Sometimes
you
may
feel
unhappy
or
have
no
confidence,
what
shall
we
do?
Here
are
six
ways
to
make
yourselves
feel
good

confident.
1)
Look
in
the
mirror

say
loudly
to
yourself,
“I
am
a
unique
person
and
there's
no
one
else
in
the
world
like
me.
I
can
do
anything!”
It
may
not
sound
so
good,
but
it
really
works!
2)
Do
something
good
for
other
people.
Giving
others
help
always
makes
you
feel
good.
3)
Be
always
friendly
to
people
around
you.
Look
for
the
good
things
in
your
friends
and
your
family.

are
fun
and
give
you
a
sense
of
accomplishment
when
you
have
finished.
So
learn
something
new!
Have
you
ever
wanted
to
how
to
dance?
Go
for
it
!

Read
and
start
a
diary.
Turn
off
the
TV
and
let
your
imagination
fly!
Write
down
your
thoughts,
dreams
or
anything
you
want!
Writing
always
helps

our
family
time.

Good
about
Yourself
C
Tommy
got
up
very
early
on
the
Christmas
morning.
He
looked
in
every
room
and
wished
a
Merry
Christmas
to
his
family.
Then
he
ran
into
the
street
to
repeat
that
to
those
he
might
meet.
When
he
returned
to
his
home,
his
mother
gave
him
two
bright,
new
silver
dollars.
His
face
lighted
up
as
he
got
them.
He
had
wished
for
3
weeks
to
buy
some
pretty
books
that
he
had
seen
at
the
bookstore.
He
left
his
home
with
a
light
heart,
and
expected
to
buy
the
books.
He
was
running
down
the
street
when
he
saw
a
poor
family.
“I
wish
you
a
Merry
Christmas.”
said
Tommy,
as
he
was
passing
on.
The
man
shook
his
head.“You
are
not
from
this
country.”
said
Tommy.
The
man
again
shook
his
head,
for
he
could
not
understand
or
speak
his
language.
He
pointed
to
his
mouth
and
to
the
children
shaking
with
cold,
as
if
to
say,
“These
little
ones
have
had
nothing
to
eat
for
a
few
days.”
Tommy
understood
at
once
that
these
poor
people
were
very
hungry.
He
took
out
his
dollars
and
gave
one
to
the
man,
and
the
other
to
his
wife.
They
were
excited
and
said
something
in
their
language,
which
doubtless
meant,“
thank
you
so
much
that
we
will
remember
you
all
the
time.”
When
Tommy
came
home,
his
mother
asked
what
books
he
bought.
He
hung
his
head
a
moment,
but
he
quickly
looked
up.“I
have
bought
no
books”
said
he,
“instead
I
gave
my
money
to
some
poor
people,
who
seemed
to
be
very
hungry
then.”
He
went
on,
“I
think
I
can
wait
for
my
books
till
next
Christmas
Day.”
“Oh,
my
dear
boy,”
said
his
mother,
“here
are
some
books
for
you,
more
as
a
prize
for
your
goodness
of
heart
than
as
a
Christmas
gift”
“I
saw
you
give
the
money
cheerfully
to
the
poor
German
family.
It
was
nice
of
you,
a
little
boy,
to
do
so.
Be
always
ready
to
help
others
and
every
Christmas
of
your
life
will
become
to
you
a
Merry
Christmas.”

language

cold
to

anything

D
Starting
in
the
late
1980s,
the
plastics
industry
spent
tens
of
millions
of
dollars
encouraging
recycling
through
ads
and
recycling
projects,
telling
people
plastics
could
be
recycled.
but
their
own
internal
records
showed
that
industry
officials
long
knew
that
plastic
recycling
on
a
large
scale
comes
with
high
costs
but
poor
results.
A
report
sent
to
top
industry
directors
in
1973
said
that
plastic
recycling
was
not
as
easy
as
people
thought
and
sorting
plastic
was
impractical.
Another
document
a
year
later
showed
that
there
was
serious
doubt
that
plastic
recycling
can
get
profits
on
an
economic
basis.
Despite
this,
three
former
top
officials
said
the
industry
supports
recycling
as
a
way
to
beat
back
a
growing
trend
of
stopping
using
plastics
in
the
1980s.
“The
plastics
industry
is
under
fire,
but
we
want
to
continue
to
make
plastic
products,”
Thomas,
an
official
from
a
company
making
plastics
says.“
If
the
public
think
the
recycling
is
working,
then
they’re
not
going
to
be
so
worried
about
the
environment.”
“
The
public
gradually
doubt
the
idea
that
the
plastics
industry
could
do
a
satisfying
job
in
dealing
with
plastics
and
protecting
the
environment.
But
now
we
have
already
funded
new
technologies
to
change
this
situation.
We
don’t
want
to
see
the
pollution
of
the
environment
either
and
are
willing
to
solve
the
problem,”
says
Jim
Becker,
vice
president
of
Chevron
Phillips
Plastics
Company.
However,
the
more
plastics
are
recycled,
the
less
money
the
industry
will
make.
And
the
industry
now
produces
many
more
different
kinds
of
plastics
that
are
more
costly
to
sort
and
in
many
cases
can’t
be
recycled
at
all.
Efforts
to
reduce
the
use
of
plastics
are
increasing
worldwide,
but
any
plan
to
slow
the
growth
of
plastics
will
cause
the
whole
industry
to
lose
billions
of
dollars
in
the
future.
32.What
problem
is
mentioned
in
the
first
paragraph?
A.Too
expensive
plastics
recycling.
B.Failure
in
recycling
plastics
in
right
ways.
C.Lack
of
advanced
technologies
in
plastic
recycling.
D.Environmental
problems
from
increasing
recycling
needs.
33.According
to
Paragraph
3,
companies
making
plastics_______.
A.don’t
make
new
plastics
products
B.try
to
teach
people
to
sort
plastic
products
C.encourage
people
to
recycle
plastics
for
more
sales
D.think
environmental
problems
are
hard
to
deal
with
34.What
can
be
learned
from
Becker’s
words
in
Paragraph
4?
A.He
devotes
himself
to
selling
more
high-tech
products.
B.He
wants
to
change
the
public’s
understanding
of
plastics.
C.The
plastics
industry
is
praised
by
the
public
for
its
efforts.
D.The
plastics
industry
starts
taking
on
more
social
responsibilities.
35.What’s
the
main
idea
of
the
last
paragraph?
A.Reducing
plastics
production
has
become
a
new
trend.
B.Changes
in
prices
of
plastics
increase
the
difficulty
of
recycling.
C.Plastics
recycling
puts
the
plastics
industry
in
a
difficult
situation.
D.The
plastics
industry
spends
more
improving
the
plastics
quality.

Maybe
some
