模块10以Computers为话题，内容涉及如何使用电脑完成作业、世界不同地方的人们对电脑的利用程度等。通过3个单元的学与练，旨在让学生通过这一学习与体验的过程，激发学习兴趣, 并且通过听、说、读、写等语言实践活动加深对计算机知识的了解和应用, 为以后鼓励学生使用英文软件、上网阅读英文埋下伏笔。
Unit 1要求学生通过听、读、说的练习，掌握有关电脑的词汇以及如何使用电脑等初步知识。
Vocabulary and listening包括7部分。Part 1要求学生根据录音内容，将方框中的词语排序。通过这一部分练习，可以使学生在复习已有知识的基础上，进一步熟悉本单元所要学习的语言知识，为相关语言技能的训练奠定基础；Part 2 要求学生在书中电脑旁标上各个部件的名称，进一步掌握有关电脑的词汇；Part 3要求学生用所给词语完成句子，初步了解如何使用电脑；Part 4要求学生听、读一段对话，借以掌握如何询问电脑的使用以及应答方式；Part 5要求学生在文章中找到所给的词语，并找出与这些词语相搭配的词语，进一步掌握对电脑的初步操作；Part 6要求学生把所给句子按照电脑正确操作顺序排列，掌握正确的操作方式；Part 7要求学生根据Part 3回答下列问题。

Unit 2 围绕“电脑的使用率”展开，介绍电脑的作用以及使用频率。

Step I Warming up
Make the students familiar computers. If possible, show students a real computer and tell them the parts of it. Or show students the following picture.

T: Hello! Boys and girls! Do you know what it is Do you have a computer at home Now look at the picture. Do you know these parts of the computer Now please match the words with the pictures in activity 1.
Give students enough time to do this. Then ask some students to tell the parts of the computer.
Step II Speaking and listening
Get the students to talk about the computer above.
T: Nobody really knows when the first computer was invented. It has many inventors. It is very useful. We must learn to use computers. Now look at the pictures in activity 1. What is this (pointing to Number 1) Do you know
S: It’s a printer.

Put the students into pairs and tell them to talk about the computer. Then ask some pairs to present their dialogues to the class.
Ask students to listen to the tape and number the words given in Part 1.
Play the recording and have them listen.
Check the answers with the whole class.
Step III Writing
Ask students to do activity 3.
T: Well. We’ve know the parts of the computer. How to use it Now look at activity 3. There are two words in the box. Do you know their meaning
Ask students to tell the class what the words mean in Chinese.
Read the words and have students read the two sentences and then fill in the blank with the two words.
Give students one or two minutes to do it. And then check the answers.

1. Ask students to remember the words learnt in this period.
2. Ask students to finish Exercise 4 in the workbook.

Ask students to listen to the tape.
T: You are going to hear a conversation between Lingling and Daming. They are talking about how to use a computer. Listen and answer the following questions.
Show students the two questions.
(1) What does Lingling ant to do on the computer
(2) Who is good at using the computer
Make sure the students understand the two questions. Play the recording and have them listen and write down the answers individually.
Check the answers with the whole class.
Then ask students to listen to the tape and then repeat.
T: Well done. I will play the tape twice and you just listen. But you have to pay attention the pronunciation, the stress and the intonation.
Play the tape twice. Ask students to read the conversation fluently.
After a few minutes.
T: Work in pairs and practise the dialogue. Change the role each time.
Then ask some pairs to read to the class.
Step III Speaking and writing
Talk about how to use a computer.
T: Now I want to open a new document. What should I do
S: Use the mouse and click “new document”.
T: What part of a computer should I use if I want to write my homework in the new document

Ask more students to answer these questions to make them familiar with the usage of a computer.
Ask students to write a short passage about how to use a computer.
T: Now one of your friends doesn’t know how to use a computer to write his homework, please write a short passage to tell him.
After students finish writing, ask some students to read their passage.
Sample writing:
First, use the mouse and click “new document”. It can open a new document. Next, use the keyboard to write the homework in the new document. Finally, click “save” and write a name in the box for the document to save the document. If you want to print the homework, click “print” and “OK”.
Step IV Reading, writing and talking
Ask students to read the words in activity 5 and try to find these words in the conversation and then write the words that go with each other.
Then call back the answers in a whole-class setting.
Suggest answers:
1. open a new document
2. use the mouse / keyboard
3. write your homework in the new document / write a name in the box
4. save the document
5. print the document
Then go on with activity 6.

Ask students to read the questions and the passage and do the match work.
T: Do you know how people in other parts of the world answer these questions Read the passage and find out. And then match the questions with the people who answer them.
Give students enough time to do it.
Call back the answers from the whole class, having individuals read out the answers.
Ask students to match the words in the 2 boxes.
T: Read the passage again and then match the words in the 2 boxes individually.
And then ask students to check their answers with their partner.

Ask students to read the passage again and then check the true sentences in activity3.
Give students several minutes to do it.
First ask some students to give their answers. Then check the answers with the whole class.
Step III Listening and speaking
Ask students to do activity 4.
T: Let’s go on with activity 4. You have to correct the false information in activity 3. But I think you’d better listen to the passage again before doing this.
Play the recording but pause after each paragraph. Ask students to correct the false sentences one by one.
If students can’t get the right and proper information, play the recording again.
Step IV Match work
In this procedure, ask students to learn the usage of “but”.
Put up the following pictures on the blackboard.
Ask a student to answer questions as follows.
T: Do you know who they are
S: Yes, they are Li Lianjie and Jou Xingchi.
Ask a student to answer questions.
T: Do you like Li Lianjie
S: Yes, I do.
T: Do you like Jou Xingchi
S: No, I don’t.
T: He likes Li Lianjie. He doesn’t like Zhou Xingchi. So we can say, He likes Li Lianjie but he doesn’t like Zhou Xingchi.
Write the following sentence on the blackboard.
He likes Li Lianjie but he doesn’t like Zhou Xingchi.
Tell students that if the two ideas in a sentence are different, we use “but”.
Give students more examples with but and then ask them to do activity 5 on page 63 individually.
Call back the answers from the whole class, and write them on the board.
Step V Writing
Ask students to write sentences about what they do and don’t do on their computer, using but.
Show the following on the blackboard.

T: Suppose everyone in our class has a computer or a laptop. What do you want to do And what

then fill in the chart above.
After they finish, ask students to change their work with their partner. And then ask some students

I. 文化背景知识
How to Use Computer
Many people can use the computers, but few of them know how to use them properly. Remember the following when you use your computer.
1. Keep your computer in a cool, dry room. Too much or too little heat is bad for computers. Damp (潮湿) is also bad for them.
2. Do not smoke near your computer. It is bad for many parts of a computer.
3. Do not eat or drink when you are near your computer. Pieces of food and a little water in the keyboard are also bad for a computer.
4. Make sure that the keyboard and the screen are not too high or too low for you.
5. Make sure the screen is not too far from or too near to your eyes. Some people use different glasses when they use a computer.
6. Keep your screen clean and do not have it too bright. A dirty screen and a very bright screen are bad for your eyes.
Rules to Make the Net Safe
Everybody knows that the Internet has become an important part of teenage life. Many would find life difficult without it.
Most teens use the Internet to get useful knowledge and information, and to relax in their free time. But some teens are not using it in a good way.
It is important that you use the Internet in a proper manner. Teenagers should learn how to use the Internet for study and keep away from bad websites, according to the National Internet Civilization Convention for Teenagers (《全国青少年网络文明公约》）
Teenagers should make sure that surfing the Net doesn't take the place of their homework or being with friends.
Here are some tips to make sure you are safe and have fun on the Internet.
1. Never give out personal information (including your name, home address, phone number, age, school name, or friends' names).
2. Never share your password with others, even your friends.
3. Never arrange a face-to-face meeting with someone you have met online unless your parents know.
4. Never answer messages that make you feel confused or uncomfortable.
5. Never use bad language or send mean messages online.
II. 重点知识详解
1．First, connect the monitor to the computer. 首先把显示器连接到电脑上。
　 connect作及物动词时，意思是“接通（电源、电话等）”或“把……连接起来”，例如：
A highway connects the two cities. 有一条公路连接这两座城市。
Can you connect the power 你能把电源接通吗？
Please connect the printer to the computer. 请把打印机与电脑连接上。
connect作不及物动词时，意思是“相连”、“衔接”。常与介词to、with连用，例如：
This river connects with the village. 这条河与那个村庄连接。
2．How do I write my homework on the computer 我怎样在电脑上写作业？
　　这是一个由疑问词how 引导的特殊疑问句。特殊疑问句的结构是“特殊疑问词 + 一般疑问句”。在本模块中出现了很多特殊疑问句：
What’s the mouse 什么是鼠标？
What do I do next 我下一步做什么？
How do I save the document 我怎样储存这个文件？
Where is the printer 打印机在哪里？
3．First, …. next, …, then, …, finally, … 　首先……，然后……，其次……，最后……。
　　在叙述某个过程时，可用这些表示次序的副词来帮助你把过程叙述的更加清楚。
　　First, open a new document. Next, write your homework in the new document. Then click “save”. Finally you can print it.
　　首先打开一个新的文档，然后在新的文档里写你的作业。再电击“save”。最后你就可以把它打印出来。

　 how often是针对动作的频率提问,回答通常是“多久一次”或“多久几次”

Module10 Unit1说课稿
一、教材分析
本课的内容取自外研版新标准初一英语上册第10模块第1单元。本模块以电脑为话题而展开。从认识电脑的各部分到如何利用电脑完成作业，最后通过采访实录的形式介绍世界各地的人们使用电脑的情况。整个内容新颖，贴近学生的生活，对学生有很强的吸引力，容易激发他们的学习兴趣。通过学习能帮助学生开阔眼界，丰富电脑方面的知识，并提高他们的运用能力。本人所执教的是第1单元的内容，主要是认识电脑的各个部分，以及如何运用电脑来写作业。因此，我在教学中，以教材内容为依据，结合学生已有的知识储备进行激活，灵活组织教学，充分调动学生的积极性，开展听说读写的活动。
二、教学目标
这节课我主要设计了四个目标：
1、语言知识目标：学习本课时涉及并要求运用的新单词与短语，和运用与表达特殊疑问句。
2、语言技能目标：能运用有关电脑方面的词汇及特殊疑问句进行听说读写活动，并能简单描述使用电脑写作业的步骤。
3、情感态度目标：通过学习电脑方面的词汇及运用来提高学生对英语学习的兴趣。
4、任务目标：通过学习，能独立完成在电脑上写作业的任务。
三、本节的重点与难点
重点是掌握电脑方面的基本词汇，学会使用电脑写作业的基本步骤。
难点是掌握一般现在时的特殊疑问句及其答语。
四、教学流程设计以及设计意图
step1：warming-up通过听歌曲营造轻松的氛围，师生之间的问候拉近师生的情感距离，为开始这一堂课做了一个气氛上的铺垫。
Step2:Leading-in by guessing and learn some new words.我呈现一张自己在电脑上工作的图片引入本课话题电脑。我在此处设计了一个guessing“What do I usually do on the computer ” 利用情景激活学生原有知识,然后又激发学生对此话题的兴趣。通过猜测游戏，引出“write my document”,教学新单词document。此后就很顺利地过渡到文本中的有关于电脑方面的单词monitor, keyboard ,mouse,moniter,printer,print。为了巩固单词，我又整体呈现了一遍，并利用brainstorm帮助学生通过活动开动脑子学习单词，激发学生的学习兴趣，达到进一步巩固单词的效果。
Step3 Listening此处首先是要训练学生对单词的听辨能力，完成书本上的第一个活动，其次还要学习与完成第三个活动。新课程标准强调在语境中学习词汇和句型，任务设计使学生在理解上下文语境的基础上，掌握单词和词组的意义和用法。因此，我在听力的基础上，抛出问题“What should we do before we play computer ”通过呈现图（用箭头把不同的电脑部件连接起来。）形象地引出了单词first,finally,connect…to,switch on\off，并教学这些单词与词汇，然后顺利的完成了活动三。
Step 4 Presentation在以上活动的基础上说“Now we can use the computer,but how do we write our homework on the computer Let’s have a look.”马上进入到进入本课教学的重要环节如何运用电脑来写作业，我利用四张图片依次呈现四个步骤。在每一次呈现过程中教学所涉及到的新单词use, click, next, save, box, then, again等等。此步骤设计的意图在于让学生在语言情景中，在教师的引导下学习与理解新单词。同时将单词与词汇放在句子中，也为稍后的学习作好有效的铺垫。
Step 5 Listening and reading.此环节深度接触文本，进入学习重点之处。
1、首先提出两个问题，让学生带着问题去听活动四中的对话，作到有的放矢。同时也激起学生对玲玲与大明的对话内容的兴趣，为以下进一步学习架设了阶梯。
2、学生对对话内容有所了解，此时给他们一个任务，让他们自己读对话找出click,open,use,write,save,print等动词并完成动词短语的搭配，即活动五的任务。
3、这一步就是在上一环节的基础上，对四个指令进行排序，也就是完成活动六。此时，学生对这样的在电脑上写作业的四个步骤，已经非常熟悉了，很快就能给出答案。在这个环节中，我特意在排序之后加入了四个单词first,next,then,finally，目的在于巩固这四个词的运用。
4、此时，进入读的环节，让学生跟着磁带读，加强语音语调的训练，培养良好的语感。
5、为了巩固所学知识，归纳了一些useful phrases and language points，目的在于让学生能准确的运用，输出知识。
6、Work in pairs环节，目的在于给学生输出所学语言知识的机会，让他们在二人交流合作中运用语言知识，进行探讨，加强对语言能力的培养。此时，学生基本能准确表达特殊疑问句及其答语。
Step 6 Do it yourself.本活动是一个综合训练活动，不但可以检测学生对所学知识的运用，还培养学生的动手能力，充分满足学生的好奇与好动的心理。
Step 7 Think over “What else can we do on the computer ”该环节一方面是与开头呼应，另一方面是拓展延伸，为学习下一个单元做铺垫。
五、教学反思
1、教学活动设计还不够完善。师生之间的交流比较多，但学生与学生之间的交流与讨论的活动比较少。最好再设计一个写的活动，这样从听说读写等四个方面去完善整堂课的功能。
2、有些教学环节的过渡与衔接生硬，缺乏一种流畅感。如，第五步骤在听力之前出示两个问题时，还有在活动七出示时，与上一环节都没有语言上的衔接与过渡。让学生感觉到这个活动来得很突然，他们会被迫迎战。
3、我自己电脑知识贫乏，当在Do it yourself环节时，学生使用右键单击建立新文档时并没有出现“save”方框，与书本上的步骤有出入。其实此时可以教学生使用“另存为”，就会出现“save” 方框，不致于尴尬。
总之，在这一次领雁工程的开课活动中，我收获了许多，特别是在县级名师许冬云老师的班级开课，我深深地感受到了学生扎实的基础与学习英语的热情，让我在与学生的交流与感动中教学，更让我深深地为许老师平时精湛的教学所折服。我想：在自己今后的教学中我会更加努力完善自己的教学基本功，提升自身的教学素质。
