Unit 1 Friendship 导学案
1. Listen and discuss: What is a forever friend like
A friend walks in when the rest of the world walks out.
A forever friend
Sometimes in life, you find a special friend; Someone who changes your life just by being part of it.
Someone who makes you laugh until you can't stop;
Someone who makes you believe that there really is good in the world. Someone who convinces you that there really is an unlocked door just waiting for you to open it. This is Forever Friendship.
When you're down, and the world seems dark and empty, your forever friend lifts you up in spirits and makes that dark and empty world suddenly seem bright and full.
Your forever friend gets you through the hard times, the sad times, and the confused times.
If you turn and walk away, your forever friend follows.
If you lose your way, your forever friend guides you and cheers you on.
Your forever friend holds your hand and tells you that everything is going to be okay.

When you think of a friend, what are some of the things you think of A person you can trust A person you get along with really well Someone who has the same sense of humor as you do
A friend is any person who fits these descriptions(描述), as well as many others. It’s important to have friends because it’s important to have a “support system” of people you can depend on. When we think of “friends” we often think of people we aren’t related(有亲戚的)to, like a kid you know from school or from the house next door. But friends can definitely(确切地)also include your relatives like siblings, cousins, or even parents! – The neat thing about friends is that they come in lots of shapes and sizes, and there’s no limit(限制)on how many you can have!
Some people have a really easy time making friends, while others take longer getting to know people. As you grow up, you might find that you like having lots and lots of different friends, or that you prefer having just one or two friends that you’re really, really close to!
Think about who some of your closest friends are. Are they the kids from your sports team or your art class Are they students in your grade, or in another grade at your school Don’t forget to think about some of your family members who are your friends, too!
