I. Teaching goals:

Pass through “ Can you come to my party ” this sentence pattern, let Ss master some key words and accept and decline invitations two goals, and talking about duty and obligations this emotion goal.
IV. Teaching ladder
Step 1 Revision
Revise: A: Can you sing a song B Yes ,I can./ No, I can’t…..
Let the students sing a song after a students and do some actions in this song.
Step 2This activity introduces the key vocabulary
1. Focus attention on the screen. Ask students to tell what see in each scene.
2. Point out the blank next to each of the phrases .
Ask students to write the letter of the correct picture in this blank
3. Point out the simple answer. Ask students to fill in the blanks individually.
4.Check the answers : 1 b 2 c 3 d 4e 5a
Step 3 Listening
1. Play the recording for the first time .Students only listen
2. play the recording a second time .point to the pictures
Write the name of each person next to his or her picture

Step 4 Revise
Do a guessing game to revise the present tense
Step 5 Groupwork
1. Help students form groups of four .say ,one of you is student A .Student A invite the other three students to your party. The other students say yes or no Remember to give a reason
2. Have the students work in groups
Step 6 Pairwork
Look at the pictures on the screen .Let the students do pairwork
Step 7 Listening
Do listening practice about 2a,2b ,and do a special work: fill in the blanks.
Step 8 Groupwork
Do groupwork to practice the new key sentences.
Step 9 Memory game
Do memory game to attract students’ attention and practice the key sentences.
Step 10 Conclusion
Do a conclusion of the actions and reasons. And do some practice to revise them.
Step 11 Conversion
Do a conversion practice to complete this class.
