答案与解析
【语篇解读】美国海岸警备队对这些年来百慕大魔鬼三角发生的很多轮船和飞机失踪事件进行了回顾,并没有发现有任何证据显示这些事件是由超自然因素造成的。
1.E 根据“一些人认为在过去的一百年里至少有五十艘船只和二十架飞机消失在那里”可知,E项“那个地方对飞机和轮船特别危险”可引出下文。
2.A 根据上文的“...thedisappearanceoffiveAmericanNavyplanesin1945”和下文的“Andaplanesenttosearchforthemalsodisappeared”可知,那些飞机失踪了,所以选A项。
3.B 根据下文的“一位作家说水下有强大的力量……”可知,一些解释很奇怪,所以B项能引出下文。
4.D 上文提到“一些外星生物”,由此可知,D项“这些生物把飞机和船劫持到了另一个星球”可承接上文。
5.G 所填的是本文的最后一句。G项“美国海岸警备队说,关于它的故事大多是科幻小说,不应该当真”可作为本文的总结。Unit

答案与解析
【语篇解读】本文主要讨论了海滩污染的问题。
1.sunny 考查词形转换。修饰名词一般用形容词,故用形容词sunny修饰其后的名词weekends。
2.buried 考查非谓语动词。分析句子结构可知,bury和其逻辑主语cigarettebutts构成动宾关系,故用其过去分词形式作宾语补足语。
3.tourists 考查词形转换。结合定语从句的关系词who可知,此处的先行词为表示人的名词,且定语从句中的谓语动词为复数,故用名词复数形式。
4.where 考查定语从句。分析句子结构可知,空处引导定语从句,在从句中作地点状语,修饰先行词theplace,故填where。
5.but 考查连词。根据语境可知,空处前后存在逻辑上的转折关系,故用连词but。
6.for 考查介词。此处考查固定词组betoblameforsth“对某事负有责任”,故用介词for。
7.ourselves 考查代词。与句子主语we呼应,此处应用反身代词ourselves作动词blame的宾语。
8.to
solve 考查非谓语动词。分析句子结构可知,此处应用动词不定式,表示目的。
9.importantly 考查副词。副词一般修饰形容词、副词、动词,甚至整个句子,在句子中作状语。故用副词importantly,修饰整个句子。
10.are
damaged 考查动词的时态和语态。分析句子结构可知,damage和主语thebeaches之间是被动关系,根据该句中的“need”可知,此处叙述—般的情况,故用一般现在时的被动语态。
Ⅵ.概要写作
阅读下面短文,根据其内容写一篇
60词左右的内容概要。
A
new
study
warns
that
about
thirty
percent
of
the
world’s
people

not
have
enough
water
by
the
year
2025.
A

(PAI)
did
the
new
study.It
says
more
than
335
million
people
lack
enough
water
now.The
people
live
in
28
countries.Most
of
the
countries
are
in
Africa
or
the
Middle
East.
PAI
researcher
Robert
Engelman
says
by
the
year
2025,about
3,000
million
people
may
lack
water.At
least
18
more
countries
are
expected
to
have
severe
water
problems.The
demand
for
water
keeps
increasing.Yet
the
amount
of
water
on
the
Earth
stays
the
same.
Mr
Engelman
says
the
population
in
countries
that
lack
water
is
growing
faster
than
in
other
parts
of
the
world.He
says
population
growth
in
these
countries
will
continue
to
increase.
The
report
says
lack
of
water
in
the
future
may
result
in
several
problems.It
may
increase
health
problems.Lack
of
water
often
means
drinking
water
is
not
safe.Mr
Engelman
says
there
are
problems
all
over
the
world
because
of
diseases,such
as
cholera
which
are
carried
in
water.
Lack
of
water
may
also
result
in
more
international
conflict.Countries
may
have
to
compete
for
water
in
the
future.Some
countries
now
get
sixty
percent
of
their
fresh
water
from
other
countries.And
the
report
says
lack
of
water
would
affect
the
ability
to
improve
their
economies.This
is
because
new
industries
often
need
large
amounts
of
water
when
they
are
beginning.
The
Population
Action
International
study
gives
several
solutions
to
the
water
problem.One
way,it
says,is
to
find
ways
to
use
water
for
more
than
one
purpose.Another
way
is
to
teach
people
to
be
careful
not
to
waste
water.A
third
way
is
to
use
less
water
for
agriculture.
The
report
also
says
long-term
solutions
to
the
water
problem
must
include
controls
on
population
growth.

听第10段材料,回答第18至20题。
Hello,everyone.Today
I’m
going
to
talk
about
small
talk,that
is,short
conversations
people
often
have
with
strangers
they
meet.Such
exchanges
occur
at
bus
stops,on
buses,while
waiting
in
line,almost
anywhere
that
strangers
gather
close
together.As
a
matter
of
fact,these
short
conversations
are
a
good
way
for
people
to
say
hello
and
express
friendliness.Such
conversations
usually
cover
a
wide
range
of
topics.The
topics
may
include
weather,customer
service,movies,TV
shows,local
sports
or
latest
news.But
you
should
always
keep
it
in
your
mind
that
private
questions
about
salaries,family
life,religious
beliefs
and
politics
should
be
avoided
during
these
conversations.Besides,it’s
better
to
ask
open-ended
questions.If
you
ask
visitors,“Do
you
like
our
city?”
They
may
say
simply,“Yes”.On
the
other
hand,if
you
ask,“What
do
you
think
of
our
city?”
They
will
have
more
freedom
in
answering.This
type
of
question
also
shows
that
you
are
interested
in
them.If
you
appear
interested
in
what
people
are
saying,they’d
feel
more
comfortable
talking
with
you.
18.Who
would
like
to
make
small
talk
according
to
the
speaker?
A.Relatives.
B.Strangers.
C.Visitors.
答案B

avoid
arguments.
C.To
show
friendliness.
答案C
20.What
does
the
speaker
recommend
at
the
end
of
his
lecture?
A.Asking
open-ended
questions.

change
topics.
C.Making
small
talk
interesting.

第一节(共15小题;每小题2.5分,满分37.5分)
阅读下列短文,从每题所给的A、B、C、
D四个选项中选出最佳选项。
A
  When
you
throw
something
in
the
trash,soon
a
garbage
truck
will
come
to
take
it
away.Then
where
does
it
go?That
depends
on
where
you
live.Different
towns
deal
with
trash
in
different
ways.
Recycling
A
recycling
truck
picks
up
paper,cardboard,metal,plastic
and
glass.These
go
to
the
recycling
plant
to
be
sorted
and
made
into
new
things.
Incinerator
An
incinerator
is
a
huge
stove
that
burns
trash
to
make
heat
and
electricity.The
ash
that’s
left
gets
buried
in
a
landfill.Trash
ash
can
be
poisonous,so
it
has
to
be
stored
carefully.But
it
takes
up
a
lot
less
room
than
just
plain
post
Food
waste
might
go
to
a
composter.In
a
compost
heap(堆肥堆),bacteria
and
worms
break
down
dead
plants
and
old
food.They
turn
it
into
good,rich
oil.Some
people
keep
compost
heaps
in
their
gardens.Big
commercial
composters
handle
waste
from
restaurants
and
farms.
Landfills
Some
trash
gets
buried
in
landfills.A
landfill
starts
as
a
big
hole.Trucks
dump
trash.Big
earth
movers
push
it
into
place
and
crush
it
down.They
cover
the
trash
with
dirt
to
keep
scavengers(食腐动物)
away.The
bottom
of
a
landfill
is
lined
with
a
barrier
to
keep
bad
things
from
leaking
into
the
ground.Pipes
drain
away
liquid.When
the
landfill
is
full,it’s
covered
with
earth.It
might
become
a
park
or
lawn.

第二节(共5小题;每小题2.5分,满分12.5分)
阅读下面短文,从短文后的选项中选出可以填入空白处的最佳选项。选项中有两项为多余选项。
Thousands
of
years
ago,people
started
building
boats
to
help
them
explore
the
watery
parts
of
the
world.Boats
let
people
find
new
hunting
grounds
and
discover
new
lands. 36 ?
The
earliest
boats
were
probably
logs
that
people
sat
on
as
they
floated
downstream.Later,people
made
these
logs
more
useful
and
comfortable
by
burning
and
scraping
away
the
insides
to
make
dugout
boats
and
canoes.
 37
They
tied
logs
together
to
make
rafts.They
wove
reeds
and
branches
to
make
tidy
little
boats
that
are
still
used
in
many
parts
of
the
world
today.They
sewed
animal
skins
together
and
filled
them
with
air—like
a
float
you
might
use
in
a
swimming
pool.They
used
paddles,poles,and
oars
to
help
steer,or
to
move
upstream.?
Boats
like
the
Greek
trireme(三列桨船)
were
big
and
heavy
and
hard
to
steer. 38
Soon
people
figured
out
how
to
use
sails
to
catch
the
wind.Early
sailboats
might
only
have
one
or
two
sails.But
more
sails
meant
more
power,and
fast
tall
ships
could
have
dozens.People
still
use
sailboats
today,for
cruising
and
racing.?
When
steam
engines
were
invented,boating
became
easier
than
ever. 39
As
engines
got
bigger
and
better,so
did
boats.?
Over
the
years,boats
have
been
used
for
fishing,for
fighting,for
carrying
goods,for
fun—even
for
living
on. 40 ?
A.The
world
is
a
watery
place.
B.It
took
hundreds
of
rowers
to
move
a
boat
like
that.
C.People
experimented
with
different
kinds
of
floating
boats.
D.Boats
have
turned
the
world’s
waterways
into
highways.
E.Until
people
learned
to
build
boats,all
this
water
was
a
barrier.
F.They
carried
people
and
goods
farther
than
they’ve
ever
gone
before.
G.Ships
with
steam
engines
could
sail
long
distances,even
if
there
was
no
wind.
答案与解析

36.F 根据“Boatsletpeoplefindnewhuntinggroundsanddiscovernewlands.”可知,所填的句子和上文是并列关系,介绍船的作用,所以选F项。
37.C 由本段中提到的“tiedlogstogethertomakerafts”“wovereedsandbranchestomaketidylittleboats”和“sewedanimalskinstogether...”可知,本段的主题句应为人们用许多材料进行试验,所以选C项。
38.B 根据“...werebigandheavyandhardtosteer.”可知,B项符合语境。
39.G 解答本题的关键是“steamengines”,G项中有“steamengines”,而且语意与文章一致。
40.D 所填的句子是对全文的总结。D项“船使得世界上的水路变成了高速公路”是对文章的概括和总结。
第三部分 语言运用(共两节,满分30分)
第一节(共15小题;每小题1分,满分15分)
阅读下面短文,从每题所给的A、B、C、D四个选项中选出可以填入空白处的最佳选项。
Most
of
us
have

a
change
of

at
some
time
in
our
lives.The
change
may
be
so

hardly
anyone
notices
the
difference,or
it
may
be
so
great
that
even
our
close

us.?
Changes
of
image
may
be
personal
or
public.A(n) 43
change
is
something
that
is
 44
for
us
as
individuals
but
fairly
normal
for
society. 45 ,if
a

may
be
an
important

for
him
personally,but
it
isn’t
 46 for
society
in
general.However,in
many
parts
of
the
world,people
can’t
stand
a
woman
getting
her
head
shaved.When
American
pop

Britney
Spears

her

people
decided
that
she
must
be
losing
her
 47 .?
Head
shaving
may
 48 some
people
because
of
its
shock
value—it
may
be
a
symbol
of
independence,of
escape
from
 49
attitudes.It
is
a
very
public
act
and
it
forces
people
to
 50
you
differently.In
that
way,it
is
perhaps
similar
to
piercing
(扎眼).People
think
that
when
they
have
it
done,they
are
 51
what
they
look
like.Not
all
piercing
is
shocking,however.For
women,having
your
ears
pierced
is
seen
as
quite
 52 ,while
having
a
nose
stud
(鼻饰)
is
slightly
unusual, 53
still
not
shocking.For
men
on
the
other
hand,wearing
earrings
is
still
quite
surprising
and
piercing
of
other
parts
of
the
face
cannot
be
 54 in
some
places.?
One
reason
why
piercing
may
be
shocking
is
that
it
suggests
self-inflicted
(加于自身的)
pain,which
some
people
might
find
 55 to
see.In
that
respect,it
is
like
tattoos

having
a

done
is
often
a
cause
for
regret
because
tattoos
are
more
permanent.It’s
said
that
75%
of
people
eventually
regret
having
a
tattoo
done.?

答案与解析
【语篇解读】本文是一篇说明文。文章介绍了一项将昆曲和中国传统成语结合起来的计划。该计划使年轻的艺术家们致力于创作基于中国传统成语的原创戏剧,以保持昆曲传统的活力,同时让它以新的理念再次流行起来。
mander 考查名词。冠词an以及形容词undefeated修饰名词,且空格处后的“namedQi”表明空格处需要一个表示身份的名词,故填commander,表示“指挥官,将军”。
57.waiting 考查非谓语动词形式。battle与wait之间构成逻辑上的主谓关系,故用动词-ing形式作后置定语,故填waiting。
58.drunk 考查形容词。此处缺少形容词作gets的表语,故填drunk,表示“喝醉了的”。
59.is
attacked 考查动词时态和语态。根据语境可知,全文的基础时态为一般现在时,Qi’sarmy与attack之间构成被动关系,所以用一般现在时的被动语态,故填isattacked。
60.forms 考查名词。oneof后接可数名词复数,故填forms。
61.combines 考查时态和主谓一致。分析句子结构可知,空白处需要填写谓语动词,由于陈述的是客观事实,故用一般现在时,主语是KunquOpera,表示单数概念,故谓语动词用第三人称单数形式,故填combines。
62.which 考查非限制性定语从句。分析句子结构可知,此处引导非限制性定语从句,指代整个主句内容并在从句中作主语,故用关系代词which。
63.to
work 考查动词不定式。allowsbtodosth表示“允许某人做某事”,动词不定式作宾语补足语,故填towork。
64.the 考查冠词。此处特指昆曲的传统,所以用定冠词表特指,故填the。
65.with 考查介词。分析句子结构可知,此处用“with+名词”作状语,表示“以,用”,故填with。

Jellyfish
are
a
species
of
sea
animal
that
are
named
because
of
their
bodies.Despite
the
name,they
are
not
fish.A
jellyfish
has
no
head,brain,heart,eyes,or
ears.
Fossil
evidence
of
these
creatures
dates
back
to
over
650
million
years
ago,perhaps
earlier
than
dinosaurs.With
so
many
kinds
of
jellyfish
floating
about,there
must
be
variety
in
the
appearance
of
their
body
parts.However,the
typical
body
is
made
up
of
the
bell,the
oral
arms
and
the
tentacles(触手).
The
bell
of
the
jellyfish
is
the
smooth
umbrella-shaped
body
that
is
designed
to
pump.Inside
the
bell
are
the
mouth
and
stomach.The
digestive
system(消化系统)
is
very
simple.The
stomach,which
can
be
considered
the
jellyfish’s
“inside”,is
lined
with
cells.We
can
easily
see
their
“inside”
because
water
takes
up
the
major
part
of
their
bodies,the
percentage
of
which
is
over
95%.
The
jellyfish
has
no
brain,but
it
does
have
a
simple
nervous
system
called
a
nerve
net,which
spreads
throughout
the
outside
layer
of
the
animal’s
skin.When
the
jellyfish
comes
in
contact
with
potential
danger,the
cells
of
the
nerve
net
respond
by
shooting
out
many
tentacles.
Although
the
jellyfish
does
not
have
sensory
organs,it
does
possess
tiny
simple
sensory
structures.Their
special
structures
in
the
body
can
react
to
light.Thus
the
jellyfish,though
lacking
a
brain
and
eyes,can
respond
to
sunlight
shining
through
the
water.It
should
be
noted
that,although
it
can
perceive
light,without
eyes
it
cannot
see
images.
Jellyfish,because
of
their
stinging(蜇人的)
tentacles,can
be
dangerous
to
humans.Of
the
more
than
2,000
species,roughly
70
are
thought
to
be
potentially
dangerous
to
humans.The
stings
of
some
of
these
can
even
be
deadly
to
humans,and
may
leave
permanent
scars
on
any
victim
who
is
lucky
enough
to
survive.

阅读下面材料,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。
Nicole
Moore
was
walking
around
in
waist-deep
water
at
a
beach
in
Cancún,Mexico.It
was
the
last
day
of
January
2011,and
the
39-year-old
nurse
was
vacationing
with
friends
from
her
exercise
group
from
Orangeville,Ontario,a
small
town
north
of
Toronto.
But
at
that
moment,she
was
alone.She’d
just
finished
playing
beach
volleyball,and
while
the
other
guests
headed
back
up
to
the
hotel
for
lunch,she
enjoyed
the
warm
water
and
splashed
the
sand
from
her
body,the
result
of
some
dramatic
volleyball
saves.She
didn’t
realize
it,but
this
simple
action
was
creating
a
disturbance
in
the
sea.
Nicole
looked
up
and
glimpsed
two
people
on
Jet
Skis
waving
at
her
and
yelling
in
Spanish.She
waved
back
and
laughed,thinking
they
were
having
fun.
What
she
didn’t
know
was
that
they
were
calling
for
her
to
get
out
of
the
water.They’d
seen
two
bull
sharks,and
they
were
trying
to
warn
her
while
attempting
to
scare
the
sharks
back
into
the
deep.One
shark
did
leave,but
the
other
proved
more
persistent.Instead
of
turning
out
to
the
boundless
ocean,it
veered
in
toward
the
shore.
The
Jet
Skiers
yelled
once
again
to
Nicole.Only
then
did
she
realize
something
was
wrong.
Nicole
pivoted
toward
the
beach
and
began
to
wade
in.She
felt
a
bump.What
was
that?Before
she
could
react,the
shark
ripped
into
her
left
thigh,its
barbed
teeth
tearing
into
her
flesh,down
to
the
bone.The
shark
yanked
away
more
than
a
foot
of
skin
and
muscle
from
Nicole’s
leg.The
water
was
instantly
ablaze
with
billowing,bright
red
blood.
Though
Nicole
felt
no
pain,she
knew
how
much
trouble
she
was
in.She
needed
to
get
out
of
the
water.But
the
shark
had
destroyed
her
left
leg,leaving
it
useless.She
started
using
her
arms
to
propel
herself
to
the
shore,struggling
to
move
forward
in
the
water.
As
she
did
so,the
shark
circled
her,and
then
lunged,clenching
her
left
arm
in
its
jaws.“No!”
she
screamed.
