第2课时
一、教学目标
1. 能够听、说、认、读单词drank, show。
2. 能够运用核心句型How was your weekend? What did you do? Did you do anything else? 进行问答。
3. 能够完成本课Let’s try部分的听力练习。
二、教学重点及难点
重点:

能够运用一般过去时谈论周末生活。
三、教学过程
Step 1 Warm-up
Look and say
教师出示上一节课学过的短语的卡片,汉语的一面面对学生,让学生说出相应的英文。
T: Before we start our new lesson, let’s review. You should say the English words so as to review what we learned last lesson.
Play a game
教师将学生分成四人一组,玩开火车游戏。A提问B:What did you do? ,B回答,然后询问C。依次类推。
A: What did you do?
B: I …What did you do?
C: I …What did you do?
D: I …
设计意图:通过游戏的方式,活跃课堂气氛,并复习巩固上课时所学词汇和句型。
Step 2 Presentation
Free talk and learn
T: What date is it today?
Ss: …
T: Today is ... … and … are last weekend. I was busy last weekend. How was your weekend?
Ss: …
引出新句型:How was your weekend?
It was …
紧接着呈现句型:What did you do? 并以词组的形式展示出答案:I stayed at home. / I cleaned my room. / I washed my clothes. / I watched TV. 教师领读句子。适时提问:Did you do anything else? 引导学生回答:Yes, I did. / No, I didn’t.
设计意图:通过师生的自由讨论,引出本课时的话题。
Pre-listening activity
教师讲today,tomorrow,Monday等8个单词翻译成中文,让学生举手作答。
设计意图:通过练习,让学生复习认知这几关键词汇,为下面Part A Let’s try听力练习做铺垫。
Listen and circle
教师播放Part A Let’s try 音频,请学生边听音,边看课本Let’s try,并圈出正确的答案。
T: Now please turn to Page 14, let’s try. Sarah and Mike are talking about this weekend. Please listen carefully and circle the right answer.
最后教师核对答案。
设计意图:通过听音圈答案,让学生初步感知对话内容。

教师出示Part A Let’s try的听力材料及音频,让学生听音跟读。
T: Now you’ve got to listen and follow. Pay much attention to the pronunciation.
设计意图:引导学生通过看、听、说等途径来巩固对话,为后面的学习做铺垫。

T: Mike is going to call his grandpa. What are they talking about, this weekend or last weekend? Please listen carefully.
播放Part A Let’s talk 音频,请学生感知对话内容。
设计意图:通过图文和音频,让学生感知对话内容。
6. Look and learn
1. 教师出示show单词图片,并带读。然后讲解drank。
T: First let’s learn some new words. Please listen carefully.
2. 呈现对话,教师标出重点句型,然后逐个讲解。
T: Next let’s learn some new sentences. Please listen carefully.
教师讲解句型:

(3)Did you do anything else?
设计意图:利用音频、图片和课件,讲授本课的重点单词和句型,帮助学生牢记。

教师让学生读Part A Let’s talk,让学生圈出答案。

Step 3 Practice
Role-play in pairs
教师播放角色扮演对话练习,学生可以看、听、跟读对话,可以关闭动画中的声音和字幕。与同学进行角色扮演练习对话。

设计意图:通过看、听、跟读对话,在练习运用本课重点句型的同时,锻炼了学生的综合语言运用能力。
Free talk
教师将学生分成几大组,请学生说说自己假期去哪里了,都做了什么事。
T: Well done! Now I will divide you into groups. How was your weekend? What did you do last weekend? What are you going to do next weekend? Please talk about it in groups.
设计意图:通过组内自由问答,在练习运用本课重点词汇和句型的同时,锻炼了学生的综合语言运用能力。
