教学目标
1. 能够用What’s your favourite season Which season do you like best I like summer best. Why do you like… Because I can …就所喜欢的季节及原因进行问答。
2. 能够听、说、读、写Let’s learn部分的四会单词和词组。
3. 能够听、说、读、写Read and write部分的粗体字句子。
4. 能够用What’s the weather like in…(season) Sunny and hot. I can…等表达不同季节的天气特征和可以进行的活动。
5. 能够理解并操练Let’s find out. Let’s play. Group work等部分内容。能了解Story time部分的内容。
6. 能够了解Pronunciation部分的air, ear, sp, sk字母组合的发音规则，并能正确读出例词。
7. 能够看懂Good to know内容，了解有关全球天气差异的常识。
8. 能够听懂会唱歌曲“What’s your favourite season ”.
9. 通过四季活动的学习养成积极的生活态度，关注生活，热爱自然。

文化习俗
1. 世界上不同国家和地区不同的季节和天气有很大的区别。北京和悉尼在同一时间季节正好相反。北京位于北半球，悉尼位于南半球。北京气候四季分明，冬季寒冷干燥，夏季高温多雨。而悉尼全年温和湿润，风和日丽。
2. 在西方国家，每年的十月三十一日是Halloween（万圣节的前夕），这种夜间节日，多半是为儿童过的，成年人一般不过。因此，孩子们最喜欢这个节日。节日那天晚上，他们戴上假面具吓唬父母和其他大人，千方百计装扮成小鬼、妖怪、女巫等。孩子们挨家去串门，索要糖果或零钱，每到一家门口就喊：“Tick or treat, smell my feet, give me something nice to eat.”每户人家都会准备许多糖果来招待他们。人们把刻成人脸形南瓜灯笼挂在窗上或门口，庆祝万圣节。现在，美国的儿童对万圣节有了新的理解和做法。他们不再要什么吃的和玩的东西，而是要小钱，然后再把钱寄给贫穷国家的儿童，他们的座右铭是“Let’s share instead of scare.”一九六六年，约有三百五十万美国儿童集资二百七十万美元献给了一百二十个国家的儿童。这一伟大的人道主义举动获得了一九六八年诺贝尔和平奖。
资源拓展
教学中只要敢于大胆想象，可以采用的活动、游戏很多。活动、游戏的设定要达到我们学习英语的目的，同时注意结合学生实际，适合学生生理心理发展的特点，具有可操作性，联系国家社会的实际和热门话题。下面几个游戏供大家参考：
1练习单词可用猜谜游戏、快速反映、拼写比赛等。
2练习句子可用对错碰碰乐、句子接龙，快看快说等。
第一课时

【教材分析】
教学重点：
1. 听、说、读、写五个名词：spring, summer, fall, winter, season.
2. 运用句型What’s your favourite season 和What’s the weather like in… 进行问答。
教学难点：
听、说、读、写单词spring, summer, fall, winter, season.
【学情分析】
此时正值冬末春初,世间万物正在悄然发生着变化。引导学生观察身边天气的变化，并用英语表达出来，学生对四季的学习必然热情高涨。同时充分利用已学过的四年级下册What's the weather like 与五年级上册What's your favourite … 等句子，温故而知新，引出新知识。
【教学目标】
一、能力目标：
1. 能够运用句型What's your favourite season 和What's the weather like in… 进行问答。
2. 能理解并说唱Let's chant 部分的歌谣。
3. 能按指令完成Let's find out中的任务，画图并进行对话。
二、知识目标：
1. 能够听、说、读、写单词：spring, summer, fall, winter, season.
2. 能够听、说、认读句型：What’s your favourite season 和What’s the weather like in…
3. 知识点：能掌握询问最喜欢什么季节的句型What’s your favourite season 三、情感目标：
关注四季变化，热爱大自然。
【教学准备】
教师准备CAI课件（也可以用代表四季的图片或简笔画代替），春、夏、秋、冬四季的单词卡，录音机、磁带。
学生每人准备一套彩笔。
【教学过程】
一、Warming up/Revision（热身/复习）
1.情绪热身: Let's chant:
Mmm! It’s warm today! Take off your jacket!
Phew! It’s hot today! Put on your T-shirt!
Oooh! It’s cool today! Put on your sweater!
Brrr! It’s cold today! Put on your coat!

2. 划分小组

利用课件学习单词spring, summer, fall, winter, season.
1.学习：spring.
It’s warm today. The spring is coming. It’s spring now. I like spring. Do you like spring Look at the big cream. It’s spring. （板书spring） What's the weather like in spring
（利用课件展示小草发芽，鲜花盛开，冰雪融化，小溪流水等精美图片。让学生体验和感受春天。）
操练：通过有感情的朗读来练习单词spring.（把对春天的热爱之情读出来。）引导学生拼读。
1.学习：summer.
I like spring. But do you know my favourite season. What’s my favourite season Can you guess Just listen:
（利用课件播放蝉和青蛙的叫声。）

操练：通过有感情的朗读来练习单词summer.（把夏天的炎热的感觉读出来。）

6.听录音模仿语音语调

（二）Let’s start
1. 用简笔画呈现四季，让学生回答：What’s the weather like in this picture 复习巩固有关天气的形容词。
2. 出示标有重要城市的世界地图，指导学生两人一组运用句型：what’s your favourite season … Because it’s…完成Let’s start中问答与填表任务。
（三）Let’s chant
播放Let’s chant部分的录音，教师配合肢体语言反复出示相应的图片、词卡与Let’s chant中语句对应，帮助学生理解，然后让学生跟录音说唱歌谣。

2. Guessing game.
请一位同学到前面用肢体语言来表达自己最喜欢的季节，其他同学猜，猜对者上前表演，游戏继续。
对错碰碰乐。
两队各派一个代表在前，把春、夏、秋、冬四季的单词卡两套打乱顺序反扣在讲桌上。同学们一齐问：两个代表分别回答，然后抽取词卡给大家看。如果不一致，游戏继续。最先说的与词卡相同的队获胜。
【设计意图】通过生动活泼游戏、说唱练习单词与句型。这些活动适合学生的生理和心理特点，倍受学生喜欢，真正作到寓教于乐。

【教材分析】
教学重点：
句型：Which season do you like best 及其答语。
教学难点：
使学生准确自然地运用句型：Which season do you like best 陈述喜欢以及不喜欢某个季节的理由。
【学情分析】
学生在上节英语课已经学会了四季单词，学习热情比较高。本节课让学生在新句型中套用单词，既巩固了生词，又锻炼了学生实际运用能力。可让学生以小组为单位进行练习。
【教学目标】
（一）能力目标
能够根据所喜欢的季节及原因进行问答，如：
﹍Which season do you like best ﹍Fall. It’s sunny and cool.
能够听懂、会唱歌曲：What’s your favourite season
（二）知识目标
1. 能够听懂、会说并能在合适的情景中运用句型：Which season do you like best
2. 能够听懂Let’s try部分的录音，并将人物与季节正确连线。
3. 能够看懂Make a survey的指示语，并完成调查任务。
4. 知识点：能掌握which的用法；理解最高级best的意思；知道情态动词can后跟动词原形。

引导学生进行小组合作学习，增强沟通、交流的能力。

录音机和磁带、卡通人物头像、四季教学卡片、单词和句型卡片。

一、Warming up/Revision（热身/复习）
情绪热身
（1）播放本单元的Let’s chant，让学生跟唱。
（2）播放C Let’s sing，让学生一边欣赏一边复习巩固生词。
（3）猜谜游戏。学生自愿到前面，用句子、单词和肢体语言表演，让其他人猜测是哪个生词。
2. 划分小组
把学生以spring, summer, fall, winter命名分成四队，分别以柳树叶子、太阳光线、苹果和雪花作为评价工具。
3. 复习
（1）spelling game.（拼写游戏）
每队一份打乱顺序的spring, summer, fall, winter, season五个单词的字母卡片，在最短时间内排列正确的为胜。
（2）Free talk.
学生以四人小组为单位展示自己画的四季图片，学生之间进行对话。如：
S1: What’s your favourite season
S2: Summer.

There are four seasons in a year. There are spring, summer, fall and winter. What’s your favourite season （找部分学生回答。） I like spring. It’s warm. （板书spring，画一个笑脸。）But I don’t like winter. It’s too cold. （板书winter，画一个哭脸。） I like fall better. The apples are yummy. （板书fall，画两个笑脸。） I like summer best. I can eat watermelons and ice creams. （板书summer，画三个笑脸。）I like summer best. Which season do you like best （带着疑问的表情重复问学生几次。）
练习运用：Listen and match.
现在我们知道了提问最喜欢什么季节可以用两种句型。What’s your favourite season 和Which season do you like best 下面录音中是哪一种？仔细听，Mike, Amy和Chen Jie最喜欢什么季节，然后连线。
【设计意图】利用笑脸的多少生动形象地让学生理解句型，突破难点，为后面的听音连线和对话的学习扫清了障碍。

教学重点：
熟练掌握四会短语：fly kites, plant trees, make a snowman.
2. 能用I can... 句型说出自己喜欢的某个季节的一些活动。
教学难点：
句型：What would you like to do I’d like to…的熟练运用。
【学情分析】
本节课学习的是常见动作类单词，学生喜欢模仿，学习热情会比较高。其中swim, make, tree已经学过。本节课让学生运用以前学过的句型，套用上新单词进行练习，既可以复习上节课的内容，又可以巩固生词，还有助于提高学生实际运用能力。

能够询问和回答最喜欢的季节及简单解释理由，如：Which season do you like best Winter. I can make a snowman.

1.学习单词swim.

（1）高低音读；

（1）简笔画出几片雪花，说：Look! It’s snowing now. I’d like to play with snow. What would you like to do 引导学生回答I’d like to make a snowman. 再画出几种不同的天气图，如太阳、嫩叶等，与学生进行相似问答。
（2）学生模仿教师的示范进行调查活动，完成19页的表格。最后，每队派代表向全班汇报结果。
