
The
first
president
to
live
there
was
John
Adams.
He
and
his
wife
Abigail
moved
into
the
White
House
in
1800.
During
the
war
of
1812,British
troops
burned
most
of
the
inside
of
the
White
House.
James
Hoban
helped
rebuild
it.
Over
the
years,each
president
has
made
changes
or
additions
to
the
building.
The
White
House
walls

white.
But
the
famous
building
has
had
other
names
over
time,
including
the
President's
House
and
the
Executive

In
the
early
1900s,
President
Theodore

In

part

a
more
positive

In

I

The

Grade
Moore
Elementary

Lindsey
Winders
said
a
shout?out
is
a
compliment
that
students
can
say
or
write
down.
“Like,
‘hey,
I
noticed
you
doing
a
really
great
job
solving
your
maths
problems
yesterday.
I
wanted
to
make
sure
you
know
that
I
saw
you
do
that,’”
Winders
said.
Winders
said
she
makes
sure
she
is
giving
shout?outs
to
her
students
every
day.
“I
might
write
them
a
sticky
note,
or
write
them
a
quick

note
in
their

I
might
just
say
it

or
on
their

of
the
classroom,
but
most

I

Winders
said.
In

the
compliments,
Winders

She

The

Grade
student
Nayelli
Moranchel

she

at

six

this
year.
“It
makes
me
happy,
because
they
always

something
back,”
Moranchel
said.
Recently,
Winders
took
it
one
step
further
and
wrote
a
personalised
note

each
of
her
students'
desk.
“In
our
classroom,
sometimes
it
can
be
challenging
for
me
to
give
a
compliment
or
a
shout?out
to
each
and
every
one
of
them
in
a
way
that
feels
equal
and
valuable
at
the

So
I
decide
that
there
is
no
better
way
than
leaving
a
note
on
their
desk
that
can
stay
for
as
long
as
they
want
it
to,”
Winders
said.
Winders
said
it
is
encouraging
when
she
saw
her
students
copy
the
act,
and
gave
each
other
compliments
without
her
guidance.

As
Internet
users
become
more
dependent
on
the
Internet
to
store
information,
are
people
remembering
less?
If
you
know
your
computer
will
save
information,
why
store
it
in
your
own
personal
memory,
your
brain?
Experts
are
wondering
if
the
Internet
is
changing
what
we
remember
and
how.
In
a
recent
study,
Professor
Betsy
Sparrow
conducted
some
experiments.
She
and
her
research
team
wanted
to
know
how
the
Internet
was
changing
memory.
In
the
first
experiment,
they
gave
people
40
unimportant
facts
to
type
into
a
computer.
The
first
group
of
people
understood
that
the
computer
would
save
the
information.
The
second
group
understood
that
the
computer
would
not
save
it.
Later,
the
second
group
remembered
the
information
better.
People
in
the
first
group
knew
they
could
find
the
information
again,
so
they
did
not
try
to
remember
it.
In
another
experiment,
the
researchers
gave
people
facts
to
remember,
and
told
them
where
to
find
the
information
on
the
computer.
The
information
was
in
a
specific
computer
folder
(文件夹).
Surprisingly,
people
later
remembered
the
folder
location
(位置)
better
than
the
facts.
When
people
use
the
Internet,
they
do
not
remember
the
information.
Rather,
they
remember
how
to
find
it.
This
is
called
“transactive
memory
(交互记忆)”.
According
to
Sparrow,
we
are
not
becoming
people
with
poor
memories
as
a
result
of
the
Internet.
Instead,
computer
users
are
developing
stronger
transactive
memories;
that
is,
people
are
learning
how
to
organize
large
amounts
of
information
so
that
they
are
able
to
find
it
at
a
later
date.
This
doesn't
mean
we
are
becoming
either
more
or
less
intelligent,
but
there
is
no
doubt
that
the
way
we
use
memory
is
changing.

【语篇解读】 本文是一篇说明文。讲述了自控力和未来成功的关系,实验表明自控力强的人以后成功的机会更大。
1.答案与解析:C 推理判断题。由第三段中的“The

went
on
to

higher
SAT
scores.
They

down意为“崩溃,无法再坚持”,故选A。
3.答案与解析:D 细节理解题。由第一段中“He
left
a

4.答案与解析:B 推理判断题。根据最后一段中“For
people
without
self?control
skills,
however,
school
is
a
series
of
ordeals.”可推知,缺乏自控力的孩子,学业对于他们来说就是连续的煎熬,故选B。

Soon
we

them.
Seeing

She

She

Ⅰ.阅读

Coming
from
a
broken
home
on
the
mean
streets,
Quentin
had
been
on
the
wrong
side
of
the
law
influenced
by
secret
society
and
drugs.
He
has
risen
and
fallen
many
times,
which
is
why
his
turnround
is
all
the
more
inspiring.
Having
gotten
out
of
the
secret
society
and
later
honourably
retired
from
the
Marines
(海军陆战队),
Quentin
struggled
with
various
business
adventures
including
running
barber
shops
and
dry
cleaners.
Wanting
to
offer
a
healthier
option,
he
started
his
first
restaurant
in
2001
in
his
hometown.
Again,
success
was
lasting
only
a
short
time
for
over
a
decade.
Determined
to
make
a
change
and
focus
on
giving
rather
than
succeeding,
Quentin
changed
things
up
again.
It
was
then
that
his
life
really
began
to
turn
around.
From
2013,
his
restaurant,
The
Turkey
Chop
Grill,
would
close
for
the
paying
public
every
Monday
and
only
offer
free
food
to
those
in
need.
He
served
great
meals
to
over
1,000
poor
people
every
day
from
his
own
pockets,
giving
over
60,000
meals
in
two
years.
Money,
however,
remained
an
issue
with
such
kindness
and
so,
Quentin
took
a
chance
and
appeared
on
Guy
Fieri's
show
“Grocery
Games”
in
2015.
The
show
had
retired
soldiers
from
four
military
branches
in
a
cooking
competition.
Quentin
won.
Quentin
has
invested
his
winnings
back
in
feeding
the
poor.
From
1,000
a
day,
he
successfully
fed
2,000
for
Thanksgiving
that
year.
His
concept
of
focusing
on
giving
rather
than
winning
had
finally
paid
off.
“West

Park

and

I

for
them,

And,
maybe
that
might
inspire
them
to
do
better
in
other
aspects
of
their
lives.”
1.What

Quentin's
life
to
start
to

the
army.
B.The
pullback
from
the
secret
society.
C.The

of
his
first

D.The

D.Nothing

impossible
to
a

Ⅱ.七选五
Success
is
so
much
more
than
just
money
or
fame.
Success
is
about
being
able
to
live
a
happy
and
enjoyable
life
that
allows
you
to
be
true
to
who
you
really
are.
__1__,
if
you
want
to
create
a
life
that
makes
you
feel
alive,
here
are
three
things
you
need
to
focus
on.
Believe
In
Yourself
If
you
don't
believe
in
yourself,
how
do
you
expect
other
people
to?
If
you
don't
believe
that
you
can
have
the
life
you
want,
if
you
don't
believe
that
you
can
achieve
all
that
you
are
setting
out
to
achieve,
it
is
going
to
be
very
difficult
to
create
a
successful
life.
__2__,
it
fuels
your
creativity,
your
ambitions
and
your
motivation
to
do
things.
Know
Your
Dream
__3__,
you
are
never
going
to
truly
feel
successful.
For
a
truly
successful
life,
your
dream
has
to
be
based
on
your
purpose,
your
thirst
and
things
that
make
you
feel
good.
When
your
dream
is
to
serve
your
purpose,
make
a
change
in
the
world
and
express
your
gifts
and
talents,
you
will
feel
true
success
and
satisfaction
no
matter
what
the
outcome
is.
__4__
Success
is
all
around
you
and
being
grateful
for
the
smallest
successes
in
life
will
also
help
you
to
create
more
and
more
success.
This
is
a
powerful
attitude
change
and
one
that
will
help
you
to
support
your
ambitions
and
dreams.
__5__,
and
once
you
realise
this,
there
is
no
stopping
what
you
can
do.
A.Realise
You
Are
Already
Successful
B.The
truth
is
that
you
are
already
successful
C.When
you
believe
in
yourself
D.Success
also
helps
you
to
take
a
leap
of
confidence
E.If
you
want
to
have
a
successful
life
F.The
feeling
of
success
that
is
given
through
money
and
fame
G.If
your
dream
is
based
on
money
and
fame
