Step2:presentation
1、Prepare

read
学生打开课本12页。做阅读前准备工作,先不着急读故事,认真看一下每幅图,了解故事的梗概,同桌间可以讨论。然后回答下列问题(三年级学生刚接触英语不久,回答时允许用汉语):

2、Read

(1)将故事从头到尾过一遍,帮助学生理解故事情节。
图一,让学生自己看图阅读,问辅助问题:What

along?(可以让学生通过看图猜不认识的单词的意思,锻炼阅读能力。讲解stuck和what
happened的意义及用法)
图三,辅助问题:What

farmer
pulling?

sad?
Why?(介绍pull这个词)
图四,辅助问题:Who
comes
along
next?
图五,辅助问题:What
is
happening?
Are

succeeded
?

串完故事后,开始朗读。教师先慢速把整个故事给同学们读一遍,然后播放录音,让学生跟读,重点词句可反复听。最后再播放一次录音,让学生跟着大声朗读。
分角色朗读:把学生分成小组(4人或5人一组),轮流朗读故事。给学生时间练习,期间教师走动,帮助有困难的同学。

play:把全班分为7人小组。每个学生担当故事中的一个角色,表演对话和动作。给学生足够时间准备,然后表演。
